This was the first complex I toured when I came to Duluth for a new job, and while I looked at other places just to see what my options were, I felt like MAA Pleasant Hill knocked it out of the park on the first go. The staff is friendly and responsive, and the agent I worked with gave me lots of options to look at for open apartments, offered a great move-in deal, and was very communicative during the whole process. They've been very quiet since I've settled in, with the occasional email now and then to let me know about community changes or maintenance, and every time it's clear and concise and it feels like those issues get resolved in a timely manner. My particular building is quiet, clean, and there's always plenty of parking. I don't personally use many of the community amenities, so I can't speak to those very much. I've had a handful of issues recently and the staff is very responsive and helpful with them, and all-in-all I've highly enjoyed my time here so far.

The gates of both entrances are 95 percent wide open at all times. The gates always not in operation. And that enhance the chances of intruders of which lead to insecurity of individuals and properties as a whole.

Very little care for its residents. Picks and chooses which residents to care for and completely ignores the emergency requests made by its residents. Staff is not helpful when it comes to issues occurring in the apartments.

So far, so good. Nice community and amenities. The grounds are well maintained, the fitness center is nice, the pool is nice. The amenities are conveniently located with plenty of our favorite restaurants.

From the time that I inquired about looking for an apartment, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone that works here has been a pleasure to deal with. So far, I've only been here a few months and everything is quiet and peaceful.

I feel the apartments are nice-ish for how old they are but the staff, not all, are not very considerate and they don't care about the residents. You can ask minimal request and be overlooked. It is extremely overpriced...

This establishment is rare find with beautiful apartments along with nice amenities. I like the setup of buildings which has 2 floors from the parking side whereas 3 floors from back side. Swimming pool, gym and tennis courts are noteworthy amenities.

Carpets weren't cleaned initially, Stove isn't working even after 1 week post move. Haven't received a fob which the leasing agent informed it will be part of initial move in package. No response to queries made

I had the misfortune of moving to this community. The maintenance team is very ignorant and not taking any customer complaint seriously. They are closing the maintenance tickets without fixing the issues.

From the first phone call up until a week after move in. The community's staff has embraced me with warm & friendly energy. I want to give Greg a personal shout out for being on top of things during my time sensative move in. All maintenance requests has been handled within an 24 hr time window and the staff has been very responsive to my calls and emails.

The community is good it's quiet and kid friendly. The trash is and issue it's always all out in the road never in the trash dispenser. They gotta fix the gates. Maintenance always came when I asked. They're slow about getting the appliances and things like that but overall staff is good. The apartment itself is dated when compared to other apartments in our area. No wireless amenities which is standard in new apartments especially this area. The apartment itself is huge when compared to others in this area which is what I like most.

This community provides clean and nicely remodeled units. I did not feel like there were any surprises or disappointment between the model unit I initially viewed versus the unit I rented out. Their team is also very responsive to our needs, and I never feel as though my requests have been forgotten or unheard. They also maintain a clean and respectful property which is greatly appreciated.

It's a very beautiful community with good amenities, friendly atmosphere with nice neighbors. The neatness of the community is 100% , I would have loved to still stay if am not married and need to move to my husband's house. Loved it here.

MAA Pleasant Hill is a wonderful complex. Though there are some instances of noise at night, the office and workers here are on-point, ready and available to assist with any question or concern you may have. I do highly recommend this complex.

Maintenance does a great job. Leasing office is nice and addresses concerns. Washer and dryer are old and rusted (depending on the unit). As long as it "works" they will not replace them. Machines in fitness center barley work. It's an okay complex.

Great, quiet community. I like the community and what it's about. I feel safe and not in danger. If I have any issues, the team usually responds to me in a timely manner without me requesting help over and over.

I have lived here without incident for almost 3 years. However, due to the pandemic, I had to apply for rental assistance, which I received the payment that allowed me to bring my account current. Plus, at the beginning of the year, I landed a new job that placed me in a position to pay my rent on time moving and in advance moving forward. I put in a request to transfer to a 2 bedroom apartment in order to make room for my growing family, but corporate would not take my extenuating circumstances into account and make an exception. Truly disappointed that all the years as an upstanding resident have been completely disregarded because of a worldwide pandemic.

Everything you can find is close by. It's close to the market and the traffic is very good. Neighbors are good people, too. But I was afraid that very large dogs would attack people and get bitten. But it's not soundproof.There's some draft. Shower facilities and toilets are very good. The water comes out very well.

My experience has been great overall. I love how everything is conveniently around the area for shopping food and etc. I love the schools. I love the amenities and how they are available and the community is always clean. The staff is very friendly. And I enjoy my stay here. My apartment is very cozy and spacious for me and my family. My current rent amount is perfect and fits my budget.

When I moved into my apartment, there was property damage, as well as rodents scratching from inside the walls. When spoken to the leasing office about the issues, I was told it was squirrels and that it's common. After not having the issue handled for an entire month, it was found out that it was a system of MICE. Yet, the urgency to have them removed has not been a priority. If rent is to be paid ON TIME, not a day late without verbal threat for eviction, it is my belief that the same high standards for tenant expectations should be upheld against the complex staff and management for suitable living conditions. I was informed of a new stove and dishwasher replacement, for reasons being that "Rodents are chewing cables and lines within the foundation." Also being that some of these lines are GAS, I feel the least bit safe residing in a place with possible future leaks or bigger issues of those sorts. Otherwise, everything else has been suitable and if these requisitions could be resolved, I would be much happier with my experience here at MAA. Thanks.

Very unsatisfied, will not recommend to anyone. The price of the rental is outrages not worth the money. Will not renew my lease. The neighbors are inconsiderate after hours chatting n carrying on. Ready to go.
