I have lived here for 4 1/2 years and have no plans to leave! It is awesome and has only gotten better over the years. Kathy Mara, a resident manager, is really amazing, Evalani in the office as well as the rest of the staff are so helpful and great to engage with. They care about the residents. Definitely say hi to Larry as you enjoy the new pool and community center. This place isn't just a neighborhood it's a community full of great events and people to enjoy. The view at the beach is impossible to beat and I love that they allow pets, that is really hard to find anywhere in Hawaii.

Kapilina is AMAZING! We are military and have lived in quite a few apartment communities as well as own a home and this has been by far one of the best experiences. From the beginning we had Rachel as out fabulous leaser who was very well informed about the community and was looking out for our best interests for us as a family and what we wanted. I moved into my home and everything was as expected from the location to the layout. We have been here for a little over 6 months now and have not regretted out decision to live here at Kapilina once. We walk down to the farmers market for dinner every Wednesday, we use the fitness on demand center 5 nights a week, walk along the lagoon and down to the beach, and when we dont want to go to far for breakfast on the weekend, there is a small beach side cafe we can walk down to. Kapilina is very family friendly and we do not have kids but still have plenty to join in and do with the various community events. The only reason I did not give 5 stars as I do wish they would be a bit more strict about people using their carports as storage, but that too is only few and far between. If you are looking for a place to call home that actually lives up to what they say they are, this is the place. Kapilina is really like living at a resort.

The resident services, especially Evalani Exner has helped me in many situations, since I have been here, 3yrs ago. The problem that is bothering me, now, is the many closures the pool has, because people won't monitor their children. I really think we need a pool monitor for these purposes. If we started handing out fines to guilty parties or taking away pool privileges may help solve the problem.

Great place to live! We just moved here from the Mitten and are definitely not missing the freezing cold. Great amenities too- nice pool, beach, gym, community events - great place to begin your Hawaii Life!

This is a great, kid friendly community with amazing amenities and a super friendly staff! There is so much to offer anyone wanting to move the community and there is always something going on! Our neighbors are amazing and quick to help each other out. It feels like home. We love it here!

I love everything about this place. There is always something to do here. The beach is right out your back door and a awesome club house with pool and gym. I have lived here 3 years. Love it!

We have enjoyed the community and the many amenities it offers. We have never lived in such a tight knit community with it's own events! It can be loud because of airplanes, but we have become used to the noise. Being able to walk to the beach is awesome and we even have the option of taking our dog to the dog beach. We have had great experiences with the staff at resident services and have not had any issues with maintenance. It will be hard to leave when our time here is up.

What you get at Kapilina is so much more than you can get anywhere else on island for the price. Spacious housing (albeit a little old), community center with a pool, lanai, and hammocks, and a private beach. For two young freelancers, this is the perfect set-up.

So quick to get back at us if we have an issue. Everyone at resident services is great to work with! I've been there 3 times the past week trying to get my decals and they always greet me with a smile and help me out!

This is a fantastic place to live! The location and amenities are wonderful and greatly add to our family's quality of life. The staff is attentive, and maintenance issues are dealt with quickly and professionally. The price is appropriate for what you get! We've had loud neighbors that have been a pain, but the management is working to resolve the issue. It's not the management's fault that some people weren't taught to respect others.

Loving this community. There's so much to do here without leaving; take visiting friends children to the Water Park, playgrounds, beach and swimming pool. With the newly added night life, its also easy to entertain my adult friends when they come to my house.

I love living here and the community feel is amazing. I wish we had better construction in homes near the beach but it's ok as is. There used to be more activities last year and this year it seems there isn't as many which is disappointing. My family loves living here though and the amenities are first class.

So far I'm impressed by all the amenities. You will never have to leave. All that is needed is a supermarket but we do have a NeX. Only negatives at the moment is that the community is pretty far from everything and the wait time for exterminator. Also, lots of Flies and bugs in general.

We love the community! There are obviously good and bad no matter where you live. But I really believe Kapilina Beach Homes tries to keep our community entertained and happy! We are very happy here! Oh however the rule of no water in the hot tub is very silly. You need to re think this one ;)

We have been here only a month and love everything that Kapilina has to offer. Love the ability to walk to the beach after work and watch the sunset. We love taking our dogs to the dog park, the pool and jucuzzi are amazing

We love living at Kapalina Beach Homes. The amenities are amazing, the staff are so nice, and the residents are great. Theven community is more like a family. We have been so impressed by activities every month. This truly is resort living.

I have enjoyed living at Kapilina since returning back home in June of 2015. At that time, it was one of the more affordable rents for what we were getting. As someone else mentioned in their review, the electricity is outrageous! My bill has continuously gone up. The latest bill for water and electricity is $599, but this is for a 35 day period. Some months the bill is only for 28 days, and my bill is usually lower then. The house itself is cheaply constructed. Paint chips off the walls, the floors creak, and every 3-4 months we have to call for maintenance on the A/C. Despite these small nuisances, there are some very convenient amenities that have been added to the property. Since moving here, Kapilina has added a community center with a pool, 24-hour fitness center, and recreational facilities that include ping-pong, foosball, and a pool table. Additionally, there is a new dog park and water pad park too. There are many outdoor spaces to go for a walk, make a meal on the beach/park, and activities to be involved in on weekly and monthly basis'. We have extended our first lease and are on our second one which is due to be up in January. I'm a little concerned because I've heard other tenants talk about the jump in rent when they tried renewing their lease. I will not be able to afford much more than what I am currently paying, but will try to do my best to stay as it is just simpler than packing up and moving again. If you are looking for a safe place to live that offers great amenities and many outdoor attractions, this is the place for you. But, be prepared for signing on to extend your lease as this has been very stressful for some that I have spoken with that have gone through renewing.

I like the amenities about living in Kapilina with the community pool, 24hr gym, little gated playground for the kids, movie night on the beach on the first Friday of every month. It's private, quiet & especially dog friendly! The only 2 things I would suggest is to let the residents that rent out the party room have access to the pool. & to put a light at the basketball court.

I truly enjoy this community! You get to know your neighbors, and for the most part, everyone is friendly. I feel safe here with our 24-hour security guard gate and the security in general. The activities and events in our community are great and enjoyable. We have the best amenities! The upgraded homes are terrific, and all the upgrades around the community are amazing. I love it here!
