Kapilina is a secluded and gated community with Security on duty 24 hours a day. For Military families, there is a PX and gas lanes, and beaches for all to enjoy. There is a pre school and elementary school on property with amazing teachers. The other huge plus for this area are all of the community events coordinated by Mrs food trucks to movie nights to holiday themed events. There is always something happening at Kapilina for all to enjoy!

Kapilina Beach Homes is a neighborhood that lives up to its reputation. The amenities in the neighborhood make it a wonderful place to raise a family. The walking paths, the pools, the hammocks, and the splash park are just a few of the amenities that our family has used since moving in. Rachel took great care of us when we arrived after hours and took the time to show us several units, never rushing us through or making us feel hurried--we ended up signing paperwork that night. We love living here, away from the traffic of Hawaii and our infant isn't bothered in the least as we are in the flight path. (It is an island after all!)

I am in the process of moving to the Island of Oahu and was looking for a housing development that I could feel safe and call my home. I first reached out to Katie at Kapilina Beach Homes and she was very helpful by showing me all the different housing plans and units that were available to fit my budget and personal needs. With a mile of private beach front to local residents I didn't have to worry about all the traffic and hassle getting to the beach. I really enjoyed their brand new gym, pool, and hot tubs. The extra security was a welcoming sight at the front gate. I can not wait to move in June 1st and start my new life. Thank you Katie for all of your help. Tom

I love coming home to Kapilina. The community is awesome. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. The amenities here are terrific from the beautiful beach, the great pool and the kids splash park. The activities they have planned every month from concerts, comedy acts to family movie nights with lots of great and Ono food trucks. Now if we only had a shopping center??

We moved her from Houston, Texas and were looking for a place that would work for us and our son who is in a wheelchiar. Kaplilina Beach Homes was the perfect choice for us. We all love living here and the entire staff was so helpful understanding our needs and concerns with our son. The grounds and facilities here are more than we could hope for. We look forward to living her for many years and look forward to our grandchildren coming for summer visit as there are so many things they will enjoy. Deborah Veilleux

We have only been in our home for about a week, but we really do love it, and wish we have moved sooner. The office staff (especially Rachel) are great and the maintenance staff are super responsive. There are great amenities, and frequent events for the residents and it's just so fun to get out and mingle with the neighbors. Also, the community feels safe and secure, and it is nicely maintained. The homes might be a bit older, but they are charming and have had lovely updates to the kitchen and main living area.

First and foremost, I would like to apologize about this long review, but I feel like there are many points that need to be acknowledged. I have been a resident at Kapilina Beach Homes since November 2014. In those years, I've resided in four separate units. Why you may ask? There is NO other place on island where you can get the bundle deal all in one location. I moved out here from the mainland with my pets (my babies), and if anyone knows Hawaii, it's a complete headache to find any housing to accept them with limitations (weight and multiples being the most common factor). Not only is KBH accepting of pets, they EMBRACE the fur kids. Between having an amazing dog park with obstacles, seating, water access, etc I don't have to leave my community to get their energy out. Added bonus, a dog beach dedicated for them to swim and play their hearts out. Another "sold" point are the amenities. Granted I moved out here before the community center, gym, dog park, splash pad , and D'Lish (residential food joint) were complete. Having a beautiful clean beach within walking distance of my home, I mean how much better can it get? The community center is gorgeous with relaxing outdoor or indoor seating. When I want to get out the house with our baby, we walk on down there and soak it all in. The pool area puts other communities to shame. Not only is there a hot tub, standard large pool, but a kiddie pool for the keiki! I love that I can pack up the stroller and our 6 month old can play and enjoy the water safely. I believe a lot of communities have residents that are just another "number". By that, other communities don't bother to get to know their residents. KBH is far from that, between all the staff members who are beyond polite and friendly, they take that initiative to get to know you. I can walk into resident services and always promptly be greeted by the wonderful Rachel, Evalani, or anyone. The lawn guys, cleaning crew, security guards, even maintenance men are just all amazing. It's welcoming, its homey, it makes me feel secure. All of the staff are like family here. If I've had an issue with any appliances or such, they're quick to get in and resolve any issues. Yes there may be a wait sometimes, but you have to consider the fact that there's over 100 units and only so much staff. Pest issues (because let's be real, there's bugs all over this island), there's a free exterminator...I can seriously keep going on. As I've stated before, I've lived in 4 separate units all in the one story (flats) section. Each home is a 3 bed/2 bath home (they do have other layout options) that's spacious, and nicely laid out. People will always say "Ewa Beach is too hot, etc" but each house I've lived in had wonderful trade winds, A/C was not necessary (but is an option). You get that true Hawaii feeling from the winds blowing past Pearl Harbor up to our neighborhood. Honestly if you take into consideration all the factors of this neighborhood, the pricing is beyond reasonable in my opinion. Where else on island will you get all these amenities without costing you an arm, leg, and first born? One of the biggest things I will always be so gracious for is how KBH is a family oriented community. They put so much time and effort into planing events for the community like the fresh market every Wednesday, movie night on the beach or pool, holiday photos and events (trick or treating, Easter hunt, caroling, etc), community yard sales. I'm sure I'm forgetting a ton, but you get the picture. I'm a new mom and being military and away from family, I've met some amazing people here. Moms meet and have playgroups, there's coffee meets, book clubs, lots of ways to plug in. If you're not an outgoing individual, that's okay. But to know I have awesome neighbors within the community just puts the icing on the cake. KBH has been a blessing to my family and I. I would recommend this place to anyone looking in the Ewa area. When are time in Hawaii comes to an end, it will be so bittersweet to leave such an amazing community. This place makes memories, there's no place like it.

