Amazing staff. My husband and I moved in to our apartment July 16th and have had no problems since. The community is extremely friendly as well as the staff! We knew right away this is the type of community we wanted to live in and possibly raise a child in someday or at least while we're both stationed here in Georgia and South Carolina.

The front Desk/ Leasing Office is TERRIBLE at picking up the phone and getting back to the people who live in the apartment complex. We called about 4-5 different times on DIFFERENT days and had no one get back to us or come out to help us with out problem until we made a fuss about it. Very UNHAPPY with the timeframe in which the employees in the leasing office/ front office get back to a person on important situations.

The area is great because it is closed to shopping, eatery basically. Not far from my work. The common area is clean and the office staffs are very polite and courteous. There were some noises upstairs which i did not report, and someone stole part of my car while parked there. otherwise, everything is decent. great place to live!!!!

Enjoy living here. The only problem is parking. As much as we pay to stay here we should have at least 1 assigned parking spot. Area is very convenient to everything shopping, schools, airport you name it Pooler has it

Our move in experience was wonderful and has continued to be wonderful these past few days! The ONLY issue we are having is with parking. It is very difficult finding a parking space in front of our building and for the past three nights we have had to park two or three buildings down

Cassie at the front office was fantastic. She greeted both us and our dog by name when we arrived. She was extremely helpful and answered all our questions. She has made the move in experience seamless and we feel very welcome in this new home.

Very professional. Not quick about returning phone calls, but they do call back. Very friendly staff and maintenance. This has been my favorite apartment to live in compared to the others that I have lived at. Very nice pool and gym. I rate an A!

After being a home owner for 40 plus years I found it to be a pleasure living here in an apartment. The staff are friendly and always ready to assist. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained and the amenties (pool, exercise room) are great.

I'm very displeased with my apartment and the office staff. I had to hire someone to clean my carpets because yet were filthy when I moved in. I was accused of having a person living with me because I hired a dog sitter while I was on vacation. The list goes on. If you are interested feel free to contact me. I will be relieved once my contract is up.

So far so good in the past 2 weeks that I have lived here. The maintenance requests were handled lightning quick and the entire move in process was pretty straightforward and simple. Heres to hoping the rest of my time here will be the same. If so I will consider myself lucky :)

The office staff and maintenance are always professional, courteous and I am always treated with Southern Hospitality. My concerns are addressed in a timely manner. As far as apartment complexes go Godley Lake is a very pleasant place to live.

There are shops, restaurants, a movie theater, and hair and nail care in walking distance of this complex. We have a waterpark and large outlet mall coming soon. We are also near beaches. We have a nice pool and fitness center, The office and maintenance staff at this complex are wonderful. They are friendly and very efficient.

This company has a lease clause which requires a 60-day notice to vacate even if you sign a lease with an end date. They say the lease rolls into a "month-to-month" lease when your lease is over, which was never my intention upon signing it. It is a way to extort more money from the tenant even after the lease ends. They also hiked the rent up $300 per month for this tactic so they receive get an extra bonus. Previously, every lease I read and signed required I move out by the end date and that was the final step in the transaction. This is apparently the way they do business, as I have talked to other people this has happened to. Please beware any Colonial Village or MAA property. Also, this property has changed the billing of utilities during the lease, removed services and added them back in as a separate charge, does not have proper drainage (resulting in swampy grounds year round) and is flea-ridden. I can hear my neighbors doing the deed upstairs everyday. The skating rink right next door plays very loud music at all hours of the night. They are building a water park right next to it also. Please do not move into this apartment complex.

Terrible place. Priced 20% higher than the average within a 15 mile radius, the buildilngs and breezeways are filthy and full of vermin. The grounds aren't maintaned well, the bulidings leak and have poor insulation. My average electric bill for a ~1150 square foot apartment is over $400 during the summer, even though the airconditioner fails to get the apartment under 82 degrees. Parking is terrible, any time I have to work late, I end up having to walk very far from my parking spot. The ordinances about trash in the breezeway aren't enforced and often there is a smell of decaying refuse about the grounds. On top of it all, this place is run by a corporation that has forgotten who their customer is. My grandfather died while I was out of town for a family visit, and I ended up staying a week over for the funeral. I called the front office several days in advance, and they said there was "nothing they could do", and since I wasn't in town to make the payment (they refused to accept personal check via overnight mail) they charged me 2 late fees, and there was an embarassing eviction notice on my door when I got back. Also, forget about breaking the lease, it will cost you about 3 grand to get out. This place fails on every level. It's stressful to live here, its stressful to move in, and it's stressful to leave. There's no accountability, and no service when dealing with the corporate office. I will never live in another Colonial Property, and I will advise anyone I meet against it for the rest of my life.

Horrible place!! Don't live here. Maintenance never comes to fix the thing that are broken. We have been waiting 5 months. The microwave is broken. Electrical outlets don't work. No one cleans up after their dogs. There are a ton of children wandering around without parents. There is only one dumpster for the entire complex so the trash is constantly overflowing into the sidewalks. The neighbors are loud. The mail never gets delivered. Multiple letters and packages have never been delivered. On a positive note, the parking isn't bad. We thought this was going to be a nice private gated community, but it is awful. We have stayed at other apartments for a lot less that we're much nicer. You have been warned.

These apartments might not be to bad, if management enforced the rules, and the property was better kept. The office staff never answer the telephone, they let it ring until the voice mail answers, i guess they do this so they don't have to talk to anyone. Little children cannot play outside in the grass, due dog feces all over the place, because residents are to lazy to pick up behind their dogs. The only time I've seen any of the office staff go out the office is to show an apartment. If you live on the first floor, you may as well get use to the yard people blowing dirt and grass clippings onto your patio. Since I've lived here I have never seen anyone clean the breezeways where you enter your apartment, theres cob and spider webs in the breezeways and around apartment doors. Everytime you turn around, trash is piled up outside of the trash compacter because residents send their children out with the trash, and the bags are either too heavy for the child to lift, or they just leave it there, then the next person come and leave their's and so on. This place is not worth the money being asked.

It used to be that the longer you committed to a lease the lower your rent, but not anymore. I would have no problem paying over $1000/mth for these beautiful apartments if I could sign a lease for much longer than 18 months to a year. It makes it difficult to call this place your home when you know in 2-3 years you will have to move because of the rent increases.
