Overall good experience I'd recommend. Some areas would do with renovating but staff are lovely to deal with. Very pet friendly and pool is great in the summertime. Have some social events regularly here.

The building is in a great location, but there is a lot of crime that has started in the area and the building never notifies you of it. The pool is great, but dirty. And the front doormen are awful..

I moved to Chicago in 2021 and Grand Plaza was the first apartment building I ever lived in. I have had an amazing experience so far. Maintenance and the office are always so responsive and are willing to go the extra mile. I'll definitely be staying here for the next couple years!

It's been a really nice community. I love the area it's in and how nice the units are. It's pretty pricey and I've heard the rent increases are brutal but that's to be expected. I love the amenities and that's its right in front of the red line so I have a quick transportation

I have enjoyed my time at this apartment. I moved here for the location and have learned I do not love the location mainly due to the crime activity in the area and not totally safe outside of the building. Inside my apartment, I feel completely safe and think the doormen do a great job of ensuring their residents safety but as soon as you step out of the apartment there are multiple homeless people stationed outside that is unwelcoming.

Grand Plaza is in the heart of River North in one of the best locations you can find. The views are spectacular and you are in the middle of the action of bars and clubs. This place defines the hustle.

It's okay. Staff is really nice but the elevators are frequently broken and take a lot of time to get fixed, which means it takes 5-10 minutes to get outside. Neighbors can be really noisy and have people banging on their door for 20+ minutes at 3am.

The balcony and location are fantastic - super close to public transit, groceries, shopping, etc. There's a lot of space to host, as well, and even though the apartment isn't the most modern, it's very home-y and it's not poorly taken care of. I wish there were more storage and more room in the kitchen, but ultimately I am enjoying myself. The elevators are broken often, but because there are three of them it's not the worst thing in the world. I think the amenities are great.

Overall the staff is very welcoming and helpful. I appreciated the front desk and package room assistance too, always very responsive and sincere. The outdoor pool deck is also a great time with friends or other tenants that hosts many fun activities for all ages.

Very good so far, friendly people and great location. Close to a lot of bars and restaurants. The parking isn't the cheapest but it can be convenient at times. Moving in and out of the building can be tricky with the service elevator but not bad

It checks temporary boxes. If you have a big dog and living in the city this has a nice option of a dog park. Tara is very kind, helpful and understanding. Would make much more sense to have central air conditioning throughout the building.

Very nice place to be, amenities are great and plentiful, space is great both in unit as well as on common floors, a bit expensive but the location is a big factor to that. Haven't had any issues that weren't resolved quickly.

A great place to live in a great location. Very spacious units with great amenities. I chose this apartment without being able to tour it in person and it has been perfect. The fitness center and in unit laundry is awesome.

I love this community. The amenities are amazing, view is beautiful, and space is great. The main reason why I moved in was because of the dog park and location next to public transit. I also love that management does a great job at hosting community events, like the summer happy hours! The residents here really get to know each other with the help of the community events.

Great community and staff. Beautiful views and spacious apartments. Right in the heart of River North with access to great restaurants, Michigan Ave shopping and the lakefront. The amenities in the building are fabulous as well

Overall positive. Workout space is very adequate/has all you need. A ton of room in 2 bed 2 bath for the price. Kitchen is great. Outside get's dangerous at night. Best part of living here is the location, whether you work in south loop, west loop, or want to get to old town for a night out, the red line is a skip away..

Given river north's average monthly rent, this place is a steal for all that it offers. Many amenities including a basketball court, outdoor pool, running track, game/media room, library with free daily coffee, and what really sold me on this place, the dog run. I can't imagine another high rise in river north having a better space in the building for dogs. River north can be noisy but the building does a very good job at filtering the street level noise and I rarely ever hear my neighbors. The balcony in my south facing unit is huge and offers a ton of light to bask in. The community is growing with a healthy amount of social activities planned throughout the month that allow for getting to know one's neighbors. Check out Grand Plaza, it's well worth the visit and living here has never been regretted.