We absolutely love living here at Kapilina Beach Homes! My family moved into this community back in August of 2008 when it was still known as the Iroquois Point Island Club. We immediately feel in love with this safe and beautiful place. The property management team continues to improve this community by adding new amenities. This is a mixed community ranging from retirees to young families, there is something for everyone. Our property manager Kathy Mara is awesome, she will help you with anything you need. I also look forward to seeing Evalani's smiling face when I walk into the Resident Services. We just signed another year lease, this is the place we call home.

Noise (airport) and flies (bugs) are the only problems. Even with that it is a great place to live. Hardly need to leave the place as everything we may need has already been taken care of in advance!

My husband and I have been living in Kapilina for over three years, it is our home! We chose to live here for many unbeatable reasons. Starting from the excellent service we had at the leasing office to the kind help that continues at the residence office. The amenities are unbeatable! You will not find a rental in Hawaii that has a community Aloha, swimming pool, hot tub, beach restaurant, secluded beach, cabanas, dog park, splash park, gym, community events, and farmers market all included in your rent! The houses are not new but they are spacious. What you fill it with and how clean you keep it is what makes it your home. There is a lot of green space and the bonus, maintenance takes care of it. This frees up your time, use it to spend time with your family and all take advantage of all the community has to offer. As you have probably read already, there are airplanes that go over head. To be honest, I work from home stopped noticing them after 3 months of living here. It's fun to watch them take off from the beach. Weather you've lived on island your whole life, for a while or you're new, the community spirit will make you feel welcome! The staff are always pleasant and do there best to solve an issue and accommodate you. There are so many people in the community that offer their talent and services including hair, nails, alterations, and pet care. One of these people just maybe your neighbor. This is our home (and yes, our friends are jealous) ... We're lucky we live in Kapilina!

I love Kapilina Beach Homes. The environment and amenities have been great for my family to spend quality time together right in our neighborhood. From playing outside in the open space, fishing in the lagoon, beach days and sunset dinners, playing in the pool and working out in the gym, we love what Kapilina offers. I love the friends and lifelong connections we have made in the neighborhood. I also have had great working experience with my manager and with the maintenance department whenever I need anything. I love coming home to my neighborhood.

Kapilina Beach Homes recently went through a dramatic transformation and it is absolutely worth the wait! The new community center is such a great place for families and adults to sit down and relax next to the new pool, play with your children in the keiki pool, or lounge in the jacuzzi. Not to mention there is always a community event or multiple events happening every month!

We lived here since 2012 when it was then The Waterfront at Puuloa. A LOT has changed since then. We loved living here in 2012, but love it even more now! Kapilina Beach Homes is perfect for our family of 4. The amenities here outweigh anything bad you can possibly say about this place. The beach is in walking distance and a great place to barbeque since there are so many grills there at the beach park. The newly renovated gym cannot be beat! While you're running on the treadmill, you can peek out at the beautiful lagoon, or awesome new pool. The pool is amazing! It consists of a huge Jacuzzi, a long roomy pool 3&4 feet deep,a toddler pool, and tons of seating and shade. Did I mention that they have a concession on the weekends that serves awesome food and even alcoholic beverages! The community center just has so much to offer... there's an indoor and outdoor lounge area, televisions to watch, clean bathrooms and even a computer room with a printer! Do you play pool? They even have a pool table! Now to add to all of that, Kapilina also holds community events that is fun for the whole family. Movie Night, Halloween Carnival, and Luau at the Beach just to name a few. To add to the awesome events, there are activities like Play Mornings and Maitais & Monet that you can participate in. Never a dull moment here, I must say! I dare you to find another place with value this great, in a community this beautiful.

