Up until this year it has been great. There is more noise, less concern about domestic abuse and more about pot smell. Snow plowing was horrible and maintenance has gone down hear. The gym does not have a mask restriction sign up and the quality of cliental is declining.

I have enjoyed living in this community. It is very well maintain and the staff is awesome. The location feels like a retreat to me. It is set back from the main road; while at the same time allows for easy assess to the express way.

Staff was up front and polite, showed several units to best suit my needs and was always willing to help, whatever needed to be corrected in unit before my move in the staff was right on it, very professional

Apartments are clean and well kept. Office staff is accommodating and friendly to all the residents. Maintenance team is professional, knowledgeable and courteous answering service calls when needed. Prairie Point Apartments are conveniently located to any and all shopping, schools, houses of worship and main highways. Beautifully landscaped and well cared for making it very pleasant to take a relaxing walk. An excellent place to live!

Love my unit and maintenance was great resolving all of my issues. Community was nice and quiet and safe to live in. Great location near shopping centers and lots of restaurants to choose from anytime.

Very poor maintenance response and repair. No on-site management oversight for same repeated requests. Had to contact corporate office in Illinois to get almost 2 years of maintenance request completed.

There was no garage available too rent, was on waiting list for 3 years. New renters come and go get garages. Was told get next available garage, was not offered again. Unfortunately due too personal reasons will be moving, extremely disappointed in management.

Beautiful grounds and apartments. Peaceful and quiet. Professional and personable office staff and maintenance professionals. Respectful neighbors. I love the environment and the safety. I love it!

I can definitely say that things have changed since I moved here in 2018. The one thing that has remained awesome is the maintenance staff. When moving here in 2018 the community was extremely quiet. I noticed over the past year things seem to be changing and not necessarily for the best. But my biggest complaint is the snow plowing of the srreets and sidewalks. There is no explanation for paying almost $2k for rent and the streets are plowed and sidewalks are cleared. The only reason i chose to rent is to live in a maintenance free community. However, i guess this isn't the case at Prairie Point. If you work before 9am be prepared to shovel and plow yourself out.

A nice little community that it pretty quite and respectful of others. When you see people you almost always get a smile and a nod. Some of the appliances (Oven and Dishwasher) could use updating but otherwise everything is in good shape.

We really like living in this community, even with the restrictions due to Covid. ?T?hey were able to adapt really well. Services is always good and quick. They answer super fast to simple requests even if it is not an emergency.

Great place to live, kind Courteous staff friendly neighbors. I recommend this as a place to live. Shopping freeways close by I'm from Michigan moved here in 2018 wish I would have found Praire point when originally transferred here.

Its been great so far. And I would most definitely tell someone about the apartment. I have really enjoyed staying here. The gym is cleaned the pool is great during the summer. Heating and air conditioning is great light an gas bill are great . So overall its a awesome place to live.

The apartment is amazing, everything was clean and all appliances work properly, the carpets are extra clean (brand New), the community has a GYM and swimming pool, parking spaces available, also close to everything, etc... The community staff are very welcoming, ask for Denise

It is a great place. Staff change to often. It is very important to me to know the staff. The property is great. It is clean. The lighting could be better. The gym is nice they just need to make sure all the equipment works

I like the private entrances, the quietness and the cleanliness the garage and fireplace option makes it feel more homey. The fitness center is a plus and always looks clean as well as the swimming pool and clubhouse.

Well kept community. The office & maintenance staff are always polite & take care of the residents with the best service. The complex is quiet & safe. Great place for young or older ppl. Families also would enjoy this living place.

Have really enjoyed living here. The maintenance staff fix any problems. The office staff are very nice and helpful. The snow removal is great. Prior to COVID-19 the complex had multiple free social events for residents. The other residents are friendly too. Lots of places to walk in the complex (2 ponds) and a nature walk area at one end is very peaceful. Nice pool area. Particularly like that each apartment entrance is private.

I moved in 1 years ago. I love the staff, they listen to you and fix any problems you have. Plus there is a Pool that is well kept up daily. Pet friendly too. Each building has a laundry room too. Great activities. Come check them out

For the amount of rent being charged for our unit, I would expect far fewer maintenance issues. The appliances are old and out of date. The toilet clogs frequently and during non-business hours resulting in repeated after-hours calls for help.

One of the best apartment complex in the area with proximity to the commercial hob of merrillville , hospitals ,medical centers , Long term acute care Centers, restaurants, and highly rated schools from primary to tertiary institutions. Also proximity to the merrillville city center and police. A family orientated and middle class community . A community for law abiding citizens .

Very peaceful and quiet. Neighbors have always been exceptionally friendly. Staff is always attentive and prompt with any concerns. Location is the key right? Well this location is five minutes from all the restaurants, malls, and hospitals. I highly recommend this community!

Very nice apartment and excellent layout. Perks are gas stove in unit washer and dryer. The staff started out friendly but could be rude depending on your request. Overall nice apartment to live in but the rent is priced higher and I believe it should be priced lower compared to the surrounding areas.
