    I really appreciate the car the staff had, both the actual front office and the maintenance staff as a whole. They always make sure to give you a hand when you need, very responsive and any issue is fixed great, I look forward to moving up to a 2 bedroom!

      I love it, been here 9 months. Clean, safe. The maintenance guys, work all the time. They are not lazy. They deserve a cook out, once a year to honor them. Where I used to live, repairs, were never done.

        Disappointed with Leasing Managements Lack of Flexibility

        My daughters first experience with this leasing office has been incredibly disappointing. She signed a lease for a three-bedroom apartment with plans to move in, but a sudden and significant change in her personal circumstances made it financially impossible for her to move forward with the lease. She reached out promptly to explain the situation and requested a transfer to a more affordable one-bedroom unit. The lease clearly outlines that transfers are allowed with proper notice and a reasonable fee, yet her request was denied without any meaningful consideration. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the leasing office had recently accommodated another change in lease occupancy, proving that flexibility is possible when management is willing to be understanding. My daughter had not moved in, brought in any belongings, or taken possession of the unit so no cleaning or turnover was necessary. She spoke with the leasing office in hopes of finding a fair and reasonable solution, but they were completely unsympathetic and unwilling to offer any alternatives. Despite continued efforts to find a resolution, the lack of cooperation has made this a stressful and discouraging experience. This was her first interaction with the property management, and it left a strongly negative impression. If you're looking for a community that treats residents fairly and with compassion during unexpected challenges, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

          I have been living in this apartment for two months now. It has been ok at best. We love the square footage and layout of the apartment mostly. The kitchen is kinda small but we love how big the bathroom tubs are. The AC system is terrible as we have to call maintenance to flip the AC system between heat and cold. So the thermostat is effectively useless. Whatever paint smell they used to paint the kitchen drawers are awful and regardless of how long I had them air and put air freshers in, the smell never went away. So now our plates and cups smell like the paint. The maintenance team are ok except they constantly badger us to put in a google review for them every time they do a work call.

            I've really enjoyed living here! The apartment is well-maintained, the management team is helpful and responsive, and the entire community feels safe and welcoming. The only thing I'd love to see improved is the gym?there aren't any weights, which would make a big difference for residents who like strength training. Adding some free weights would make the fitness center much more complete. Other than that, everything has been great!

              Our building's stairs and breezeways upkeep is poor. The stairs usually are dirty. The grounds needs more trash cans to trash out the poopy dog bags. There is not signs to guidance drivers to the buildings 10, 11 and 12. There are too much noisy people living in the complex and administration staff do not do anything about that.

                Some people play music until 12 a.m. Someone is still repairing their car in the parking lot. people drive way too fast in the community. people even drive in the middle of the road. some of them do not stop at the stop sign. Maintenance repairs one thing, but another issue comes up because they did not replace it properly.

                    I have been living for 5 months so far the experience has been good, the complex is quiet, our neighbors are nice and the facility's amenities are ok. However I do believe there is space for improvement in the amenities; we have 2 tenis courts, but only the one that is at the main entrance (at first sight) is in good conditions, the other has cracks in the floor and weed growing in it. We also have one gym, with very little equipment and only 2 treadmills. I think that for the price we pay these should be improved and fixed.

                      There is any issue with Apartment squatters. Illegal entrance by strangers. Stolen property such as food, perfume & toilet paper. Also vandalizism. My home is ran by homeless. The doors are hacked everytime I leave.

                            The community is clean and quiet. I have never had any noise complaints or complaints in general. When I have any maintenance issues, the community is prompt and efficient. I have rented from this community before in the past (different state) and have always loved MAA.

                              Everyone for the most part was so nice when we moved in except for the office manager I think her name begins with an A. She has said a few rude comments to me over the phone. The maintenance staff is amazing. Once you put in a request, they come out that same day.

I have not encountered any significant issues or concerns, and any maintenance requests I've had have been addressed promptly and effectively.                                       It has been good overall. There were a lot of pool closures over the summer though. There also has been many times when the dumpster isn't working. And problems with the gates. The gym would be better if there were dumbbells to use.

                                        My experience, overall, has been average. The community is nice, for the most part. I haven't used the pools because there are always too many people there for me, or they are closed for regular maintenance or emergency maintenance because somebody did something stupid. I've been here about 6 months and it seems like the gates are never working. Sometimes they are stuck open. Other times the key card doesn't work and you have to let yourself in through the visitor gate because you can't get in through the resident gate, which is extremely irritating. Currently one of the gates looks like a crime scene. Not sure what happened, but it is destroyed and there is yellow tape all around it. I was put in the back of the community where it seems that people are a little less considerate. People working on cars or blasting music, yelling, people honking horns at 4 or 5am and revving engines at all hours. My brand new car and 2 others were severely damaged in a hit-and-run accident in the middle of the night, so now everytime I hear a noise I'm worried about my property. The staff in the office and the maintenance team are great, in my experience. They come when you call and they are very helpful. Some of the residents make the community a lot less enjoyable though. It wasn't what I expected when I moved in and I definitely think the units are overpriced for what you get vs. what you have to deal with.

                                          Abdou is the absolute the best

                                          Late at night I thought I had a gas leak. I called in to customer service and this Guy arrived to my unit so fast. I was so afraid, but Abdou wouldn’t leave until he knew I was comfortable and felt safe. It’s such a blessing to have people that genuinely care. Thank you Abdou for everything.

                                            MAA pleasant hill community has nice environment and locates at very convenient place. However, the amenities show very low quality. The gym doesn't even have dumbbells, and basically it is just a decoration place with all those machines. I rarely see people use it when I pass by. The apt is not too old. However, a lot of the materials in the apt are under very concern conditions. A lot of rotten wood piece in bathroom although they were apparently painted before moving in. The wall behind toilet keeps growing molds which means there might be a leakage behind the wall. A lot of the appliances broke during using, although the maintenance people responded to the request rapidly they failed to fix the issue immediately. In short I would not consider live here again next year.

                                              Very Nice Place To Stay

                                              I have lived here since June 2022 and it's October 2024 at the time of this review. I haven't had any issues with the staff. They're very professional and attentive to any needs or concerns I may have. I work from home and my building is extremely quiet. I would also like to thank Mr. Abdou and Mr. Will, the maintenance team. They go out of their way to speak and to ask, "am I doing ok," and "is everything working properly in my apartment." The few times I have requested any maintenance for my unit, they showed up within the same day. The two gentlemen has even offered to take my trash to the compactor because they were heading in that direction. I definitely wanted to give them both a shout out and my sincere gratitude.

                                                La convivencia es muy dificil, no hay respeto por parte de los vecinos y a pesar de enviar quejas a la administracion no se toman acciones. Los parqueaderos se utilizan para beber alcohol y escuchar musica a alto volumen, las personas hacen fiestas a menudo en los balcones y no se puede dormir.
