It is a quiet area. Never lived in an apartment before. I heard a lit of negatives in regards to apt. Living. Not mt experiance here. The only disapointment has been that they do not offer incentives to good, long term tenants. It would behove them to do so. The design of the dryer vent placement was a huge mistake. They are vented into the hallways- there is constantly gross looking lint in those areas. They can't move the vents, so these areas- being the first immpession views that any potential renter sees should be especially maintained. Either by blowing or hosing down regularly. My building hallway has only been addressed ince in the past 16 months. It is an embarrassment.

Colonial Grand at Godley Lake is a pleasant apartment community, conveniently located in "new" Pooler, within walking distance from numerous restaurants, two movie theaters, water park, bowling alley, you name it. It takes only 15 minutes to get to Savannah / Hilton Head International Airport. And ... there is a bus stop right in front of the community, which will get you downtown Savannah in about half hour if you don't care to drive. For your convenience, each bus is equipped with a bike rack. The CGGL apartment community features a pool with grill area, a well equipped gym, an abundance of green spaces, playground for kids, walking paths around a large lagoon shared with a sister apartment community, car wash and vacuum station, and a high number of garage units to supplement vast outdoor parking opportunities around each apartment building. The community is pet friendly. Residents of the community include recent college graduates, "expats" from other states relocating to Savannah as well as a number of young families. During my almost two years at CGGL, my experience has been consistently positive: respectful and friendly neighbors, accommodating staff and plenty of possibilities to relax after a busy day. While there are more economic apartment opportunities in the Savannah area, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend that you consider Colonial Grand at Godley Lake as your next home, especially if you care about available amenities, a positive "community feel" and friendly CGGL office staff, who are focused on supporting your positive experience. The staff are friendly. The maintenance guys are amazing and fast. I like that it's quiet around here. Love my neighbors. I've used the gym quite a bit and I love it. The pool is nice but I'd like to have more than two guests. The pest control should spray inside apartments without having to request them every month since I pay on time every month. No complaints. I will be renewing my lease.

Safe, clean, well landscaped and very friendly staff. The only complaint would be for the lack of assigned parking. Otherwise no complaints. Close to shopping and to airport. Easy commute to work and to downtown Savannah.

This is the most amazing apartment complex I have ever seen! My son has lived here about six months and loves everything about the complex! I visit from out of town about every six weeks and it is like coming to a luxurious resort everytime. He has an incredible view from his huge screened porch overlooking a gorgeous lake and the clubhouse and pool are absolutely beautiful! The grounds are impeccable and the maintenance crew are friendly and any problem is corrected immediately. The office staff is super friendly and personable and attentive to every detail. They are wonderful caring people and it's almost like they're family! I am so glad my son found this amazing place to live that is beautiful and safe and every time I come to visit it's like being on a vacation at a first rate resort! I love this place and cannot say enough good things about it. Colonial Grand at Godley Station is definitely the best place to live!

The office staff are very accommodating and helpful. They seem to know everyone by name and keep up with everyone. The gym has everything you need and the pool area is well kept. I love that they are so dog friendly!

I would not recommend these apartments to anyone breezeways are filthy asked about how octen are they cleaned have not been cleaned yet EXCUSES EXCUSES. Maintenance response is very quick. Also there is a need for EXTERMINATOR SPIDERS.

Great customer service staff always friendly and help out when needed.But there should be more of an rotation of spraying for spiders,bugs...other than that I enjoy living here it's quiet nice and you have everything you need around you like restaurants movies stores

Great area and staff is excellent! Love the community as there is a pond and a nice swimming pool. They also have grills all over the property. It's a great community right near the heart of pooler. The mall and anything you need is walking distance.

It's been a good experience staying at the apartment. I have not had any bad experiences while living here and the noise from my neighbors has been nonexistent. The overall outside appearance could be improved. The grounds people could do a much better job

Colonial Grand at Godley Station is a great community with great staff! They treats us like family and is there for us anytime we need it! The community and facilities exceeded our expectations! What won us over was that they are not only a pet friendly community but they have no breed or weight restrictions! As a pit bull owner, that is the biggest struggle we faced during our search. We definitely chose the right place for our family!

Although I have only lived in this community for 4 months, the community as a whole is wonderful. Love the fact that they don't have a breed or weight restrictions for dogs. The office and maintenance employees are great(although they need to hire more maintenance personnel because 3 is NOT enough). The only issue I have had is the neighbor upstairs that lack respect of living in an apartment. Yes, noise is going to happen but it shouldn't be continuing until single night!!!

Very nice and friendly. We are really liking the neighborhood! The staff are friendly and very fast with responses. The local food and entertainment options are very close and we of course enjoy living in a friendly atmosphere.

Apartment complex is clean and has really nice amenities. Pool is big and always clean and conveniently located right behind the club house and also next to the gym. Rent is affordable compared to surrounding areas.

