Nice Place, Good staff, can be a little noisey
My 3 year old son & I lived at the Woods of Britton for 1 year, while I shopped for my new house. My experience was a really good ne. The office and mait staff were super helpful, always available & very flexible. Overall the only complaints I had were about them was the construction of the units, they were not very sound proof, & hte parking. I was on the top floor & at all hours of the day & night I could hear my neighbors TV, their dog & the younger people goofing outside. I complained to the office, but there was not much done about it. Parking could also be a pain, I lived in a corner unit & there were severl times when I had to park 2 buildings away & walk wih my 3 yr old because people in the neighboring units with multiple cars would park in my space.

A great place to live...
This is a great community for couples, although there are many families that have recently moved in [parking has recently become a problem because of this]. The location really can't be beat. The office staff is nice and willing to help. Overall, I have really enjoyed living here.

Absolutely Lovely!
Although I have not been a resident at Woods of Britton for long, I absolutely LOVE my apartment and the complex! The staff is so nice and helpful, I can't imagine anyone being unsatisfied with the service that the Woods of Britton provides. When I first moved in, it looked as if I was the very first person to live in my apartment! I am very pleased with everything that the Woods of Britton has to offer.

Awesome apartment living!
I consider myself truly blessed to have an apartment home here at the Woods of Britton. The view is breathtaking! The flowers are already in bloom and the grounds are flawlessly clean. I find myself gazing out the windows out into the woods and just thanking God He lead me to such a beautiful place to live. The office staff is amazing! My neighbors are fantastic! Thanks again Kathy! P.S. I just love gazing up at my new crystal clear skylight window....courtesy of the wayward golf ball!!!!!!

I wrote a review when I first moved in...IT ONLY GETS BETTER EACH DAY I'M HERE. :) So I just had to write another one!!!!!

Best Apartment living in Fishers!
I know a majority of all the communities in the Fisher/Noblesville area. Some apartments I had lived in before did not feel like home to me; therefore I was always on the go to get out of the apartment. Living at the Woods of Britton truely feels like a home to me. It is peaceful inside/outside my home. The office staff is amazing!!! Sometimes out of the blue the office (Kathy) will call me just to see how everything is going. The Maintenance staff has even taken my trash to the compactor for my when they saw me carrying it. This has been a great experience living here and I love the location. They even have a huge breafast for residents once a month, and they have already planted the flowers. This is a beautiful property and it is the best community in the fishers/noblesville area!!!

Perfect in every way!
From the moment I walked on the property I knew I wanted to call The Woods of Britton my home. :-) I didn't need to look anywhere else!!! The staff is WONDERFUL! The ink barely has time to dry on the work order and maintenance is at your door to fix the problem. The views are gorgeous!~~ Like something on a picture postcard. The community is quiet, the landscape is awesome and the staff is incredible. What more can you ask for!!! Thankyou everyone!! :-)
Loved it, want to move back!
I lived at the Woods of Britton for a year and it was the best apartment experience I have ever had. I have since lived in 2 other apartment complexes and they don't even come close to the Woods of Britton. I am looking into moving back there when my current lease is up. It is such a beautiful, safe environment and it feels like home. It's secluded enough, but also close enough to shopping and anything you would need. Most of all, the office staff is out of this world. They are soooo sweet and friendly, I can't say enough about them. They always treated me so nice and even remembered me by name every time I talked to them. I truly miss it there!

do not want to move
first just let me respond to the three comments from previous residents who do not recomend WOB. to the person whose coments were titled " do not reccommend Woods of britton" the only thing i can say is that from reading your comments you must be an awful bitter person to get upset at such little things and i'm wondering why you don't use the patience and understanding god gave all of us. to you i say SHAME on you for bad mouthing the wonderful staff at WOB. to the person whose coments were titled "poorly constructed" first, im suprised that you have a job that pays you enough to live anywhere considering you are illiterate and can not spell! to the person whose comments were titled " Incompetent staff" SHAME on you too! this staff is a hard working group of people who care about the residents. my own personal opinion of WOB is you get what you pay for, we love it here and we plan to stay! we have a beautiful apartment and it is nice to live somewhere that allows you to landscape as well as paint your walls and stain your deck. i would highly reccommend that those who are looking to move to fishers seriously consider The Woods of Britton as your choice to live the nieghbors are nice and it is a quiet community that respects all people!

feels like home
I have lived in apartments all over the country and have never lived in one that made me feel like it was my home. The staff here is verry professional and friendly. The grounds are kept very well and the maintenance staff are right there when you need them.

Very
I am a current tennant. I am living here due to a corporate transfer and have lived in a variety of houses and condos during the course of my career. While the construction seems to have some issues (I have walls that have bowed from what appears to have been water damage from the upstairs unit), overall the apartment is great. Having your own private entrance is exceptional and I appreciate the privacy that creates. I am also pleased with the layout and room sizes. Having your own washer/dryer is fabulous and rare in apartment life.

WOW......... I could stay here forever
WOODS Of BRITTON

My family?s stay at the Woods of Britton has been an enthusiastic delight. I know. I?m here 24/7. I am in a wheelchair. This complex has been so accommodating. It?s also wheelchair friendly.

The architect built the complex around 100-plus year old trees. Stately oak trees, sycamore, beach, shag-bark hickory, red-maple, popular, and Bradford pare adorn the confines (along with many conifers.) There are asphalt walking paths that meander through the its confines AND ?it?s safe.? I witness many residents out walking (many of them elderly) - taking advantage of this ALL year round.

Some interesting concepts are used that differentiate this from other complexes ?. There is one community waste area where all tenants take their trash that they may separate to be recycled. There are designated areas to wash and vacuum your vehiclels, as well.

