We have lived here for almost 5 years and have loved it! Kapilina is a great community, resident services, maintenance, all of the staff do everything they can to help with your concerns!! I feel safe out by myself at 4am or midnight, it is a close knit community with many great amenities!!

The community is fairly nice. I feel safe letting my kids out to play. I have yet to meet a rude neighbor since moving in here. The constant stream of planes flying over can be infuriating. Maintenance does not respond in a timely fashion and Security is a complete joke.

I have been a resident here since 1994, and I love living here, I love my KBH staff. We enjoy our community very much. We have great neighbors and amenities here. Its our own piece of resort living. Beaches with cabanas and chairs to lounge in, great parks and awesome pool.

Neighborhood is nice and once COVID is over we are excited to utilize the amenities. We like the fact that its a gated community and it seems fairly safe so far. Weve only been here since September 1st so we dont have a lot to review at this time

Very Family like Community, its been a special place to live the past 9 yrs. Most of our children were raised here so being in a gated Community kept us safe and protected. Tropical/resort like environment. Much like a slice of heaven

Despite the Covid-19 conditions, the staff and at Kapilina Beach community has been top notch as well as professional, and the on-line services is easy to navigate and has really made my transition real smooth. Thank you again!!

The amenities and feel of resort-style living are available on the property but they are not always well maintained. The construction is older Navy housing and not well updated or efficient. The amenities are commonly closed, not just due to COVID restrictions and outdoor amenities that do allow for separation during COVID restrictions are still closed, while the cost of offering these amenities are not discounted from the price. Theft can be a real issue, and entry into the gated community is not well monitored by contracted security company. The potential is there, the implementation is lacking.

Very good. I moved from pearl city in 2020. This community seems very safe more than area which I used to live. Very quiet and beautiful. If there are markets in community, it will be great. Airplane noise is little bit noisy.

We feel spoiled here....the access to our own Beach, 24 hr gym, walking to beautiful places like the lagoon and we have a single unit and are quite happy here. We wish the kitchen was more updated for the rent we pay... but we would definitely stay here until we can get our own home.

Building seems cheaply made. Need upgraded especially the windows. The outside of windows building and windows should be cleaned by maintenance and repair if needed or monitored. The staff seem really nice and helpful.

The community staff and appearance is very welcoming. I enjoy the peace of mind with the gated community although friends of mine who have visited have been waved through the checkpoint. I also enjoy the amount of communication the residence services provides on activities and changes

Extremely high rent due to amenities, but for 2020 during the pandemic, we havent been able to successfully use the amenities without them closing down. But were still charged an arm and a leg to have it.

With the pandemic, things here have been trying, but excellent otherwise. Even during the pandemic, the residents who had issues wearing masks at the gym or putting stuff in the pools were, it seems, dealt with promptly, but also closed stuff down for the rest of the residents.

Kapilina is a great community if you want to get away to the beach and live every day like its a vacation. The location right up against the beach along with the numerous amenities makes this a sought after spot when looking to settle down on Oahu.

Experience is good as far as my own space. But the grounds keeping could do better At their work and try not steal anymore of my gardening tools or cleaning tools. Things only go missing when they cut my grass. My resident manager should stop lying and telling me I cant move to another unit unless I move out completely and reapply.

Moved here back in March 2019 and have renewed our lease another year. The experience for us has been positive so far, and we're loving it here.The staff and people in community are so nice, friendly, and always so helpful. I feel moving here was the right choice for our family, and I plan to stay.

Overall it's been okay, I don't need perfection. I would like to see the grass cut more frequently. our yard often gets above knee high before it's cut, and only half our yard might get cut at a time. The staff and people seem nice; I love the easy access to the beach and the functions we sometimes have. The beach isn't very kept up, the sand is pretty hard to walk on, but I still appreciate it and know that's a challenge to maintain.

Garbage place to live. Come here if you like the feeling of living in poverty. This place is terrible and I wish I would have moved out a long time ago. Security might as well be lease police, they don't actually do any security. Management, rather the thereof, in this place is a joke. This place is a hell hole.

Great community but has room for a lot of improvements. Great amenities if they are open. Love having access to the beach and Dlish but its not the cleanest beach. The houses are old and have window units so electric bills can get high. They are poorly insulated. I do feel safe living here and its a great first place to rent if you are first moving to the island. Lots of great people to meet.

We love the close proximity to the beach. The size of the homes and the amount of space around the homes. The walking path around the lagoon is exceptional and we use it daily. Having a restaurant on premise is also amazing.

Evalani Exner is the best resident services manager ever!! We have been living here a long time, with the exception of moving out of state for about one year, and every time we interact with Eva it is the most pleasant experience. She is such a good person and more than willing to help you with whatever you need. She is one of the main reasons we still live in this community.

It is a pleasant place to live. I feel totally safe here. People are friendly, they take good care of the lawns and maintenance of inside the apartments/houses is immediate and friendly. I love this place.