I had a huge smile on my face at move in. I'm very picky and clean. It was exactly how I pictured it would be, maybe even better than expected just going by the model. I went from paper thin walls, floors and ceilings to a place that I hardly ever hear any noise except an occasional bark. It's so nice and peaceful! It really feels like a community of homes with friendly and nice neighbors and not like the college apartment I just moved from. Very pretty and scenic and has everything you could need or want within a mile or less of the complex! I really loved the screened in porches because I have a Parakeet and he loves having windows open to talk and listen to the birds outside, so it's really nice to have a safe space he can fly around like he's outside without me worrying he'll get loose. I did have problems with my AC the first weekend I moved in, but it was fixed very quickly and they let me have a portable until that Monday to get me through. However, a way to move things to top floors more easily would be nice. I had closed in floors like a hotel at my last apartment with an elevator, but I was only on the second floor. I live alone now and living on the third floor with this heat and being as small as I am has been really difficult getting everything up to my apartment. Otherwise I'm very happy to call this place my new home(:

From my experience viewing the apartment I wanted to moving into that same apartment, my transaction with Colonial Grande at Godley Station has been easy and mostly stress free. The staff has always been available and willing to help answer any questions or solve any problems I may have. Also, they have the best salt water infinity pool EVER.

For the size of the apartment, location and price colonial station can't be beat. After looking at over 10 other locations, this proved to be the best option for what I was looking for. Spacious rooms with large closets space, nice kitchen appliances and washer and dryer included, this has everything a renter not wanting to fork out a load of cash can get

Gate issues all the time! Half the time they are open due to this reason or that. I used proper procedure and the gate closed on my car. I was told by the front office to get a quote and they would forward to corporate. I did that, and then I was told I needed a second quote. Did that and then Heather from MAA in Atlanta in the Insurance and Risk Dept called to find out what happened. The bottom line is she told me we have an addendum in our lease, section 7 stating that anything mechanical or electronic is subject to malfunction and they are not liable for damage/loss from incidents related to access gates. Seriously? The gate caused $1600 worth of damage to my 4 month old car and they arent liable. I've never seen a company more inept. Last week we could barely get out because only 1 side of the exit gate would open. We have several emails regarding issues with the gate! I have lived in several gated communities and I work in a gated area. I have never seen such. I am definitely appealing their denial of my claim. And needless to say, will not be renewing my lease. Residents beware.... if the gate clothes on you or your have an "addendum" that excuses them. My advice! Remove the gate since y'all can't get it working right! This is only one of my complaints about this property. Work orders are put in, then closed without being complete. Only to be told they had to close them. Huh? Parking is a nightmare! Neighbors who are too lazy to walk park on the curb making it a nightmare to navigate around them. We complain, nothing happens! Get it together!

The office staffs is really helpful, and they don't push anything on you. The move in process was virtually painless. The apartment was in good shape when we got here and the few issues there were are minor. Very pleased overall.

The apartment attends us for our needs perfectly. Staff hs been really really helpful to me this 2 years and I highly recommend them. The property is beautiful and well taken care of, and everytime I have something wrong at the apartment they don?t take more than a few hours to help me out.

I've been a resident for 3 years now and never had a problem, The maintenance guys are nice and friendly and if you have a problem which has only been twice since living here they fix it right away. Besides having a few noisy tenants and the dark park smell once of crap while I was using the car care facility, this place a great place to live. Yes people always complain about the gate never working but that wouldn't be the case if 9/10 ties someone didn't use their car as a ram and push it open to break it. Its a closed community for a reason. I did notice the walk in gates are not locked. A big shout out to Katie for always going above and beyond to help me out when the need arises.

We totally enjoyed living at Colonial Grand at Godley Station. The staff there is extremely friendly and hard working. Our A/C system went down and it was up and running in less than 30 minutes. It seems the maintenance workers have expertise in all areas. The only problem as noted in the noise section is that we were bottom floor and I believe the one little girl that lived above us was a HEAVY walker. We could also hear our neighbors dogs across the hall barking when someone walked by. I believe though that was caused by the door having a gap on the left side. We could see the hall lights in our apartment at night when we turned off the living room lights. I loved the little screened in patio area, that you could sit out in and not be disturbed by bugs. If we had large packages delivered, they were sent to the office in a secure location so we never had to worry. We've moved back to our home in Texas but will miss our own little slice of heaven in Pooler.

Been living here for 5yrs . It was ok at first now that I'm in the bldg by the pool it's awful. No parking , kids and some adults in breezeway talking loud as if they don't have neighbors . I had a package left at my door over the weekend I came back from out of town and one of my packages was open. Believe one of the kids opened it and adult closed the box back. Called the leasing office about this matter spoke with Christian . Wasn't helpful at all . Katie is awesome !! But can't wait until March my lease is up !!!!
