This is a nice clean community. The rent is reasonable given the market. Paying rent is very easy for this apartment. I just need to go to web portal. The neighbors have also been very friendly. There have been a couple plumbing incidents at my apartment which was eventually handled by the maintenance staff.

Clean, Nice and very friendly staff. The only thing that needs a little change is the maintenance. The maintenance guys themselves are very professional, it is just the time it takes to get a maintenance request resolved. If I put up a maintenance request, it should be resolved within a week max.

Great value. I have a very nice unit with plenty of space for my family. After going through a long and difficult divorce, I was able to start over and feel at home quickly. The management team is always very responsive to my concerns and I have not had any issues.

Not safe..

I've lived here for five years -for the first 3 years it was wonderful and affordable, it became unsafe with gangs operating in the parking lots over the last 1-2 years crime is very bad it's not safe to go outside you can't enjoy the perks people break into these buildings all the time and there are numerous people living here that are not even tenants. Something really needs to happen because it's obviously going to with the open gangs in the parking lots the migrants are here and not all of them are here seeking asylum some are seeking to do crime. My building's been broken into twice already.

Se hizo una solicitud de reparaci?n dl piso de sala, a los 3 meses se comenzo6a levantar lami as del piso, varios correos se enviaron, vinieron a revisar, tomaron fotos, la gerencia nego la reparaci?n. ?Como se puede renovar por m?s tiempo, viviendo con un piso da?ado? No es correcto. Obviamente, el problema se ha auditado y no quieren dar soluci?n. Ese piso qued? mal colocado. Si las cosas, no se solucionan a tiempo, entonces el da?o seguir? y los costos tambi?n se ver?n afectados. Del resto, siempre han respondido a nuestras solicitudes. Gracias

Not bad but some people still don't pick up after there dog and some people don't have them on leash and the rent is getting expensive just for a 1 bedroom I live alone with my dog and I'm struggling I'm probably gonna have to move again probably into a studio

A great first apartment, in a great location! Very safe feeling community with a lot nearby. But look out for extra charges (i.e. the cost of having a pet is monthly AND a 1 time fee AND an extra cleaning fee when you move out...). They updated the laundry machines and floors which was really nice. Overall, I've been very happy and feel safe at this apartment. Aside from the noisy creaky floors of upstairs neighbors in older buildings, and the layers of paint you'll find in any older apartment, you'd hardly be able to tell its an old one. They did a nice job with it.

Stressful

I absolutely do not recommend this apartment complex. I have lived here for over three years. I got stuck here during Covid and then last year I lost my job. Maintenance is OK if you get an English-speaking person. Their vendors are low quality and again often do not speak English. The property manager acts only if he is forced to. He takes the path of least resistance. They will tow your car if your license plate is expired without any warning, even if you have a resident sticker. The grounds are shabby unless the units are located near the office for show. The floors are very thin , and you will pray hoping that the resident above you is considerate. A lot of turnover in our building. People staying three months, six months, then gone. The people above us, across, behind us all here less than 6 months. They did install cameras which is a good thing for them. They also have a security company driving around the complex until midnight or so. Before the cameras I heard gun shots outside our window. TI Communities claims to be a socially responsible management company, but it really treats residents like second class citizens. Do not even go to the office. They will rein you in. The rent is about $100 less per month than other apartment complexes. Not worth it at all.

I love the area and the property but one thing it's been a problem lately and I'm frustrated since the day they change the laundry machines it's hard to do laundry ever again now the app on those machines isn't working properly and and seriously what's the freaking point you changing machines that no one know how to freaking use them that's just stupid. what about old people who dont know how to use technology yet. So basically looks like we are paying rent but the property dosen care how or where you do your laundry's. This need to ba change this isn't fair we paying rent and not have anywhere to clean.

Disappointed

Would be nice if I could enjoy the view and relax on my balcony unfortunately I STILL don't have one after being promised one over a year ago.. haven't even started on the rest. Oh yeah.. and they don't take money rent for that, they just make you pay more when your lease is up.

Sometimes nightmares upstairs floor bad condition and Tennant walking all night long. No attention from office. Other thing is that for paying the rent we have to pay fees. Any maintenance is a good service and good people. Thanks

Needs improvement with management and the older buildings with upkeep. The older buildings dont get much attention and the stairs are always needing rebuilding. They did finally replace the carpet which was nice

My overall experience is good. There are some minor things in the apartments could use some updating. But the neighbors are all very friendly and I do enjoy the fact that there is security often patrolling the parking lots. There are still some issues with noisy tenants and package delivery as well as mail arent that great. But Ive had a good experience so far

Awesome so far. Havent had any issues in the month Ive been at Ellyn crossing. Its been great experience especially for my first rental. The community is very friendly. I am very happy with the apartment. I had a couple issues but maintenance was awesome and fixed quickly. Shout out to Ricky.

It has been good living here however I think I pay more than worth pool isn't always open should be open a little longer gym room equipment could be better with directions how to use. Laundry washer and dryer sometimes works. I have good neighbors feel safe going for walks around my buildings no problem parking and when I have guest they can grass is always cut. And maintained vacuum hallway.

I've been here for almost 15 years now. I'm very pleased and satisfied with Ellyn Crossing. Nice place. People respect each other. Far enough from the city to avoid the rush, but close enough to go and enjoy it. It's located close to the major commercial and retailing companies in the country. That's very convenient.

Ellyn Crossing is a great community with professional staffs. I had a great experience with the team. Management is very approachable and willing to listen. Maintenance team is the best especially Rickey. He takes care of every issue as his priority. Staff responded quickly. Also, a great thanks to the security team out there, keeping us safe.
