I have lived here for about 8 months and has not been a good experience. First of all, if you want a quiet apt complex, here is not the place. I have had to call the police about 5 times per the direction of the property manager, which was the after office hours policy. The neighbor in question's music was so loud it would rattle my living room sofa. When I asked about changing to a different unit, I was advised there would be a transfer fee of $350. Also, there are many homeless cats that roam the property eating out of trashcans, etc. This is a heartbreaking thing and residents should not have to see this on the property. I do not consider this clean and sanitary conditions. On a better note, maintenance staff is prompt and efficient. Overall, would only recommend this property to someone who does not mind loud conditions. The tenants here are very low quality people. They vandalized the pool and pool key system over the july 4th holiday and now the pool privledge has been denied to everyone. If you want a higher standard of living, do not move here. Rent has hiked $62 after one year.

    My stay was ok nothing special. The price of the apartment was completely outrageous if I would have had more time to find a place to stay I would have just rented a house. And for the price the apartment was disgusting I had to ask 3 times to get a huge hole in the carpet fixed and a stain out. My desk was broke and there are still hole in the linoleum floor. Completely unsatisfactory for a one bedroom one bath apartment.

      Recently,I sent a request to have all the burnt out bulbs on the front of the garages changed. Almost all of the bulbs were out. It took a while to see the garages lit up again, but I know this wasn't an emergency. - Overall, I'm pleased with the apartment complex and the staff is superb. - I have noisy neighbors that drive me nuts sometimes. This complex has had all sorts of problems with the secured gates and with the trash bin and that bothers me. When the gates don't work, we should get a discount on our rent because we pay extra to live in a gated community.

        I have no problems with the office staff and maintenance staff.Unfortunately the problems are with the other tenants in the community. They let their children run wild and the tenants above us are the loudest people I have ever heard. It sounds like they are throwing furniture and stomping on the floor at least once a day. I am afraid some day they will break thru the ceiling.

            Everyone here is very helpful and I haven't had any problems having maintenance requests taken care of. What I really don't appreciate is being annoyed by email after email after email forcing me to do a survey every time maintenance comes by.

              The apartment complex should be happy with all the late fees that I've paid to them. Unfortunately the way I get paid, sometimes it's after the 1st.....plus if the website would allow more than one payment by an apartment. Instead of just one person doing it....cuz if their is ever a dispute with roommates then each of them has proof of paying instead of it showing one payment. And sometimes roommates like to pay when they have the money so they should be able to go ahead and pay if they want

                Cassie in the office has such a warm welcoming bubbly personality that puts you at ease when looking for a new home.                   Colonial Grand is a beautiful property with loads of amenities. The staff is fun, professional, and caring!! The location is one of the best draws to CG....restaurants, shopping, access to major thoroughfares....all within minutes of my apartment. This is a great place to call home!

                          Since I have moved into this community, it has been great! The staff is very friendly and the neighborhood is very quiet. I have not had any complaints thus far. I put in a maintenance order and the maintenance staff came the same day to complete the order.

                            This community is ok but based on what tenants pay to live here is ridiculous. Tenants are paying for location only! The community is in the center of everything and that's the good part about living here. The staff here is nice & friendly. The bad things there is not enough parking for tenants. There's dog poop everywhere, toys & bicycles. The maintenance guys try to keep it clean but it's only so much they can do.

                              Nice quite place for the most part, have not had any issues with neighbors. I lived here in the past for 4 years and moved away for a year and came right back. The office staff is always friendly and willing to help.

                                      It's a great place to live the maintenance oare on there toes. When I turn in a work order it get taking care of the same day, the office personal are nice and helpful to there residents.                                             DO NOT MOVE INTO THESE APARTMENTS!! EVER!!!! Lived here for a year. Management staff is awful, maintenance staff is worse. Moved in with stained carpets, dead roaches and dirt on the kitchen counters, dirty footprints in bathrooms, and a malfunctioning A/C unit after multiple complaints. Eventually, the A/C flooded the laundry room and soaked into the carpets near the entrance and caused black mold to grow in the laundry room. After more complaints, a week later, they finally had to get the A/C and the mold professionally taken care of. Now at the end of the lease, despite pictures taken upon move in proving the stained carpets, mess left for us, and the management staff knowing there is water damage in the carpet padding, they refused to replace the carpet for us as well as for the future tenants. They demanded that we pay to get the carpets professionally cleaned after all that! It clearly did not do us any good or seem to matter to the management staff, but take pictures of every inch of every room because at the end of this lease all the problems you moved in to that you thought weren't a big deal, will be pinned on you, but will help if you decide to push the issue further and take them to court. By the way, you will be charged for any damages or cleaning required, which comes out of your pocket....not your deposit. The best advice that I could give to save you the stress, is to never move into these apartments.

                                                Great community! Staff are friendly and helpful, landscaping and architecture are comfortable and well maintained. There could be better lighting in the parking areas and wide angle mirrors mounted near tight turns in access roads. Lightbulbs in kitchens should produce less heat and last longer.

                                                  It is a nice place and nice experience. I like the apartment but I can hear all the noise from my upstairs neighbors which is kind of annoying b/c this is all night and day. And my dishwasher overflowed all over the floor which was also annoying. But other than that this place is pretty amazing.
