Mine mainly applies to my building because it shares the same parking lot as maintenance. I've never lived somewhere where you have to fight with maintenance for good parking spots. It's crazy I have to fight for a spot with someone that gets paid to work here while I pay to live here.

Walking distance to supermarkets like Walmart, Hmart and Great Wall Chinese grocery store. Gated entrance. Quick response to the maintenance needs. Beautiful community and well maintained landscaping.

Not bad, also not great. These days community is getting lot worse. When I moved here couple of years back it was peacefull and safe. Now loud noises even at night times from above apartments , huge gatherings even after midnights. Management takes the money but won't keep up with the infrastructure. Always the front gate will be either opened 24/7 or it will be broken. They don't even care who comes and goes out. Gym area won't have much equipment(not even dumbbells?). If some one wants to move here I suggest if it's cost 100$ more in a decent community prefer that but not this one.

Living at MAA so far as been a great experience. The rental staff and maintenance crew are very helpful and friendly. I have had no issues living here thus far. Its a safe environment and atmosphere is peaceful.

I love my one bedroom apartment. It is quiet here. I look forward to using the pool in a couple of months. They just replaced our roofs. Parking is excellent most days. The mailboxes are not far from the apartments. When I requested maintenance service, they arrived promptly.

I stayed because at the time of our move outs, we weren't able to find a house. The staff is great and the workers are even better, but these apartments and the amount of problems and being a very old structure has made it very difficult to live in with a family of 6. I asked to break my lease and being because I have had some many problem with the apartments, I asked them if it was possible we not pay the fee of twice my rent and they denied me. Having kids and just for my health and safety, cracked walls and ceilings, dented in floors, water leaks, air issues either with the vents or ac system, windows not properly working and air flow causes condensation which if isn't cleaned every day then mold starts to form, bug issues before I moved in, wall outlets not working, etc. So being that I have had all of these problems within the 3 different apartments I've stayed in with this complex, I would deem it unlivable. But I would have to come out of pocket around 12,000 just to pay the current apartment I'm living in and move into a home. Being that we have giving them 5 years we would have some type of sympathy, not looking special treatment of any sorts, just some understanding.

I have always loved how well kept the grounds are but lately, it has been a lot of dog poop every here you walk, also we have never had roaches and now our kitchen is infested with, pest control came out to spray but it has not worked , the rent just keeps going up

For the most part I would rate the community a 8.7 out of 10. I wish they had a club house in the community. Most apartments have them nowadays. They come in handy. That would be my suggestion right now.

Cool, not crime related issues, the community staffs are friendly and above all the environment and the apartments are clean and neat. The community is connected or close to business centers and shopping stores.

My experience at MAA Pleasant Hill has been fairly positive so far. Even with the several maintenance issues I've had, the maintenance team has always come out to my apartment very quickly. Grounds are clean and the neighborhood stays pretty quiet. Location around lots of good spots to eat in Duluth is great as well!

It's clean. The maintenance team is excellent. It's quiet, very peaceful. I like that there is a kids park, tennis court, gym, 2 pools, and a front and back entrance. The area itself is great. All stores are within a walking distance.

Overall, I've had a great experience living here. The community is nice and well maintained. However, clearer signs for the apartment buildings would really help. Guests often get lost, especially when trying to find Building 20, even after following the current signs. Adding larger, more visible numbers or directional signs around the property would make navigation much easier for everyone.

Ms Maxine, one of the office staff was amazing from start to finish. She was extremely helpful and pleasant answering our questions and explaining the apartment amenities. I highly recommend her for enquiries you may have. I love that they have tennis courts and pickle ball courts. Neighborhood is well maintained. The one thing that I did not like was that my apartment was not cleaned before I moved in. I was grateful that it had a brand new carpet but the blinds were old and looked like they had not been cleaned for years. I always clean before I move into a place but this was more than I bargained for.

By far the best complex I've ever lived in. The leasing staff are always very helpful, professional, and considerate (including the maintenance staff). I also enjoy the scenery and upkeep of the neighborhood. I have so much peace here!!!

MAA Pleasant Hill does not always feel like a safe community as the gate is broken quite often. This has led to concerns as one of the main reasons for choosing to live here was in that it was a gated community. In addition to this, the maintenance team is slow to get around to the needs of residents and they usually patch something up sloppy to where it will probably require their attention again in the near future.

I love living here. Maintenance is the best out of anywhere I've lived. When I have to call them they are here ASAP! They are also super friendly and ready to help. The grounds are well kept and it's fairly quiet on the premises.

The apartments don't come standard with microwaves but they do come standard with massive roaches that no matter how many times you tell them they still come in and maintenance will come in even when told not to because you aren't home. All the plugs are so loose nothing holds.

This is my second time renting an apartment in this complex, and I feel like the rents are expensive compared to when I first lived here (2014-2020). The neighborhood has changed a lot, and the rent has increased significantly.

The breezeways are not power-washed regularly, the paint has chipped on the doors and breezeway, which makes the apartment look very tarnished. There have been on-going gate issues and the gate pole has unexpectedly dropped on my car twice. The keyless entry pad glitches often and I experience the door jamming daily, so I dont have easy access into my home. One of the best advantages of living here is the maintenance team, they are very efficient and they are very kind. Usually within 24 hours or less my work order is complete! Also, there is no trash littered in the property so the groundsmen do an excellent job of keeping the area clean.

MAA is a great community with various locations and I've not had any negative experience living at any of their communities, which has been mainly in Duluth,Ga on Pleasant Hill. MAA properties had all the amenities that I requested.
