We move into Colonial Grand at Godley Lakes in 2016 and stayed thru mid 2017. When we moved in the Manager Jen (which is still there) was friendly , knowledgeable , very much a people person. Resolved issues throughout the apartment complex efficiently! I would say we became friends and had spoken with here many times basically in passing, she was always very helpful and pleasant. However ,when we moved in there were some issues the lighting had intermittent problems. ,The fan light would seem to blow after about a month but when you flicked it on or off a few time is would stay on and sometimes not . The track lighting in kitchen would also blow every couple of months , hall way light never worked and closet light would go out as well about every other month. Also when we moved in 3 of the blinds had small bends in them no big deal , we felt these thing were either minuscule intermittent no big issue. Plus we worked a lot , had a dog and didn't want a maintenance guy to come in while we weren't there in fear the dog would get out. Again so we lived with it and didn't report it. 2017 we rented for another 6 mth , we planned to buy a house. And during that time Jen had hired an Asst mgr ( Lauren) who was very matter of fact, not a people person , even to the point of being quiet rude and stand offish. Had a few conversations with her in passing as well .It was like I was talking to a cold stone wall! When it came time for the walk thru we did that with Marisa which is also very pleasant, great people person and easy going! Very thorough i might add. After the walk through was completed I signed the pasper work , Marisa noted we need to change the cook top trays which amounted to about $15 and get carpet cleaned the Apt complex offered that service hat for $69.. reasonable. The first walk through was completed about a month prior before the lease was up. We had closed and moved into our new house. In the next months' time frame we went back to the Apt and did some final cleaning.. pretty much left it spotless! The others renters that I have witnessed moving out many left their apt trashed! We took pride as we didn't want to be seen in that light ! Approx a month later (Lauren) did a second walk through even though I signed a walk through paper already stating what needed to be done , she charge us for 3 blinds, light bulbs which amounted to about $50. And because they kept the electric and other incidentals in the rears it ate up all our $250 deposit so much so we owed them money! When we confronted Lauren with this she stated the original walk thru paper was not a legal document and basically said it was our responsibility quoting the lease agreement, and that's just the way it is! After that all communication was ended despite attempted call backs. I even called the corporate office and left message ... no response! Not that this has any precedents in the matter. But would like to add we were never late on rent, usually early! We cause no disturbances and always had a friendly open relationship with management! Until Lauren was hired! Lesson all issues no matter how small have notated Colonial Grand at Godley Lakes will give you no quarter if you don't! Very dissatisfied!

Nice facility and we'll kept, people are friendly and helpful, good location to live. Plenty of amenities on site to chose from. Large apartment home with updated appliances and carpet, but mostly a nice area with nice people

My time here has been horrible. The lake smells rancid and bugs are horrible. The pool is so crowded with nonresidents and people smoking pot, I don't want to go on my weekends off. People that don't live here just come through the broken gates. The added fees are way over what they said my rent would be and Management is so rude. Also, parking is awful!! Nobody is considerate and park wherever they want, blocking you in. It is so noisey, walls are super thin. Don't rent at this place. Poop is all over, they don't pick up anything! I hear gun shots and sseen drug deals going on. Cops are always in the complex. Do not feel safe

I love my apartment and could not be happier with the location, amenities, and overall quality for what I pay. I haven't had any issues whatsoever and don't foresee any problems in the future. Highly recommended.

The management staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Maintenance team is prompt and thorough. I appreciate the location as it is within walking distance to everything that you may want to do: movies, bowling, skating, eating and shopping.

It is quiet and have no complaints. I'm glad that we are within a short distance from work, shopping, and restaurants. I have no noise complaints other than I would volunteer to tighten the ladies headboard above my apartment. You hear it only every 30 days though. Hahahaha. It's very loose.

Staff in the past has been childish about pool and closing due to negligence instead of punishing individuals. Car was is also clogged and needs repair. This is something that is being paid for and should be kept in good repair for the residents. It has been in this condition over a month.

Quality construction, well kept grounds, safe area, prompt service & maintenance, great area locally, great pool, the best onsite gym locally, low utility bills, excellent and friendly staff - highly recommended

Community is nice but I had an bad experience with one of the maintenance mangers he got into an altercation with my guess that was uncalled for he threatened to call the cops on me and our guess claiming we was trespassing but I live there. It was a bad experience and I'm not sure if I want to renew my lease

Everything is great the apartment was more than I expected . The people here are friendly , first week I had a flat tire and some guy pulled up out of nowhere and changed my tire in less than a minute . The location is the best part , I don't have to go far for anything. Maintenance is always around , if you have a problem just put in a request and its solved the next day .

