We love living here! The community is great and everything is family friendly! The people are nice and the staff is always helpful and nice! When we have a maintain issue it is handled fast and efficient!

Love the place thank you for everything. There are a lot of nice people staying here. Not too many issues. The beach is a big part of living here being able to go there with out too many people. For the play grounds for my kids

Beautiful amenities and cool beach food shack. Habitability issues like infestations or broken major appliances not taken seriously by management, allowed to fester with no to low communication regarding action to fix the situation.

below average attention to problem resolution in regards to appliances. The KHON news article about the insane electrical charges have not been affected at all; the electrical service prices are averaging us upwards of $400 a month and we continue to be told the same preplanned responses. unreal.

The access to the beach is nice but there are things that need to be improved. Im waiting to see my electric bill for the month I was away before I make any real decision about this community. Fixing different issues that could lower peoples electric bills would be a great help.

It is still hard to describe my experience here as we moved during Covid-19. I am hoping that things will settle down that my family and I can experience more here at Kapilina. There are 2 things I find that is bad. 1 is that there is no shuttle or transportation to the nears shopping center and 2 the mini mart is only military only.

We rented this place based on pictures provided by staff. When we arrived it was during COVID so no one was there to greet us and show us our place. It was not as picture. No updated appliances as described and shown, many things broken all over the apartment, bugs and roaches everywhere and they never mentioned the commercial and fighter military planes that fly directly overhead all day and night long. Security lets anyone through the gate at any time. Avoid if possible.

This is a okay place to live at for the monthly rate. There are more cons than pros. Having to worry about high power bills definitely sucks. Noise level super high due to all the commercial and military planes flying over the area. And pest issue is very severe.

Overall this is a great community. Love the resort feel lifestyle and the homes are spacious. The amenities are great and well kept. Its really nice and actually pretty quiet even though we live on the flight path.

The air quality inside my Kapilina Beach rental home is worse than it has ever been in any of the previous homes Ive lived in. That means Ive had to quadruple the amount of times I have to use my inhaler. The only redeeming quality is the exceptional service staff gives you when you make rental or bill payments.

Me and family enjoyed our stayed here. The community is friendly and its structure is beautiful. My only concerns is my unit is infested with roaches, bugs, rat n insects. I have called numerous time and terminator was called twice but it doesnt solved the problem. I have requested to change unit but was denied and said after I make 1 yr which I did. I ask again to change unit after completed my 1 yr lease and again I was denied and was said I owed $8,000 from the month of March - July 2020. That was during the COVID lockdown and I was told thru email that we dont have to pay. With no jobs and no finance there was no income period, until things begin to open up again. Im happy to say that Im up to dated with my payment. Im hoping opportunity will be given to me to relocate to another unit. Thank you !

Every time anything has to be fixed it is done promptly and the workers are always polite. The wear their mask, ask if you need them to remove their shoes and clean behind themselves. I love the Maintenance crew! And in fact all of the workers here at Kapilina Beach are AWESOME!

This is an excellent beach-side community on the most beautiful island. Nowhere else on Oahu can you live this close to the ocean and have room to breathe and enjoy the beauty of Hawaii. The community amenities are great and make life here a wonderful experience.

The views are nice and the community is safe. My only two complaints is maintenance completions and the Electricity bills. To live comfortably in a townhouse with central air you have to pay upwards of $800 per month in order to maintain 74 degrees in your home!

Kapalina is mismanaged, poorly maintained and overall a terrible place to live. The maintenance staff has no idea what they are doing. They treat people like they are wasting their time. The residence staff is sometimes rude and doesn't seem to want to help. The leasing office were the only nice, helpful people I've encountered since living at this place.

Im not sure how a semi-gated and secured community can have so much theft. There are also a lot of speeders. Roads are already narrow and its a residential area. Residents who speed should be held accountable and fined! Flats are single wall homes. Imagine if a car slams through a flat and takes out a whole family!

Community itself seems fine. Grass is kept tidy and the amenities are lovely. Maintenance needs to be scheduled but won't say when they'd come by which could be a problem for some people. Overall community is okay, but the house is a different story.

The twins and I love living here at Kapilina Beach Homes! We feel very blessed to be part of this community and enjoy living so close to the beach, the awesome community center, pools, splash pad, parks and the kids are really thriving at Iroquois Point Elementary School!

Neighbors are kind, community is safe, and we enjoy the quiet. We are looking forward to have the beach chairs put back, GYM open, pool open, and the BBQs reopen so that we can use all the amenities in the compound.

Pleasant, small-town community feel. Some days you could almost feel like were living in a Norman Rockwell painting. I enjoy the layout of the communityspread out enough to maintain your sense of privacy. And the common spaces provide lots of places where you can enjoy time outdoors throughout the community, so you dont have to go to a centralized location that feels crowded or over-used.

Its not bad on my side of the neighborhood but hearing about a resident following a female to her home to car call and say obscure things is a bit frightening as a single female. Also the same resident pounding on other residents doors to be let in is concerning, not knowing his intentions. And the gun being pulled out on someone is also questionable. I know we have security and theyre doing their job ... but I moved here because I thought it we would not have to worry about that type of stuff. Along with peoples property getting stolen or cars being broken into.

We love living here. Military planes do fly over, but that is the sound of freedom. Like any community, sometimes problems occur, but that happens everywhere. No place is 100% perfect or secure. If you go directly to resident services/management with any issues in a kind and courteous manner instead of blasting all over social media about your issue, you can get your issues resolved in a timely manner.

There are a lot of roosters & chickens that start making noise at 5:00 AM!!! I find it funny that they hired a company to capture the chickens last year when I called...as that was around the of my lease renewal...afterwards, the roosters came back and now Im being told theres nothing they can do...I REALIZE NOW THAT ALL THAT GLITTERS ISNT GOLD...AND ITS TIME FOR ME TO MOVE!!!
