This was the worst decision of my life to move here, I recently was accused of verbally abusing and threading maintenance in the privacy of my home but instead I was washing dishes when they arrived. Instead of getting the correct story on what happens the next day I received an email from the leasing office stating that all of my belongs and myself needed to be out of the unit and off of the property by 5 pm the following day. I was also told that maintenance is never known to lie and they don't believe a word I was telling them. Also if I'm not gone they are taking me to court.

Been good so far. The only compliant is the stray cats. I believe someone has been feeding them. The gates weren't working for the first 5 months I was living here, but they have been running smooth for a bit now.

Very fast maintenance service, they came to fix anything within two business days after I file a maintenance request. Overall quality of apartment is 4.7 only if you are in the renovated units. Some units are very old.

Staff were friendly , helpful, sincere and professional knowledgeable about their work. The willingness to get things do was at the top for me. Most importantly they work according to my speed and things wet done in a timely manner.

Love how clean the property is. It had two pools which is great and seems quiet. The property seems secure and diverse. The units are spacious and give natural sunlight. I would enjoy living here at MAA.

The move in process was simple. As long as you have all of your documents in order you can move in within 30 days. Calling leasing office is a task it's easier to walk in and the staff is very helpful. The apartments are nice and the neighborhood is quiet and clean.

Don’t Move Here unless you like roaches,stray cats,apartment break ins,car break ins,leaking ceilings,leaking hvac units,mold,broken front gate,electrical issues, plumbing issues and low quality of life than this is the place for you.This is a multi-billion dollar slumlord who only care about the money not the residents.Move somewhere else,it’s not worth it.

I have had multiple issues with MAA Not So Pleasant Hill. Such as, the security gates have never worked, the fitness center is not open 24 hrs day, the beautiful front pool is poorly maintained and usually locked for pretend cleaning that takes 4 weeks during the summer months. This place has absolutely no concern for residents, just the rent. The mail is stolen and police activity is frequent.

A nice apartment complex conveniently located for all the necessary facilities such as banks, groceries, restaurants, various shops. While the whole complex seems to be maintained well (inside & outside), it lacks in active communication with the residents as well as among the residents due to the poor and stubborn management. It would be ideal to establish an active communication channel between the residents and the management office under the supervision of the corporate office.

So far it's been lovely. It's a quiet community, everyone has been friendly and any problems I've had have been promptly addressed and fixed! So far I'm really enjoying it here. My only complaint is the amount of spiders I see around the complex, but I'm not sure if that's something the complex can necessarily control, haha.

POOR SERVICE, POOR COMMUNICATION, TONS OF DEAD PEST IN THE HALLWAY, NOISY NEIBORHOOD. IF YOU MOVE TO THIS APARTMENT, YOU CAN WAKE UP AT 4AM DURING THE WEEKDAYS DUE TO THE MUSIC SOUNDS FROM INSANE NEIBORHOOD. YOU CAN ALSO SEE THE DEAD ROACH IN THE HALLWAY EVERYTIME YOU ENTER THE APARTMENT AND NO ONE CLEANS IT. THE CODE I PROVIDED FROM THE LEASING OFFICE WHEN I FIRST MOVED IN DOESN'T WORK WHEN I TRY TO ENTER THE FRONT GATE. WHAT A MESS

It's nice but very expensive to live here when I moved here my rent was $1,100 now I'm paying $ 1,790:00 for a one bedroom apartment this is crazy I need to move I will not be renting here when lease expires unless the rent goes back down to a reasonable price

This complex has been alright to live in. I had a lot of issues when I first moved in, especially with the pest control folks (they were pretty invasive and intimidated my dog, which I caught on camera). The maintenance continues to be inconsistent and so does billing. I was charged double for water one month and I live alone.

Quiet and peaceful. There are not a lot of people outside. I like that internet is included in the lease. However you can't opt out of things, which doesn't allow choice or say in the matter. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

All that glitters is not gold

The apartment complex has A LOT of room for improvement. Cats: There are so many feral cats on the property and no one does anything about them. A kid was scratched at the playground by a cat but nothing was done by the community or animal control . Common Areas: you are charged an additional $18 every month as a community fee and no one has an explanation where that goes. The common areas are always terrible looking (see pictures) and there is always trash in the parking lot. The parking lots are also very unregulated as there are tons of broken down or abandoned looking cars parked here. They do keep the grass cut and the bushes trimmed. Maintenance: maintenance is very inconsistent. Sometimes it takes a day to get a work order completed, sometimes it takes a month. Sometimes they just cancel the work order and dont tell you. (Please see pictures). When the work orders are completed, the work is shoddy and half-done or rigged, not repaired. Safety: they have installed lights in the breezeways which actually helped a lot with feeling safe. There are still cars being broken into though but I guess that comes with urban city life. The courtesy officers NEVER respond to calls placed on the courtesy officer line. Of course the gates are always broken but the odd thing here is the exit gate breaks often which sorta traps you inside the community. Front office: NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE. When you talk to them in-person, no one ever has an answer for you. Even in the most minor things. They’re all very nice but not very helpful. Misc: the water gets shut off without prior notice about once a week for some emergency or another. There are two swimming pools. They told me I would be right next to the back pool but they didn’t tell me that the back pool would be perpetually closed for maintenance for all but about 3 weeks a year. Overall this place is a mess but the rent used to be affordable. With the rent going up very high here, you can definitely do better elsewhere
