My wife and I have lived here for over a year now, and we LOVE it. Where else could you live so close to such a wonderful beach, and also be so close to all the amenities. The staff at this community do an outstanding job at creating an enjoyable environment. We especially enjoy the weekly farmer's market, the outdoor movies and the community yard sales promoted by Kapilina. We so enjoy our place here, that we decided to commit to stay here another year!

    Outstanding place to live! Our community feels safe and secure no matter what time of the day or night you can take your family fishing or late night walks to the beach without a worry or care in the world. this is a Great place to call home, look at it this way you can leave for work and know your family and all of your belongings are safe in Kapilina Townhomes.

      I love it here. I feel pretty secured, the amenities are great and it's a great community for children. Rent is a bit much but I really can't complain because of the amenities. Wish that the non military members had access to the shopette...it would make it easier for the residents here to be able to shop here rather than drive out to the nearest store for something small....not to mention gas.

        I lived in the flats side of the community for 6 months now, and I don't have any complains so far. I live in one of the recently renovated units and the layout of the house if perfect for my family. Maintenance is fast and responsive. Where I live noise neighbors are very quiet. I would love to stay for the years to come, but my current job in Honolulu makes commute a little bit harsh. My family love all the amenities the community offer including the Farmers market. I recommend the flats, you wont have the utility issue some families have. I heard a lot of complains from the townhouses. If you are considering living here, check the flats first.

          I am very pleased to be living here and thoroughly enjoy all the amenities including the beach which is always clean and the walk around the lagoon. The dog friendly environment makes this a perfect place offering recreation areas for dogs and myself included. My only request for improvement is the neighborhood where residents are permitted to leave quite bit of clutter in the front of their homes which can be quite unsightly.

            It was a pleasant experience over all. Friendly staff, knowledgeable and easy to work with. The gym has moved so I'm looking forward the seeing the new spot. The lagoon is great with walking trails all round. The beach is well maintained, not too crowded with permanent chairs, umbrellas, volley ball, and large social aread.

              I have lived in this community for seven years and my family and I have enjoyed living here. We know that every community has ups and downs but the ups here outweigh the downs by a large margin and if there are any downs , the staff works well to address them.

                Living on an Island that has so much traffic all the time, coming home to our home in Kapilina Beach has been a welcomed breath of fresh air. Once home we feel comfortable and relaxed and have all the amenities we would ask for at our fingertips. Life here is a wonderful relief from the craziness of the busy Island / work week.

                    This website and great reviews are soooooooo laughable at best. I truly believe that this has to be management reviewing and making false 5 star reviews. Short and simple....... 3 name changes Iroquois Point to Waterfront at Puuloa to Kapilina Beach Homes and still the same crap! Why do they keep changing the name??? Running from bad and true reviews of how you lie and cheat great and honest hard working people on their utilities bills plus yearly rent raising. NO STARS FOR LYING AND CHEATING!! WE KNOW WE LIVED THERE AND HAD ELECTRIC CHECKED. First year there $250 highest bill all year! Next year $400 to $500 without any reason because rate of kilowatt was lower that year and our habits were the same. Our connecting neighbor same bill only NOOOOOOOO a/c because didn't own any. We had 3 a/c units and ran them 7pm to 7am then open our jalousie windows during the day as we had beach breeze. Our neighbors bills all the same thing when someone new moved in their bill was at our rate to start. When the people who lived there in the same house had a bill of $200 less the month prior to moving. We starting seeing the wave of people getting charged more and more as people moved in. That is when we knew and can't prove it but they are cheating everyone there. Even with no ac use and going to the Ewa laundry mat our bill was the same high bill that month because we tried to see if it would be lower. They are liars and cheaters and we don't know how you sleep knowing what you are doing to innocent good renters. This is a really nice place but not when you are being cheated and lied to and your bill can change at ANY moment. Really how can you budget when you turn off everything and you are hot and no tv and at the laundry mat and you still get a $600 to $800 bill now in 2015????? You should be ashamed but you're not at all and will boldly lie in my face and others! Please rent outside of this community in Ewa for cheaper and pay ($260 8 months and $500 4 months in summer) for utilizes. Why waste your money here and be without ac and pay way more. Ask the people who live here they know their bill! We still have friends here that know! Don't ask management just get more lies!!!