The grounds are kept immaculate from liter. The snow is always shoveled right up to your front door. The staff at the club house/office is both friendly and accommodating.

All of my maintenance, in reference to appliances and general upkeep, is always resolved in a timely manor. An 18-hole golf course separates us from highway 37 ?. How convenient is that? I could grow old here.

Steven J Schurbrock & Family

For everyone who says this complex is overpriced....you need to check indy and castleton,me and my husband moved here a month ago from castleton and we love it(our rent is also cheaper)We have a gorgeous apaertment and we never have problems getting in the clubhouse.I have personally went to the gym in the middle of the night when i can´t sleep...and felt safe going. The school system is one of the best and i can´t think of any where else i would love to raise my children, fishers is a growing community and I am glad we made the move to the WOB,and the staff are awesome people...we have been treated very well since moving in and intend to stay for awhile...as far as the traffic..that is pretty much any where in the morning....but if u want somewhere safe and quiet to come home to ...i would highly recommend WOB!!!!!!

Happy Employee for Five Years
I have worked at The Woods of Britton for the past five years. I can assure you that I would have never worked here as long as I have if this is the way the majority of our residents felt. I am always proud to say I work at The Woods of Britton, not only because it is a beautiful community, but because of the relationships I have established with a number of the residents that live here or have lived here in the past. There is no possible way to make everyone happy, but I feel we do the very best to resolve everyones problems and address everyones concerns.

As for the maintenance staff, I am confident that we have, without a doubt, the best maintenance staff. The maintenance supervisor has been with the owners for seven years and at this property for four years. He has a total of twenty-seven years experience. He knows this property inside and out. All of the maintenance staff is experienced. We would never suggest a product, like Jet Dry, if we didn´t know for sure that it works. However, Fishers has very hard water and there is not much we can do to overcome this.

I wish that this site could show the number of satisfied residents that live here and have lived here. There are always going to be people that are unhappy, no matter what we try to do for them. All I can say is come in and we´ll show you how great we are!

Do not recommend Woods of Britton
I have rented from WOBV since last November. I would not recomment this place to any prospective renter. These apartments are very overpriced, and has poor maintenance. My dishwasher has not worked correctly since moving in. Like a previous reviewer on this website, I was told to use "jet-dry" by the idiot maintenance person. Superficially this place looks nice, but has cheap appliances (Hotpoint-- ha ha, more like Junkpoint), the dishwasher as well as washer are extremely loud when in operation. The cheap dryer takes almost an hour to dry a small load and has an annoying buzzer which buzzes 3x at the end of each load.
Besides being very overpriced and having cheap appliances, I was treated like ---- at the beginning of my lease by the management (Fogleman Group) of this place. In January 2003, I had a delay in receiving my direct deposit and I informed the leasing office of this delay and also was aware I would be charged a late fee. I happened to only be 3 days late with my January rent, and on the 2nd day of being late, a person from the leasing office came running up to my front door, and slid an "eviction notice" under my door. While I did inform the office that my rent would be a few days late, and it was in fact paid bye the 4th day of the month, I was furious that they treated me in such a manner. The management of this complex does not care about tennants, and all the care about is ripping people off with their overpriced apartments.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND WOODS OF BRITTON AT ALL !!!! One final note: when I moved into my unit last November, the leasing agent tried to get me to sign the "move in" paperwork without looking at the apartment. Don´t fall for this deceptive trick, because when you move out, if you have not carefully inspected and noted all damage to the apartment, the will accuse you and make you pay for damage you did not cause !!!

poorly constructed
Many problems with the apartment. Our door would not lock and unlock, resulting in me getting locked out of my apartment one night. Once that was "fixed," we started getting snow inside our apartment from the gap it left in the door. The walls were very poorly insulated, with cold air blowing through all of the outer-wall sockets. Then there was a watermain break in our building which caused us to loose all of our water. Our dishwasher has not worked properly since we moved in. Maintenance was called in 3 times and last time, told us to use Jet Dry. There´s no well in the dishwasher for us to put it in! We moved into a pet-building, which we were not informed of at the time we signed the lease. Good thing my husband and I aren´t allergic to animals.

Great Apartments, crappy traffic
I love my apartment, and I love Fishers. The staff are usually very nice, and when you need repairs, they are usually very efficient. There is a very nice workout facility, and all the neighbors I have met have been great people. The only problem is getting to and from my apartment. Fishers is a growing part of the city, which is a good thing (they are building a Panera a mile away!!!) but the traffic is horrible! It can take up to an hour and 45 minutes to get from 141st to downtown Indy if there is even a threat of precipitation. But on a good day, I can do it in 35-40 minutes.
Overall, it is a great place to live.

High Priced
I lived in WOB for a year and a half. The site is beautiful, the amenities are great. The 24 hour access we were promised to the business center and clubhouse was not fulfilled. The front door has a lock problem and it hasn´t been fixed in the past 6 months. The traffic heading South on 37 is horrible. Plan at least 20 minutes each morning to get onto I-69. I had my car broken into while there. Also, the playground is older and does not conform to industry safety standards. The pricing is way too high. My rent increased $75 when I renewed my lease.

Very Nice Apartments
I´ve lived at WOB for two years now and have enjoyed every minute of it. The only down side is the traffic on 37 and going South in the morning, it´s a nightmare. The maintenance staff is EXCELLENT, the leasing staff is also excellent. Unfortunately, they are overpriced and they´ve priced themselves out of this renter. You can find the exact same apartments right down the road that are a few years older but a couple hundred dollars less per month for all of the same amenities. But overall, WOB is one of the nicest complexes around and the staff cannot be beaten. It´s just too bad they cannot come down in pricing somewhat.
