Awesome so far. Havent had any issues in the month Ive been at Ellyn crossing. Its been great experience especially for my first rental. The community is very friendly. I am very happy with the apartment. I had a couple issues but maintenance was awesome and fixed quickly. Shout out to Ricky.

It has been good living here however I think I pay more than worth pool isn't always open should be open a little longer gym room equipment could be better with directions how to use. Laundry washer and dryer sometimes works. I have good neighbors feel safe going for walks around my buildings no problem parking and when I have guest they can grass is always cut. And maintained vacuum hallway.

I've been here for almost 15 years now. I'm very pleased and satisfied with Ellyn Crossing. Nice place. People respect each other. Far enough from the city to avoid the rush, but close enough to go and enjoy it. It's located close to the major commercial and retailing companies in the country. That's very convenient.

Ellyn Crossing is a great community with professional staffs. I had a great experience with the team. Management is very approachable and willing to listen. Maintenance team is the best especially Rickey. He takes care of every issue as his priority. Staff responded quickly. Also, a great thanks to the security team out there, keeping us safe.

Living at Ellyn Crossing apartment is a very pleasant experience overall. The staff is very caring and always willing to help. I like to thank Ellyn Crossing team for keeping up the good work. I would like to mention Rickey, the maintenance fellow this time. He is such a good person and always very professional. He is always on time and no need to wait so long. He cares about every 'Maintenace issue' and keep it as his priority. I really appreciate his dedication and willingness to help out the residents.

While those in the office have always been helpful if/when I needed it, there are a lot of things that could use improving. I know new management is in the process of trying to implement new positive changes, but I think there needs to be a higher level of honesty and transparency when it comes to the so-called "amenities" that people pay for and don't even get to utilize. The staff has always been friendly, and I'm sure are doing their best, but I will not be renewing my lease with ellyn crossing. I am a bit upset about not being able to use my balcony when moving in. No one informed me construction was going to be done. Had I known this, I would've taken a different apartment. Seeing as I won't be able to use my balcony for what is looking like the entire term of my lease, I think rent should have been lower. Using the pool in the summer was more of a hassle than a perk. The hours constantly changed, the rules weren't followed and the pool was closed more than it was open. I also was upset to find out the hours of the gym. It is only open when the office is. I have an 8-5 job. So the only people who get to utilize this is people who aren't working? That makes no sense to me.

I've lived in places above pawn shops that were better than this between the price leasing office having an attitude problem and maintenance being completely unprofessional I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone else because I don't want to see a friend or a love one go through the same stuff I did

Decent for the price. Water is turned off frequently, balcony paid for then destroyed, can smell my neighbors kitchen thru the pipes on the roof. Some business across the parking lot making loud noises in middle of the night. Good parking though.

This place is disgusting. Unprofessional. Dirty. Slow. And cheap. So if thats what you want. Come here. They have to redo work. They send guys that know less than I do about repairs. Theyre late. They come into your place without permission. They dont communicate.

Very quiet and no worrying about my house. The maintenance team put my screen in very quickly and they always lock the door when they are finish. Very respectful to my place and very clean, I like the rental Portal and message board

All the maintenance people throw everything when they replace my refrigerator... They didn't care they came with the dirty feet all over the place my carpet gut messed up and put the bad refrigerator back in theory a mystery struggling to get them replaced again also I have a closet doors that've been complained for a while have not been taking any action therefore I will not recommend this place to anyone

I love living here . Everyone in the office is willing to help you no matter what the situation is . I have a 2 bedroom I wish it was a tad bit bigger for the amount of rent paid but I love it here ! When I first moved in it was so clean and perfect.. I never had any issues in here other than my sliding closet doors coming off the hinges . But everything else has been exceptional ! Just need our balconies back and Ill be a resident for a while!

The new management group seems to be doing a much better job than the last, the prices are getting a bit much for the space. They are doing a great job and much more involvement with the complex. The seem to be on top of things as they happen.