                      The homes are big and clean. Plenty of room for living, but bedrooms are a bit on the small side considering. Great amenities, the beach is super nice and never crowded like many beaches around the island. The only drawback is if you work on the east side, you will face d Some daunting traffic. I average an hour and 15 to go 18 miles... But if you like to cycle or don't mind traffic, I highly recommend it.

                        We absolutely love living here! The Management staff has been nothing but great to us over these last two years! Any maintenance issues that we have had, have always been responded to in a quick and timely manner. The community is beautiful...and the view of Diamond Head is absolutely breathtaking! We plan on living here until it is time for our next assignment...

                            Kapilina Beach Homes is the best bang-for-the-buck on the island of Oahu. Period! You will not find any other community this close to the beach, in such good condition, with this much square footage, with an actual yard... at these prices. Guaranteed! Kapilina Beach Homes is a gated community with full-time security personnel manning the front gate and conducting routine patrols. There are numerous playgrounds for the kids to play on, and the Elementary School is recognized as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. Community activities include a Farmer's Market , Movie on the Beach Night once per month... along with other weekly, monthly, and seasonal activities. And of course... there is the beach located with-in an easy walk from even the furthest home. They do allow pets, and there is a pet park and other areas where you can walk your pets freely. I have lived here for two years, and have found that the staff to be very polite, professional, and responsive. Overall... I think Kapilina Beach Homes is a great place to live.

                              I love living here. The community is well kept except for a few who leave there trash cans out and never take it in. Keep up the good job. Movie nights are awesome..the farmers market is great..I only wish rent wasn't so high but with everything climbing up its bound to happen. But thank very much for giving my family the opportunity to live here.

                                Its a great community for those who do not mind the long drive. They accept most pets which sold me along with your own parking and in-unit laundry. Noise is an issue i have a rotating schedule and i have neighbors who are partying hard 24-7. Other people with pets arent responsible pet owners around these neck of the woods (ie: have breeds that arent allowed, not picking up feces, dogs who bark all night).

                                  The area is scenic and well maintained, pets being allowed is a great benefit, access to the beach and pet facilities is a good reason to live here. Rent fluctuation is the only downside that I have concerning the Kapilina homes.

                                      I have lived in the townhouses for almost 2 years now and I must say my family and I love it here. The management continues to strive towards making our stay even better, with community wide events and many grounds improvements. There is much to be said for having an outstanding elementary school so close by. My children can safely walk to and from school and I have neve once worried about them in this community.

                                            It's a beautiful place to live. Management is responsive and yet unobtrusive. Excellent gym and the beach is in walking distance. I feel secure and enough to walk my dog at night carefree. It would be better if every change in management didn't come with an increase in rent.

                                              Even though I have not been here long it's a great place to live. Though it's not as close to work I like that it's quiet & it feel a little more like hawaii with openness and space. The community is nice and the beach is awesome, like have your own piece of paradise. The only this that would be better is if they would bring back the ferry.

                                                Very good job on ac installment. Made sure it was clean after they were done. Helped move furniture around in order for a safe installment..will definitely recommend. They were very proffesional and made sure to take time to show us how the ac unit works.

Staff friendly, courteous, and if we have any maintainance issues generally taken care of within 48 hours or sooner, depending on the nature of the problem.

                                                    A: It depends when you go, if it's traffic time about 45-60 minutes if it is not traffic time, it's good about 30 minutes. Morning traffic is crazy, you either have to go about 5 and take Kunia Road or wait until 8 after all the schools start otherwise it takes almost an hour.

                                                    A: 30 minutes or so, depending on the time of day and traffic at the gate. There are quite a few Army folks who live here who commute, do carpooling could even be an option.
