Good Experience
I think that a big portion of anyone's experience of Woods of Britton depends on which building you are in. I lived right off of the golf course. I thought that the complex was great for what we needed. The office staff and maintenance staff were awesome. My A/C stopped working over the summer with two kids under 3 at home. The maintenance manager was to our apartment within half an hour and stayed there until it was working well. We also had a bad experience with our neighbors above us throwing cigarettes and trash onto our patio, but the office staff had it cleaned and resolved. Overall it was great for what we were looking for. I would recommend, like with any apartment, to check out where your apartment will be and the cleanliness of the surrounding neighbors.

My husband and I moved into the The Woods of Britton 1 1/2 years ago. We have loved living here from the beginning. We love how quiet the complex is and how nice the grounds are. The parking has been excellent, the location is wonderful and the apartment itself is great. Our friends and family have always commented on what a nice complex and apartment it is. We recently purchased our first home and will be moving out in a couple of weeks. We're excited to begin the next chapter of our lives but sad to say goodbye to the Woods of Britton. We would recommend this complex to everyone!

dirty
The grounds around my apartment are always deplorable. Can't they take a little time and clean up the cigarette butts and trash it would be nice. Live here if you want to live in the hood. I'm moving up the street in Marh and can't wait. I drive the grounds at my new place on my way home from work, and I have never seen anything on the ground. Go to Conner Farms...much nicer!

Nice place to live
I've lived at Woods of Britton for about six months now. I'm suprised to see the recent negative postings! I've liked everything about the place so far. I looked at a ton of places in Indy and the apartments were by far the nicest inside, plus the washer and dryer in unit is a huge plus. The neighboorhood is very nice and well kept. The only problem I had was a pipe leaking in my apartment, but they came the same day to fix it. The staff is friendly, and the maintanance people are very helpful as well. I'm a young female that lives alone and I feel very safe here. I have not seen anything being shady, and Fishers is alot nicer then alot of other areas I've seen in Indy. Honestly it's almost a little too quiet here, people seem to keep to themselves alot. Good place for a couples and families, but if you are young (just out of college like me) and looking for alot of young professionals around and people to socialize with, this is probably not the place. Regardless though I've been happy with everything here and definitely can appreciate feeling safe and secure here. I still live here so cannot comment on move out and deposits but with the way staff has been shouldn't be a problem!

Proud to Work at The Woods of Britton
Simply put, our happy residents, past and present, far exceed those who have left unhappy.

In response to "management"
First of all, my review was not malicious, nor did I ever say that you "boasted" having the worst employees. Why would anyone take pride in that fact? When attempting to convey the staff of the Woods of Britton as intelligent and customer-centric, perhaps you should use words in the correct context. (Of course, the educational requirements to be an apartment employee are not the highest) Not once was I malicious in my review. My experience at Woods of Britton simply wasn't the best. I am sure this apartment is an ideal situation for a few select people, I am just warning renters to be careful. I have heard from several friends and others who have lived at the WOB in the past, and they have all experienced issues with ridiculous charges upon their move out. It just seems that after paying 900.00 a month, it wouldn't be necessary to find other ways to charge people at the end of their lease. Oh well, I am sure that all of us were "irresponsible" owners. Wow, their must be a lot of us that lived there! Anyways, I digress. Fortunately for me, I was finacially able to pay off the unwarranted charges upon move out with ease, thus eradicating all ties with the Woods of Britton. I simply wrote the review to warn future potential renters who might not have the same financial freedoms, in turn causing strain upon them when moving out. Great post Chad, keep up the good work! :)

Nice place, but clearly on the decline.
I've been living in the Woods of Britton for over a year and my opinion of the place is lukewarm. Its cleaner than most other communities in the same price range. However, the reason I chose WOB to begin was that it appeared quieter and more oriented to the young professional crowd as opposed to many of the places you will see near Broadripple or 96th street. However, just in the past few months or so it seems like there has been an influx of younger, louder, less respectful residents. Maybe thats to be expected as the surrounding area is getting built up a bit commercially and many homes/condos are up for sale and people are trying to leave the area. The WOB really can no longer bill itself as a quiet peaceful apartment community. It's getting fairly noisy, atleast it is in my building.

I Love it Here!
I have lived here for almost a year and I really enjoy living here. The grounds are so nice, the apartment has a lot of room and it's quiet. I feel completely safe here...especially compared to my last place I had in Castleton which was a nightmare. I researched just about every place in Fishers and NOblesville and found Woods of Britton to be the best by far.

Sadly disappointed
I was excited about moving to Woods of Britton and had heard so many good things. However, I think within the last 6 months the quality of people that are being approved to move in to these apartments has gone down hill. I think at one time there were more older professional adults living here. Now all I see moving in is young loud disrespectful people. The management company seems to be in denial that this apartment community needs a courtesy officer. Fishers used to be a nice neighborhood however it is becoming an extension of the east side of Indianapolis.