The area is very quiet, police is always around to protect and they own security! Thats a PLUS!!! And the newly remodeled apartment is gorgeous, just a little squirrels situation but they are working on that, until the patios are placed, maintenance is always quick to respond and fix the problems!!! NO ROACHES or mice ! The staff in the office is nice and responsive! Shopping centers and plenty of restaurants are around, very pet friendly, everyone is nice , there really no trash all over the place. Police come when it get a little to loud and crazy! The staff dont tolerate bad behavior love that. In all its a nice start for ur first apartment trying to save and to grow! And I might upgrade to a 2 bd next leasing!! I just really like the peace at night!!!

moved into this complex in July. When going on my tour, I was told we were getting new balconies, its now almost September and the balconies are still not put up, and I am assuming since it is almost winter they wont be fixed until spring. I was also told that the fee was refundable, and I still have not received my refund for my administrative fee. I have put in service request that have not been answered and had to find a quick fix on my own. The entire complex is always dirty, from bottles to trash to dog crap. Its disgusting. I moved here with the intent on living in a good community for me and my son, it is not up to par. I was given the incorrect laundry card when moving in and had to pay to get the correct card for the laundry in my building, not to mention they are continuously breaking. The pool is constantly closed, and instead of having someone monitor the pool, management punishes the entire complex by closing the pool. Even when they did have a pool attendant, the attendant was not checking people in to see if they were residents and not correcting unsafe or obnoxious behavior. So I dont see the point in closing the pool when the person hired to do their job isnt even doing it correctly. Not to mention you could not tell who the pool attendant was due to them not having a uniform. I dont understand why I am being charged for these additional amenities if they are never available. And, if management knows the people whos children are bullying others at the pool, instead of closing it why not issue the parents of the bullies a fine or citation? Also the neighbors are constantly screaming in the hallways and leaving their garbage outside their doors for days. The gym and playground are a joke, not taken care of and in need of updating. The unit is always hot because of the layout with the AC. Parking is a joke, people will take up two spots, pull in completely slanted, or block cars while waiting instead of pulling into a parking spot. Management has no answers to any questions and are hardly on the same page because of lack of communication, I have been told multiple different things by the people in the office and have to figure things out myself because nobody knows whats going on in this complex. Management presents the complex as upscale, in reality its a cesspool of inconveniences and falsified information just to get people to move in. They have lazy management skills, and have promised that they are trying to update the complex all while leaving piles of their half finished projects and promises scattered around the property. Safe to say unless there is a change within management and the community I will not be renewing my lease once its up. They also have no on call manager for emergencies, so if anything happens before office hours you wont be notified until someone comes in. Please heed my warning, do not move here. Unless you are satisfied with low quality way of living.

If you are looking for cheap this is the place. They are rude when a tenant has an issue and basically call them liars. They only respond to emails when it's advantageous to them but if it's a problem you will never get a reply.

Overall good community and complex.. older units need upgraded appliances and flooring .. paint.. I wish mailboxes and packages would in a more controlled indoor environment like many new complexes .. same with storage since the units are very small..rents are reasonable compared to others in the area

My experience living in this community after almost a month is being great! The appartment is small but affordable, in a great location, and is quiet neighborhood. I don't like the window AC units, but it works great. And the laundry room area is close to my unit, but people never pay attention to their loads.

Its a great and safe place to live, they have security driving around at night. My leasing agent was amazing with any questions i had and replied within a fair amount of time. I just dont appreciate the lack of communication from maintenance or the efficiency from their end.

Do not move here! They tore down the balconies last year and have yet to rebuild. They have not considered giving vouchers for the inconvenience. They dug up giant holes out front and the smell is awful. They claim the holes are for new balconies but still NO BALCONIES built. Maintenance knocks twice and enters your apartment and they love to enter when you're not home. Considering what happened to Miya Marcano thats extremely dangerous. The police are here once a week. Do not move here.

I enjoy my neighbors and those in my building. Everyone is quiet, friendly, stays to themselves but sociable when spoken to. Management and staff are always so pleasant and helpful. Laundry unit is close by and kept clean.

It has been up and down but overall a safe place for my son to grow up. I dont like the fact that property management changes every year. It just make me feel something not right is going on. Also the apartments are way too small for the price. And now that theyve taken all of the balcony away space is limited. I dont like it

Ridiculously loud neighbors, garbage always in front of the dumpster on the ground, can never find parking and I have to walk far to get to my unit, garbage always in the front in the grass, sketchy neighbors, constant stomping from the people above us, not allowed to use balconies since we moved in. Now we have no balconies and I dont see them fixing them anytime soon. A lot of punk little kids wondering the complex with no parents that are hitting peoples doors, dragging bike racks in the middle of the lot etc. when u complain to the office usually u never hear back from them or can even talk to someone and when they do they dont care or ever follow up with you. I like my unit alone and its clean inside and Im happy with that.. wish I can pick up my unit and move it somewhere else lol. Definitely wouldnt recommend this area.

My experience in this community has been okay I am still learning the community and how to get around. Also, the neighbors are very friendly and helpful when it comes to certain things and it helps me become more comfortable living in this apartment.
