Honestly, this is the best apartment community that I've ever lived in. Maintenance, specifically speaking, Ms. Tina, is AMAZING! She's more-so family at this point. The property manager, Taia is incredible. Since day 1, she has shown the best hospitality and it's soo warm and welcoming each time we speak. The community is just amazing.

Resident for five years and remain satisfied with Halston McDonough. Upkeep is stellar and maintenance requests are handled promptly and effectively. Location is situated away from most commercial businesses which results in quietness, although both access roads (Hwy's 42 and 155) are busy and exiting can be tricky (patience required).

Unhappy at the moment. For what I pay for rent and residents who live near me continue smoke cigarettes coming through my vents and causing health issues. Breeze way and stairs have debris and should be blown off. I moved from a house of 17 years thinking this apartment community would be a great experience and it's not.

My stay at Halston McDonough has been excellent. The front office staff is extremely helpful and responsive.The property is very well maintained. Maintenance was timely in an issue that I had with my AC

The area and apartments are nice. There are restaurants and shopping centers in less the five miles from the apartments. Me and my parents moved to Georgia almost two years ago. We love the area. Thank you

Overall the experience has been okay. We haven't had very many issues with the apartment itself but the people that work in the leasing office don't have great customer service skills and they aren't looking out for their residents. They use our parking lot for their equipment and they allow service workers to leave broken or unused appliances in our walkways for days. They shut down the pool for several weeks right before summer started and they take literal weeks to fix our gates when they break; which they breakdown at least every three weeks.

Horrible. My vehicle has been broken into twice. The office continues to leave the gate open, which is when crime happens. I had to break my lease because my family is not safe here. The front office could care less about what's happening. They emailed me about a noise complaint, which wasn't even for me. I asked them to follow up, nothing. I've been stuck inside and outside of the complex because the gate has stopped working. I emailed corporate, no response. They don't clean the breezeways. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMMUNITY.

The first year that I moved here, I had an unexplained ant and spider problem. Issues with car break ins has left me feeling unsafe to stay here. The gate is broken and left open half of the time and the pool is closed at the beginning of summer for renovations. Idk what I'm paying all this rent for when the amenities don't work or not usable.

BEWARE!!!
I’ve been living in Halston McDonough for 8 mths and I give it a 3/5 review. The complex is pretty clean for the most part,,with the exception of the breezeway and stairs…sometimes I smell dog urine. The units are pretty big, and some are upgraded, which I think all should be because of what the rent prices are. The downside is the rash of car breaks-ins in the complex and the property management staff doesn’t seemed very concerned. They are quick to send emails about things that are unimportant, but when it comes to the residents safety, I assume it’s not on the top of their list. I’ve lived in Henry County for 25 years and it has definitely changed over the last 5-8 yrs. It was one of the nicer and safe counties to live in throughout Metro Atlanta, but it’s not so safe anymore. I will NOT be renewing my lease in this complex.

Upkeep of the apartment grounds could be better. As well as the apartments themselves. The maintenance staff is very good and professional. There have been several issues with the gates over the last year. Several times the call box to get buzzed in wasn't working, and one night the call box or key card wasn't. This was 11 o'clock at night and raining. I had to leave my vehicle until the next morning and walk to my apartment in the back.

The experience with this complex has been great to say the least. The communication is good and the office is on top of all the things I have had problems with. The rent is way too expensive especially with inflation.

I wish the trash service was optional do not use but have to pay every month for the service. Also with rent increase per renewal should be a way for previous resident rent to not increase that much. Also would like more activities for residents.

a big change in this community since i 1st moved here. people dont care no more. always breaking the front gate, leaving trash around the area or at the trash dump with out cleaning behind themselves.

Overall, the complex is nice and quiet. It is frustrating that our gate has been broken for 2 months now. I understand it happens periodically because people run through it, but I moved here specifically for the safety factor of the gate. They do keep the complex clean and usually, they are quick to answer maintenance requests. However, the people in the front office can be hard to get on the phone and sometimes they are rude as well.

I like the location. Quick service for work orders . We need better lighting it out dated and very dim . my flooring need replacing due to a water leak years ago carpet coming from nails in flooring. need cork toilets just touch up from wear for years of being here . The walk-in access bothers me because I'm right at the front of the building and you can walk right up to my back door it's a bit scary .I love the size of the rooms and the layout is okay. Great closet space just no outside storage space. Friendly staff and maintenance is amazing.

It's a nice and quiet community. Very spacious apartment units, well maintained, with a great maintenance and office staff. If the upgrade the units with new kitchens, bathrooms and floors, the would be A+ units. Most are outdated but still well maintained.

Overall we have been satisfied. We have new management this year and they've been repairing and renovating and keeping the area pretty well maintained. I am loving the garbage pick up service on the week days!

My experience at the community has been pleasant. No issues at all. The community's landscaping is well kept, clean and the staff is always nice and courteous. The community is quiet and very peaceful.

This apartment complex is absolutely trash. They ask 2000$ or more for a ------ trashy complex. -------- children, trashy ------ parents, drug slinging at the pool, trash over flowing the dumps, the staff is full of idiots who can't form an intelligent thought between them all.

We've lived here for over a year now. The neighbor for the most part is quiet and safe. The maintenance staff has been absolutely wonderfully. The front office staff and very nice and polite on the surface but some lack the knowledge and follow up on important situations. My only concern is the price compared to the quality and upkeep of the community.

I've had a really nice experience here. Everyone has been so nice and understanding. I was running a bit late to my check-in, and I had to go back and get a different form of payment since I misread the information form they sent out. But they were patient and worked with me to get my information updated and ready to move in.

I have been living at Carrington Green for 2 years now. I'm glad that I did. The staffs are very friendly and professional. I feel very safe in this community. The community is quiet and well kept. I'll definitely encourage you to move here. It's worth the money you paying for.

I've been so thrilled with this apartment complex. It's fairly quiet, very safe, and has great amenities that are kept up well. My wife and I love the layout of our unit, and the management is always responsive and on top of things. Great place to live!

Me personally this community rush home after a long day at work. Neighbors are respectful and caring. It take less them 24hr to a work Oder to be completed . The parking lot is always nice and clean.Will recommend this community to my friend.