Kapilina is a beautiful and fantastic place to live, the community is beautiful and the annenities are awesome. From the beach cabanas to the pool. The residents are awesome too and take good care of each other. Evalani Exner is one of our favorite employees and is great to work with on events. She really is the heart of kapilina!

My wife and moved in to Kapilina Beach Homes in July 2016. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT HERE! Our leasing agent Rachel Ventura was extremely helpful in our leasing process. She asked the right questions to be able to meet our needs for our pets and health needs. Also Katherine Mara the resident manager made certain we had what we needed right away. We love the pool, beach, and fitness center! The Pool Porters are always helpful.

My husband and I have lived in Kapilina for about a year and 8 months. Although the homes are older and have some problems, they are still decent and the maintenence staff does their best to fix problems within the home as residents report them. The staff here has been kind and understanding with some of the minor problems I have brought to their attention. As for the amenities here, my favorite is the dog park. Since we don't have a yard it is great to have a big dog park and a designated dog beach in the community where my two dogs can play and run free. I love having the farmers market here every wednesday where I can buy anything from local produce to home made decorations. When you're renting a home it is easy to pick out problems and complain about anything you don't like, but so far all of the problems I have brought to my property manager have been met head on and taken care of in a timely manner. All in all, I'm happy to be living in Kapilina and plan on staying here until my husband and I leave the island.

We love kapilina! We rented a single family home our first year in Hawaii, owned for two, and then moved here! This is the best Hawaii living of all. The amenities offered here beat everywhere else in island. It's the perfect spot for our family of 6. We also love the pet policy. Such a relief to be able to have our large dog remain with us!!

If you live on Oahu, you are likely keenly aware of the increasing cost of living here along with what seems like ever growing congestion from traffic and construction. It can really get to you and diminish some of the joy of living in paradise. I have felt this for a while, add to that some significant family strife and life can become a real challenge. In June of last year, due to difficult circumstances, I had to find a place to live for myself and my two daughters. We had been under significant stress for a long while and I was concerned about the effect of moving on my two girls. We were used to a 3 bedroom home in a decent neighborhood and now I was on a very tight budget. The choices seemed dismal and my hope for a home with enough space in a tasteful area did not seem possible. While searching for homes I came across Kapilina and immediately crossed it off the list in my mind. It looked like a resort with pictures of people running down the beach so I assumed it was not remotely an option for us. After much searching one day, I looked further into Kapilina on a whim, just to see how the other half lives! I was so surprised by the prices and amenities I called to see if there were some typos in the posting. There were not. I asked if I could come see a home that same day. I have lived in Kapilina now for about a year and am renewing my lease. This is why: the cost is an excellent value for the home, proximity to the beach and the amenities. I live in a 3 bedroom home that is spacious for me and my girls. We can walk to a sparkling lagoon or the beach in less than 10 minutes. I bike around the lagoon almost daily to clear my head and enjoy the out doors. There is a brand new work out center that is FREE with my lease 5 minutes walk from my house. On Saturday mornings, I bike to the beach where I can get breakfast-avocado on toast and a coffee-at the beach shack restaurant open on weekends. I occasionally take my mom on a Saturday night there for the sunset and a cocktail. (I know its unreal) In addition, as a first time renter and really the first I have been on my own, I am thrilled with the gated community and the management. The community is well-managed, well-planned and has so many amenities: maintenance and yard work done, workout, pool, dog parks, school, gated, beach, restaurant, lagoon, fishing and not the least, clean, peaceful and beautiful. I think Kapilina is the best value on the island and an absolute haven from congestion, while giving you the best of paradise. Kapilina is a gem and a healing place. Needless to say, my girls and I are very happy.

I've lived here for 4 years now and I absolutely love it! The amenities are great and the space you get is huge compared to everywhere else we looked. I've learned the harvest schedule for all the fruit trees on property and enjoy going picking with my kids. The school on site also makes life so easy for me. My son is able to ride his bike to and from school on a daily basis. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking to rent in Hawaii. You get the most bang for your buck!
