I am satisfied with the location (proximity to work) and the general appearance of the apartment (and great view), but I'm not positive that the cost is justified for my situation. In general, I am happy with the accomodations and there haven't been many problems, but the building is a little obviously outdated in some aspects.

Great building, amenities, staff, and location are excellent, but they badly need to replace a lot of equipment in the fitness center. The gym is awesome and one of the reasons I moved in, but the barbells and plates are barely serviceable at this point

Grand plaza is a terrific place to live. The amenities are top notch, and well maintained. I have also never lived in a building where the other residents were so friendly. The dog park is also a great addition!

Great community, great amnesties, great management and door staff. Neighborhood has a lot to offer. The view on higher floors is priceless. Grocery stores next to the building, is a life saver. Riverwalk being 5 minutes walk away, is a huge plus.

I have had an overall positive experience in this community. The door staff is very friendly and the building is kept clean and organized. My one-bedroom unit is very spacious and has a balcony which I enjoy.

Grand Plaza is a very nice place to live. It is clean and well managed. It is extremely convenient having Jewel right downstairs! The location is amazing and some of the best restaurants in the city are within walking distance.

The apartment is in such a great location- right outside the red line and there is a Jewel on the first floor. The apartment staff and residents have all been friendly. The amenities are great- pool, gym, party rooms. The rent is a little high, but definitely worth it, especially with the views and all the things the building offers. Even during the riots over the summer (in 2020), I felt very safe in my actual building.

We have found that our Neighbors are not very friendly or outgoing. The sirens from the fire department and police are very loud all throughout the night from outside and the walls are pretty thin. Other than that everything is is pretty good

I haven't been here too long, although the building is very nice along with the staff members that I have met. Moving in was very easy, as they allowed me to park a Uhaul truck and utilize the freight elevator.

The building has great amenities and apartments are updated. Great location, close to everything and to public transportation. Apartments have a good floor plan, very spacious. Downsides: area is very noisy.

Great community. Close to everything. Spacious. Moving in prior to COVID had a great impact on the ability to enjoy the community to the fullest. The team did their best to make the experience still be enjoyable.

GP is the finest community I have found in Chicago River North. The amenities are unsurpassed. The staff is amazing. The people in the community are tremendously friendly. It's a pretty big family. Love it here.

Great location, slightly dated but altogether nice. Some construction ongoing in the building so can be loud but nice pool and gym etc friendly folks around and decent kitchen appliances. Elevators can take days to come...

Overall, the building is managed and serviced well and kept very clean. I love my renovated unit and the outdoor and community spaces are nice perks, though somewhat dated. The building maintenance and service staff is above average and very responsive.

I rented a studio apartment on the 18th floor facing west, overlooking the apartment's pool. The price is affordable, there is a lot of sunlight, a large balcony, and the design of the apartment is a great use of space; more than enough room for myself. It is a bit noisy as the complex is near a fire department, but noise is to be expected in the city. Appliances within the unit feel very new. The amenities are great but some areas may not be perfectly clean at all times, given the size of the complex.

It's been amazing to live at Grand Plaza so far! Overall, I have no complaints about management staff or the condition of my apartment. The area is in the heart of River North and can sometimes feel busy (elevator wait times, etc.), but I personally like the 'hustle and bustle' feel.

Great experience so far. Staff has been helpful and welcoming. All requests were completed day of and all concerns about moving in and existing during these trying times have been met with extreme caution and care.

We love our apartment at Grand Plaza. The apartment unit is modern. Amenities (pool, gym, party room, library, track) are very well-kept. Maintenance is quick to resolve any issues. Great location and city views.

Overall, it's been great. However, given the recent circumstances and loss of amenity use due to COVID-19 I am extremely disappointed that management has not provided residents with a rent reduction equivalent to the cost in loss of amenities.

The amenities in the building are amazing. The fitness center, pool, computer lab, party room, and etc are my favorite part of the building as well as the staff. The location is also is the best in the city. It's so close and convenient to everything.

The overall move-in process was very positive. The maintenance staff was terrific to work with, and assisted throughout the move. The staff provided luggage carts and dollies that made the process of moving a breeze. The units are very spacious compared to our previous units, and the design of the space has allowed us to decorate and fill the space as we like.

Not only is this place the loudest apartment building in the entire 10 block area (I hear a siren noise every 30 mins working from home on the 38th floor, as well as horrific drilling, making getting ANY rest / sleeping nearly impossible), it is also situated on a street that is arguably one of the more shady blocks in all of River North. We had a shooting a few weeks ago on the Red Line train station that had the cops block off the entire building block, a murder in the building a few years ago, and lastly, a consistent array of homeless people that favor the building block / building, which makes coming home late at night unsafe. And don't get me started on how the building had a consistent stream of random Airbnb tenants that the *building* rented out, which came with their set of smoking, noise and safety complaints (one was directly next to me). At some point, there were so many people coming and going, I thought they were running a hotel. Yet, during these challenging COVID-19 times, the building refuses to lower rents, even for their current high rent paying tenants such as myself (north of $2,700/month for a one bedroom). When I asked the management to consider lowering the rent at contract re-signing time for a 3 year timely paying tenant (me), they refused. And this is after the building (rightly) closed down the gym, pool room, outside pool, office room, break room and most of the amenities due to COVID-19 regulations. Still, they want to charge a premium for living in this "luxury" building. One thing that this building is good for are the maintenance and front door staff. The maintenance staff work tirelessly and endlessly to keep the building clean, and stay very busy with what seem like an endless array of plumbing and elevator issues. The front door staff (shout out to Chris and Pierre) are generally attentive, and were very quick to respond to an out of control party on my floor two weeks ago by threatening to call the cops, as the tenants weren't responsive to the first three times they were asked to quiet down. So, if you think about paying a lot of money for this "luxury" building in a "great" location area, think again.

We have only been in the building for a little over a week, but so far everything has been great. The dog run is amazing to have in the building, along with the gym and library. Very excited for summer to hangout by the pool!

I enjoyed this experience but do not feel like the website did this apartment building justice. Seeing the newly renovated rooms and options that are being implemented into these rooms and buildings are what won me over!
