During our 5 years as residents at Kapilina we have enjoyed Evalina's help and friendly manner with requests. Anytime we have reached out to her she has always got back to us in a timely manner. We can say that if not for her we would have more than likely moved to another property. Her professional and ethical attitude is of the utmost caliber. She is by far the best Ambassador employed by Kapilina Beach Homes. And as long term residents, we appreciate knowing she is here when needed.

If you're thinking about moving out of town and looking for a great place to live, you would have a hard time beating Kapalina Beach Home rentals. I don't mean to sound like an advertisement for them, but I've now lived here nearly 7 years and have enjoyed all of it. Let alone how much has changed in the last 7 years, where all the town homes have been upgraded to Pergo floors, new appliances and new cabinet fronts. I'm not sure if Greystar has been the controlling ownership the entire time or not, but during that time there was a new community center built, a fantastic workout area, a pool and hot tub, two dog parks and a water park for the kids. All of this and I haven't even mentioned the mile long stretch of beautiful sandy beach which, due to Kapalina being a gated community, is almost completely empty during weekdays. If there's a downside, its that if you are a 3 mile swim, but a 40 minute drive into Honolulu on a clear day. However, if you are lucky enough to not have to work in Honolulu, then this is definitely a place to check out. The staff has changed a lot over the years, but Evalani has been the calming force that keeps the entire place balanced for over 13 years. She's been through thick and thin with staff overhauls and changes galore. However, if I need something taken care of...she's the one that I go to because she truly cares. She really makes sure everyone there isn't just satisfied, but is happy to be there. How can you ever beat that? Lastly, Ewa Beach has grown a lot over the years with a couple major grocery stores, a few good restaurants, and some of the best gas prices on the island.

I love living in this community. So much to do with the family esp having young children. I love that the beach is a walk away and the schools are amazing. The houses are older but the upgrades are very nice. Most of the time when I do a request for matienance I get done what I need done, but lately I have had long wait times and referrals for things that don't get done. I want to point out that Evalani Exner in Resident services always goes above and beyond when I go in to take care of anything. I feel confident leaving there that what I needed done was done correctly. Huge thank you for such a great job!!

Kapilina is a great place to live. I have been here for 3 years and love it. Evalani Exner in resident services is awesome to work with. She is always happy to see you and just wants to help anyway that she can. She makes you feel like family. I am truly going to miss her when we move.

We are renewing our lease for our 10th year, not only for the great amenities, which weren't here 10 years ago, but because of the Kapilina staff, specifically Evalani Exner and Kathy Mara, who treat all the residents with Aloha and respect. They were our first impression of the community and 10 years later we still love calling this community our home. If you're fortunate enough to stay for more than a year you'll understand why so many residents have resided here for years.

I love this community first for how safe we feel. Second the staff is professional, knowledgeable and always so helpful, especially Evalani. She is always available to answer any questions and has a friendly professional disposition. Evalani always takes the time to find a solution to whatever the situation is, she is a blessing. Lastly, as a resident, I will repeat myself, this is a unique community not just because of the great amenities, also because of the all the wonderful staff that make it great for the residents!

Kapilina has been our home for the last 3 years. There are so many reasons to love living here. At the top of my list is outstanding service from the staff and the great community vibe! The first person that I had the pleasure of dealing with was Evalani Exner. She has been a mainstay here and because of this, she's the go to lady. Her expertise, patience and love for her community cannot be beat! I don't know anyone who has ever been steered wrong or disappointed in dealing with her. I thank all who are employed with Kapilina because they make this place incredible to live in.

Been living here for 9 or 10 years. I've lost count. I love it and my kids love it. Evalani is a breath of fresh air and will always go out of her way to help any resident. She works in resident services and always makes me fell welcomed.

I have lived in the community for 8 years now with my 4 kids. I love kapilina. All of my kids have gone to the elementary school and love that they can walk to school. We love all of the activities they always plan and D'lush that we have on the beach. The maintenance and staff are the best! Anytime we need anything the maintenance guys are so friendly and always fix things better than they were. Kathy and Evalani are so accommodating and will help you any way they can. They always greet you by name and make you feel like a friend. We love our neighborhood!

