I like living here as a first time city resident. I find it much more well kept than other buildings I toured and the front desk staff is friendly. There are monthly events for all residents (free things). Gold Coast is very accessible via LSD and the red line and fairly safe to walk around. If I were to make any improvements it would be to not use a third party package delivery system as it sometimes delays packages. I typically cannot hear my neighbors through the walls or above me, however, I can hear just about everything in the hallway and when trash goes down the trash chute next to me.

Awful. Management doesn't care about safety or concerns. Only to get rent on time. That building (1350)had a crazy dangerous neighbor who made threats, woke up at all hours of the night, bang on doors, throw stuff and broke stuff. Kellie and her management team did little to nothing and did not care about safety of residents or front desk staff (ESPECIALLY women.) She was fine and safe at her own apt in the other building (1360). This same resident moved out (he did not get evicted for his actions) and now lives In a nearby building. As of a few weeks ago, he held someone hostage and had police, swat team and the bomb squad outside his apt/building for 10 hours!!! That could have been any of the residents at 1350. The outside of building is nice and it's a really nice neighborhood BUT management has ruined the building. PLEASE be aware and be safe.

The 1350/1360 community has changed in the last few years, and I really miss the way things were when I moved in. I feel like a lot of newer residents are more disruptive than previous neighbors, and to deal with regular disturbances on top of a SIGNIFICANT rent increase is just salt in the wound. We'll be moving out next year.

I love it, space is nice for a studio. Love the gym and proximity to both the city and the beaches. Buses are literally right outside the building. When I'm too lazy to go to the actual grocery store, I just walk over to the store in the building.

Pros: - The maintenance and door staff are wonderful and make living here a much more pleasant experience! - maintenance team is quick to respond and take requests seriously and ensure the problem is fixed. - spacious units and great natural light with large windows - amazing roof deck Cons: - radiator heat which is impossible to regulate meaning it's hot in winter - outside contractors do not take the same care in maintenance and repairs that internal staff does (painters) - very little storage space in one bedroom units - if don't have updated kitchen, then the paint on cabinets is 10 layers thick and scrapes off any time a dish is taken out or put away - roof deck is only open until 10pm and not open all year round, which is inconsistent with other buildings in the neighborhood

The apartment is in a great location, close to everything and in a safe neighborhood. The building is pet friendly and also has a dog park which is super convenient. The laundry is not ideal because there are usually multiple units out at a time and the ones that work are almost always in use so that can be annoying.

The community is quiet with a lot of dog owners who allow there dogs to pee right in the front entrance of everything! On the bright side you have a lake as your backyard and nice rooftop summer nights.

It is a great community. I have lived here for 6 years. It is a great location and building. You can't beat what is included in the building. I like the roof views and the workout facility. Great for pets as well.

I've lived in the building for about 7 months over several seasons and have no complaints. All of the staff is great! It never feels too crowded. My apartment hasn't had any issues with heat or a/c. There are no noise issues. It's been great overall!

This is a great price for a great location. The community and front desk associates are so nice and accommodating. The rooftop and amenities are very nice. It is perfect for commuting downtown and living on the lake.

This has been my first time moving out and it has been a wonderful experience. The staff and neighbors are very friendly and always willing to give a helping hand. The neighborhood is very safe and pet friendly. The interior is very nice and spacious but still having that cozy home feel. The staff especially is beyond wonderful. Every time I see them they welcome me with so much kindness I feel like a long friend/family.

It has been very comfortable to be honest. Location is just way too awesome located on N Lakshore Dr in between Oak St beach & North Ave Beach. Community is also great. Public transport is awesome too with access CTA buses & train and divvy too.

I am usually happy with this apartment building, however, there are a few things that need to be improved upon. There was a safety incident that happened in front of 1360, it was in the Chicago police scanner, that there was an armed robbery right outside of the building. No residents were alerted of this incident.

I’ve been here since 2017 and they building keeps going downhill… first, the building has really old APT’s, semi-renovated and new. I have the really old ones and I’m paying over 2K for it…. Not worth it. I’ve stayed in this building this long because rent wasn't this bad and because I hate moving but I’ll be moving out once my lease is over. It’s THAT bad… it’s a shame because the amenities are actually convenient and nice (rooftop, convenience store, close to downtown etc.) but management is absolutely awful. They are rude, gossipy, don’t answer for days and they just don’t care. After COVID year and all of these amenities were closed, they decided to increase the rent by $200+ LOL. So we didn’t get the amenities we were being charged for a whole year and you want to charge us more? Ridiculous. Their new package service is useless - they will charge your rent $20/month just to get your packages… so ridiculous.
