We love grand plaza. The dog run is a HUGE part of why we chose to live here. I've met a lot of friends through the dog park and the community events. The staff is wonderful and the maintenance people are so efficient and kind. Highly recommend!

I believe you get the best bang for your buck in this neighborhood. Outside of parking rates (which is typical for the area), this specific unit I live in has a ton of closet space, nice in-unit washer and dryer machines, ample sunlight, and a functional layout.

This was a great building / location to move to when first moving to Chicago. It gave me the true feel of living in the city. Living in River North puts you writhin walking distance of so many of the iconic Chicago fixtures.

Great apartment and space for the price. Large units. Good amenities. Building management is quick to respond. Only concern is pricing of the garage. Have to park in a different spot each time. Garage is messy. And overly expensive.

This apartment building is amazing. The amenities are great, the apartments are big for being in the city, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend renting through this company!

Moving into Grand Plaza was such a smooth process. It was a no brainer that I wanted this Apartment and the leasing office was of great support to help me sign. I look forward to the rest of my time at Grand Plaza!

Grand Plaza has been a very welcoming and satisfactory community that I have been able to call home for the past several years. From the welcoming staff and homey neighbors I am glad to be apart of the community for years to come.

I just moved in and it's been a great experience so far! The units are spacious and clean, and the building itself is great. I really found my home here and I'm so grateful. Zena and the rest of the property staff are the reason so many people love it here

The building and rooms offer great value for the price. Probably the best location in Chicago, great amenities, and it has a grocery store inside of it. I wish it had a better system for bike storage. It's currently in the 3rd floor of the parking garage, which is dangerous and inconvenient. It takes a bit to get used to the noises of the city: motorcycles/cars, sirens (it's two blocks from the fire station), and loud music from the bars/cars.

I don't feel like I belong here and it's a shame because the staff is great and the amenities are awesome. Some neighbors are not as welcoming which is unfortunate so that why I will be leaving after my lease is up.

I do not like my stay at Grand Plaza. The staff barely speaks and some are just down right rude. It's a young apartment so there's always loud music and parties going on. Not really pet friendly although it promotes that. The mailroom can be a nightmare when the mail attendant isn't there. I'm not sure their hours. There are some decent amenities. Although there are 3 elevators to get to your floor it can be a challenge while waiting. Location is cool but very very busy once you step outside there's always a hustle and bustle. If you're paying for parking on holidays you can barely find a parking spot. I will not be renewing my lease.

Be aware of this building, management is not interested in doing a good job and delivering service to their residents. They are more interested in having a unit occupied even if it means that the unit is not ready to be occupied by tenants. When I moved in, my washer and dryer were covered in mold, the bathroom was covered in urine, the shower/tub area needed to be redone, and flooring repairs still need to be made. When I toured the unit, I was told that this would all be addressed and the unit would be move-in ready. It's been 9 days since I've been living here and I'm still living in a unit that was not move-in ready. When I brought up these concerns to management, they were complacent and told me to put in maintenance requests. I had to chase down and follow up with management and maintenance to get things done. Management has offered nothing but an paltry apology instead of trying to actually correct the issues and deliver on their promise to make a unit move-in ready. This has been a very disappointing experience with management. Maintenance has been responsive, but very slow to solve problems. For what they charge for these units, residents can expect an adequate level of service and response when living in this community. Management is not delivering on this. Prospective tenants don't need to look much further than the other reviews of this building before deciding to rent elsewhere. Avoid!

This apartment complex has pretty good amenities. The maintenance staff responds quickly to any concerns you have and is very helpful. It is in a great location, walking distance to many places and right by the Red Line (but it is underground so not noisy). The 1 bedroom is the perfect size for me and a dog and the layout works really well for us. The doormen are there 24/7 and are very helpful.

Overrated. Other than the location and the views there are not much to like about this building. Very noisy and crime infested area recently and lots of issues with apartments and the building general.

I had a friend recommend this apartment building and from the first time I stepped into the building, I knew it was a perfect fit. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, the common spaces are always clean, the amenities are amazing, the building is pet friendly, and I love the community feel with all the residents. This is truly the perfect place to live!

This building is located in a great city location- near public transit and things to do. Units have adequate square footage for the price. The community center and gym are clean and the office staff is always responsive. Would recommend.

The management and staff are friendly and professional. Maintenance responds quickly and fixes problem immediately. For example, our clothes dryer broke. Within hours, they had replaced it with a new unit. We started in a large one bedroom and moved to a larger two bedroom on a different floor. On both floors, friendly community. Great location.

As a lifelong Chicagoan and city worker, I love this building. Maintenance staff has been efficient, door staff is friendly and and personable. Community events, very well maintained common areas and the POOL. The best part of living here is being steps from everything. This is the true heart of Chicago and I feel the pulse every day and every night. I'm absolutely satisfied with this rental

Although we've only been at Grand Plaza for 6 months, so far everything has been great. From the staff, amenities, apartment space/layout, location and the price we were able to get, it couldn't be beat. We look forward to the remainder of our lease and plan on renewing our lease!

It's been great. I'd prefer a call each time someone visits or delivers food. Sometimes people just make it up to the apartment without any prior notification. Access to the grills all year round would be nice as well

I love the people here. All seem to be young adults with the same mindset and busy schedule as myself. The facilities are very nice and the balcony is awesome. Coming home to a beautiful sunset is great.

This is a really great apartment. It's in a great location near downtown but feels safe with 24/7 doorman. Right off the red line for a quick commute. It is very organized with packages, waste disposal, and maintenance of common areas. Happy hours and free food events are great. They respond to concerns and requests immediately. Super pet friendly. Very impressed overall and plan to live here for the foreseeable future.