We have lived in Kapilina Beach homes for going on 3 years now. We have a nice upgraded 4-bedroom stand alone house. The staff in Resident Services are always friendly and reliable. Evalani, specifically has always addressed my few concerns with a friendly and professional attitude. The maintenance phone number is not great for submitting requests, but the times that didn't work, I was able to call Evalani to help and she got someone to call me almost immediately. We love living here because of the sense of community as well as all the beautiful amenities. The is a great place to live!

I have lived in Kapilina Townhomes for nearly 5 years and continue to enjoy living there. The amenities that have improved in that time are amazing from a new fitness center, pool, and dog park to name a few. I contribute to my staying here is the people at resident services like Evalani who is always willing to help the residence in a very cheerful and satisfying way. Just the other day I had an issue with a neighbor that moved out and lots of trash left behind, so I went in to resident services at the same time dozen or so other residents came in overwhelming the resident service people. Evalani came into the room from the back with a smile and handled all the resident's problems and questions very quickly all with a smile and even some small talk making stressful situations disappear. What an asset she is.

Our interaction with KBH Mgmt & resident services over the past 6 years ( living here twice for 2 years or more ) have always been responsive & with the highest level of personal courtesy! Amazing staff and beautiful place to live. This community should be a model for al communities in Hawaii! The grass is well maintained and the residents are quiet but very nice and the realtors are very helpful and constantly make sure you're happy with your home!

Me and my husband are new residents at Kapilina and we already love it! We are in the flats. Maintenance is always helpful and the grounds are well taken care of. Staff and neighbors are friendly. We love that we can walk a few blocks to the beach and that there's a dog park near by where we can take our fur babies to play. The Dlish beach bar is a lot fun with trivia and taco Tuesdays. The neighborhood has a farmers market every Wednesday as well. There's always something fun going on with the monthly event calendar. A lot of family friendly events. The Comunity center is beautiful and has everything you need. We only have one more year left on the island. I wish we would have known about Kapilina sooner so we could stay longer. It's such a great neighborhood to live in! Now I recommend Kapilina to all my friends!

Kapilina has been so good to my family and I. We enjoy the area, it's safe, it's always nice and cool (cold on some days and that's a treat in Hawaii), there is so much to do, and generally great for the whole family. I recommend to all my friends and family about Kapilina. We just renewed our lease and couldn't be more at ease and happy about it! God bless you all. : )

Ciara was extremely helpful helping us get moved in it was a super smooth and enjoyable experience. The house is all renovated and the property is very clean. the doors and windows open up and allow a beautiful breeze throughout the house allowing us to keep the AC turned off!

Military Family here! We moved to Kapilina Beach Homes in July 2018 and WE LOVE IT! We worked with Angela Cooper. She helped us find the perfect house for us over the phone. We asked for a stand alone flat, near the water with lots of trees and under our budget! Boy...did she deliver! She Facetimed with us and walked through the model and around the outside of our soon to be home. It was perfect!!! She handled everything so seemlessly, that we basically showed up, grabbed our keys and moved it. Its been a dream since. We love living here. We were on the fenced and worried after reading some of the negative reviews, but we have incredible neighbors, no bug issues(we do stay on top of monthly pest sprays), the plane noise doesnt bother us, we love the school, the beach, D'lish!!!!, farmers markets, the school(Iroquois Point), the pool, splash pad, parks and dog park!! This community does such a great job organizing activities and makes it easy to get to know your neighbors. We have a 3 bed/2bath flat, 1 street over from the beach, with 2 kids(4&7) and I stay at home with our 4yo. We dont run the air unless its August & September and our utility bill has ranged from $120-$220(MAX).