Moving here was not a good experience. My apartment was literally falling apart from within. I had to many issues to report in a 6 month time span that feel should have been taken care of before hand. For the amount of money that is paid in rent the apartment is not worth it. I expected a lot more than what is really given as an amenity.

The leasing manager ----------- is very rude and unprofessional. What manager tells you she is going to hang up in your face? I got fined for putting a box outside of the trash compactor when there is a sign that says household trash only. What's the point in having a trash service charge if you can't put your trash out there? People put boxes and other items out there all the time. They're always complaining about something, you put a work order in, it doesn't get done until days later, dogs poop all over the grass, the parking is terrible, and the breezeways and stairs are filthy. When my lease is up, I will be moving asap. I do not recommend this apartment complex to anyone.

I'm a four-year resident at Colonial Grand at Godley Station. I have found the management to be extremely helpful, especially Katie, the assistant property manager, and Charlie in maintenance. They always go out of their way to help with anything I call the office about.

I've enjoyed living in this community for almost three years now. Anytime I've had an issue, I put in a service request and it is taken care of in a timely manner. Rent is reasonable considering Pooler is a growing area.

Wonderful place to live. The facilities are beautiful. I enjoy using the pool whenever I get the chance. My dog and I love walking by the lake and enjoying the decks over the water to relax and enjoy the sun.

This property is not worth the headache and money that you'll shell out living here. Management and staff is very nice to you, making false promises and misleading statements, until you sign your lease. Then their true colors come out. The complex is covered in animal feces and excessively noisy, although management does not bother to actually investigate anything rather write an easy blanket statement so they don't have to do any actual work. They are slow to complete work orders. Apartment was dirty and shabbily painted at move in and despite asking for repairs never received it . My husband complained to both corporate and local management and was completely ignored despite communication by phone, fax and email, but they were sure to make repeated attempts to collect money for a bogus cleanup fee despite keeping our deposit. Go anywhere else. You'd be better off at a Motel 6, at least there you know you'll get what you pay for.

This place is noisey, dirty, trash all over. Major problem with dog poop being left behind and duck poop all over the sidewalk by the lake. The dog park is never cleaned out and just mowed over. Tenants use it as a dog potty and do not pick up, also no water source for dogs. The apartments have cheap carpet, cheap and ugly counter tops. Prowlers walk in off the street and hide around especially at the pool on wknds. We've had flashers and stalkers even of children. No community events. No repairs are done or clean up. The fountain in the front has never worked, gates always broken, mailboxes broken, pool broken, gym broken, fountains in nasty lagoons are always broken, sprinklers broken and we have no plants. Notices are never given from the office about broken items and complaints are laughed about. I got yelled at by the Property Manager for the survey I filled out. The value of this dump is not worth your money! There are much better places in Pooler. Don't let the lake drag you in, it's toxic and stinks bad on some days! Fish are dead this year, we don't know what they did to the lake to kill the fish? Can't get in the pool on wknds for all the street people. We are dying to move!

The management team here is one of the best! Attentive, personable and helpful! Moving to Savannah from another state was hard but they made me feel like I was home. I love my view of the lake and can't wait until the fountain is repaired. I like to open the French doors in the morning and listen because it's like I'm on vacation everyday.

Great community overall. Any time that a request is put in for service the staff and maintenance team are always prompt and the service is always in a timely manner. The leasing office staff are always friendly and willing to help with any questions or answers.

Okay complex to live in, no major complaints. Apartments that were recently renovated have very cheap appliances and cheap upgrades, so things break often. However, maintenance is very nice and always responds quickly.

I have been through a couple of different management changes, and I must say that the new management is the best that we have had so far. They always seem to be looking out for their residents and do their best to accommodate any issues that we may have.

No major complaints. Neighbors upstairs need to be more mindful of those below them. They sound as if they are going to come through the roof. Gates are broken frequently. Other than these, my experience has been okay.

Front staff is courteous and service is prompt. I enjoy the apartment. Balconies are private but you can hear other conversations quite clearly. Trash and mail is clean and easy to acess. Painting and cosmetic repairs to walls pretty sloppy between rentals
