The Grans is a perfect location, right off of the Red Line and a block or two away from the many restaurants and bars. The staff is amazing to work with. However, most importantly the apartments are beautiful - they recently renovated a portion, however the older models are still nice and well priced.

Love it so far!

I moved in on Monday and in just two days we are loving everything about it. Staff and maintenance people are very kind and willing to help with everything. Great location. Beautiful finished. LARGE one bedroom. They even installed additional shelving so that my boyfriend and I could fit our stuff comfortably.

The building is lively and the people are welcoming. The amenities are great and clean with actively updated building-wide activities that make Grand Plaza stand out from the others. The package room is spacious and prevents people from stealing through the use of codes and signatures. The matianace is very fast and nice.

Located in River North, this community has great access to the city of Chicago. Easy ability to get on the public transportation, walks to the river walk and the lake as well as great outdoor space in the building. Amenities are clean and easy to use.

My Fiancé and I were very lucky to meet Halli early on in our search for an apartment. We looked elsewhere but kept coming back to Grand Plaza. Halli was awesome in terms of communicating details and working with us to make sure the move in process would go smoothly. 10/10 recommend the building and are very happy with the staff too

Great location and excellent building facilities. I loke that there is a supermarket so close too. The gym is also great and the business facilities are useful for things like printings. Great having a managed mail room too.

I just moved into Grand Plaza and so far I love it here. The process of touring and then applying and leasing my unit was seamless thanks to Halli in the leasing office. She quickly responded to every question I had (and I was very particular with wanting a specific type of unit). She was very professional and helped me find the perfect apartment. When I showed up to move in, my keys were ready for me and the apartment was clean and in excellent condition. So far, all of the tenants I've met are all friendly and courteous. Many tenants I've spoken to have lived here for 3-5 years too, meaning people enjoy living here and choose to renew their leases. The amenities here are fantastic and the building staff are all so nice and friendly and happy to help in any way they can. The location is fantastic with a grocery store below the building and a Trader Joe's a block and a half away. The only minor thing is that the loading dock is a bit of a walk away from the elevator. I hired movers though and Grand Plaza reserved an elevator for my move in, so it wasn't a problem. I just wouldn't recommend moving in without help from professional movers.

The management allows dogs that are on the Restricted Breed List to live at Grand Plaza and use the dog park. Management is definitely aware of these dogs as these dogs attend various community events and gatherings in which management also attends. These dogs are on the restricted breed list for a reason, as they are aggressive, but management does not enforce their own rules that they make to keep residents and other dogs safe.

This has been the easiest move I have ever made. It was an easy decision for me once I saw the unit but more importantly the warmth and care of Halli, my leasing professional, made all the difference. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel welcomed, accepted and right at home. The process to sign the lease and get my keys was very straight-forward as well. Halli was responsive and was able to quickly provide me with peace of mind on all moving day to-do’s. Now that I’m moved in, I certainly know I made a great decision. Overall very nice. The biggest issues I have are the location, while great being a Jewel and Red Line stop, brings it own issues with loitering and criminal activity. The other issue is the AC/Heat is a 2 pipe system, so there a couple months a year where it is very hot in the apartment because the heat is turned on too early or the AC on too late, so can be very uncomfortable.

Apartment is even better than the photos!! Moved in during the heat of the pandemic and ever since it has been the best apartment experience I've ever had. The management is amazing, the leasing office staff is wonderful and the maintenance crew is a dream. I would absolutely recommend to anyone and everyone.

Great move in specials when moving in, responsive staff, and amenities are great. The building has a number of community events and happy hours to get residents acquainted with each other. Only negative is parking is expensive, but comparable to nearby garages for the area.

We do love living here - 3rd lease we've signed in our unit! It is amazing having a pool in the summer and the location can't be beat. The main office does a very nice job at little fun events/giveaways for residents as well. Some downsides do include that it's an incredibly loud area and that it's gotten increasingly suspicious to walk around the neighborhood at night around the building. Lastly, the heat/AC and humidifiers/dehumidifiers are controlled by the building and not by each individual tenant, which does make the apartment climate uncomfortable for a good chunk of the year.

Location is great in terms of access to public transportation and convenience, but you definitely give up any quiet. There are homeless people right when you walk out of the door and major foot traffic from the Jewel and red line. The apartment itself is nice for what the rent. The staff is great and they do a lot of community activities (happy hour, donuts in the lobby ect).

The community is pretty sick. Every amenity you could want, giant units with big balconies and high views, a dog park, a club style pool, and the location is excellent. The only area I wouldn't recommend is parking!

Too expensive and crime is too high in the area. People get shot in the parking garage. We have had our apartment flood multiple times. They do not try to keep residents and only focus on offering deals for new applicants.