Sad to Say Goodbye
I've lived at The Woods of Britton for over three years and am only leaving because of a new job. My time here was wonderful! The ladies at the office are all so friendly and easy to deal with. I never had any problems with my apartment, the only exception was 1 noise disturbance (in 3 years!) from a loud TV last summer. The complex is very pretty and well maintained. I will miss everyone and everything!

Management is unethical and deceptive.
Be very careful of the onsite staff. I placed a deposit with them when I applied for residency and they will not return the funds even though the leasing agent specifically told me twice that the money was refunable, without exception.

I LOVE THE STAFF AT WOODS OF BRITTON!!!!
Ok, where shall I start!!! I've lived here for almost 3 years!!! They promised me a living experince like no other and they exceeded my expectations!!! They have several events per year to show their tenent appreciation. And let me tell you the events aren't shabby. The christmas breakfast is the best!!! The club house is beautiful and the public facilites and grounds are always keep nice. I've had great neighbors. My kids loves this place and the staff have always treated my kids 21 & 15 with parental concerned and respect!! The only reason I'm moving is because I must relocate, but if I have to move back to fishers and must rent you will see me again. So save a spot for me!!!LOL A very special thanks to Krista, Kathy, Terri, Afra,Jennifer, Sally and all others who have made this experience special!!

Just moved in....
We just moved here from out of state and we love it. We never got to visit the complex before moving, so our decision was based on apartmentratings.com, word of mouth, the on-line pictures and the incredible staff. The apartment is very big and so comfortable.

I think anyone would love it here....the grounds are so pretty and the people at the office so friendly.

Two thumbs up!!!!!!!!!!

A Resident Who Can Appreciate A Good Thing
I lived at The Woods for over 3 years and only moved out because I decided to buy a house. I really enjoyed my time there. The office staff was great; easy to talk to, professional, and always helpful. The grounds and landscaping were always very beautiful and well maintained.

I, unlike a previous reviewer, appreciated the fact that I lived in a "non" dog building. I've lived in other places where the neighbor's dogs barked constantly and left "little surprises" all around our building, so needless to say I was more than happy to move into one of these non-dog buildings. The truth is, living in any apartment can be noisy enough as you can't choose your neighbors, but at least you won't have to endure howling dogs. Believe me, I love dogs, but in my apartment, I love peace and quiet a little more.

My recommendation would be, yes, choose The Woods of Britton....you'll be glad you did!
Good in some things, not others
I've lived at TWOB for about 20 months. Overall, the place is pretty nice. The landscaping is better than most houses let alone apartment complexes. Pool area and fitness center are nice. I've had problems with some noisy neighbors above me. I've heard noises (not going to describe them) that I really don't want to hear. So, the insulation and construction leaves a lot to be desired. I had one problem that required nearly ten, yes nearly ten trips by maintenance to finally repair. But hey, it's better than Sunblest, Sunlake, SandCreek Woods, Cumberland Crossing, Wellington, or Lantern Woods. I'd recommend it. I live on a court and the parking isnt so good sometimes. I'd hate to have two cars.

Love this place!!!!!
The Woods of Britton is by far the best apartment complex I've ever lived at. The people in the office (leasing and maintenance) are superb. They are genuine, helpful, and actually seem to care about their residents. (what a concept!) The location is perfect, the apartments are great, the grounds are gorgeous, (can't wait until everything is in bloom!) and I plan on staying here for awhile. I'd rather live in this beautiful maintenance-free community than go into debt buying a copycat new construction house in a vinyl village.

I highly recommend!!!
Very nice place to stay and live :)
Very good location, not very far from shopping malls (15min JCP,----, SEARS,MACY's) and grocery stores (2 min Marsh and 8 min,WalMart,Meijer); but still quite and safe from the crouds of cars. Close to golf course with nice sidwalks around neighberhood. Nice fitness center and swimming pool (to many trees around so half of pool is covered with shadows during summer.

I've lived here for over a year now and this place is very nice compared to a ton of places i looked at before signing here. People complain about appliances and what not but if your main concern is appliances you should prolly buy a house and put your own appliances in. Living here is only temporary while i finish my undergrad and has been perfect. Staff is also great.

Excellent place to live!
I was transferred to Indiana due to a corporate relocation. We had to live in temporary housing until our home could be built. I was reluctant at first to live in an apartment, however, we didn't really have another alternative! My husband, daughter and I were shocked at how much we enjoyed living in the apartments. They are clean, repairs are handled promptly and the office team are exceptionally friendly and helpful. If we didn't have a house, we would move back there in a heart beat!