Hope you love hearing aircraft ALL THE TIME. From the automated system charging me 10% extra for never being late to the OUTRAGOUS power bills + this place is very overrated. Oh yeah the power bill is included in the rent. Most of there reviews are fake. I'm going to go ahead and get it out of the way right now this is for Greystar / kapilina management ("I'm sorry you've had a bad experience please contact us at 1-800........).Please stop saying that on every reply. It comes off as smug. The pool and amenities are overrun by non-residents. 90% of all people you see at the beach and pool do not live here. They will charge you a deposit, you will not get that back. The bugs and roaches will be overwhelming, enjoy paying $3200 + for all of this aggravation. You also have to fight for parking spots on the weekend. Did I mention this place is really loud, you are basically living at the runway. Very loud. You'll hear F-35 traffic Mon-Sat and air traffic from all major operators including c130 and heavy freight 7 days a week.

This community is a great place to live because you have access to so much parks beaches schools & it's a safe neighborhood also quite and no problems. The homes is nice and if anything is wrong they have mainatanance to fix your problems

Ok here we go and if you know me or have at least ran into me a few times I'm really not a person who complains. I take what I have and make the best of it in any situation to include the so called "resort living" in Kapilina Beach Homes. What a damn nightmare it has been. I'm sorry if some of you may be real close to this community/ people running it however..... I hope the best for you in the long run, that place is a damn joke!!! I've bit my tongue for two years now and can't do it anymore. As some may have seen my post yesterday, I turned in my keys during the move out inspection. And seriously left the house CLEAN all but a ring around the toilet from the water and I got that, charge me it's fine. The inspector even said WOW as she walked in. What is not fine is that the lady "Marla" I think was her name inspecting my house had the audacity to tell me at the end that if I would write a good review for Kapilina and to include her name in it that she would work/help me get a pretty good chunk of my deposit back to include the $160.00 I should be getting back due to prorating the last two days of the month. First off wow, what a fraud and wish I could have gotten it recorded. And second, here is your review now lady. The system is a joke. I tried to ask for a receipt/statement of charges before she left and she replied with I'm sorry I cant give that to you right now the office has to run numbers. EXACT WORDING! Run numbers...!!!!! You knew I was turning in keys and doing a final walk through. I was ready. The house was ready. Why weren't they ready?! And from there I knew it. I just got an email stating that I currently owe an additional $234.00 and it needs to be paid by 1 November 2018. Just unbelievable. Again this post is 1, for Everyone's SA. And 2, they asked for a review so here they go. I seriously believe your system that may have worked once before is now broken and is a HUGE SCAM! I truly believe there are people pocketing money that should not be pocketing money. I strongly encourage you to dig deep into this one day if not here real soon before it comes back real bad. For all my fellow Kapilina families may I wish you all the best and good luck in all your futures. I've gotten to meet some really awesome people there and hope to stay in touch with a lot of you. ????

We just moved from Kapilina Beach Homes after 2.5 years and have to say we absolutely loved it! Everyone in Resident Services is fantastic.. Wished I remembered everyone's name.. But Nani and Evalani were particularly helpful and so nice .. Especially during the move out process.. Mahalo friends.. We shall miss your smiling faces!

I like living at Kapilina. But we have neighbors that has a boy or girl friends that bring their vehicles and it's not registered with Kapilina and they park where otherbprople that lives there parks.

We've been here a little over a month now and the only complaint I have as of now is maintenance. We've put in a couple work orders and the turn around time is terrible. We are still waiting on the last two orders.

I have been a resident of Kapilina Beach homes going on 3 years, I love this place BUT... have been living in a so called renovated home with nothing but interior primer paint. Every year my rent gets raised, I was promised fencing all around the back of my house and also up to this date, nothing! I've gone to the office several times to address the interior paint, and in two year no results. They charged late fees for not paying rent on time and are really quick about addressing those who violate any rules and regulations here in Kapilina, so I hope in that same way, they own that they have being charging me the whole amount for a home that does not meet those standards, "fully renovated". Hopefully they do the right thing ASAP.
