Very safe, quite and the staff are very friendly and helpful, easy to get communicate with. Maintenance get work orders done right away, leave proper notice if what was done, love the pool, grill area.

Haven't been here long, but it's a very peaceful neighborhood. Would recommend to anyone. I would suggest having the mowing crew mow more often, the grass is always high even within two days of mowing

Rent high as hell but other than that, not a bad place to stay. Although the demographic has changed since moving in. A lot of loud music and people have moved in, so be aware of that. But those are my only 2 negatives. The rent is high and the loud people

It's been great, Prarie Point is one of the best communities in the Merrillville area. The community is within close proximity to work, entertainment, schools, work and shopping. It's quiet, clean convenient.

I moved to Prairie Point 6 months ago, and I can say this community is very quiet. I’m from California, and I love being in this community. There is always a smile on Mrs. Denise face when you walk into the office, Mrs. Denise is very helpful. She made my move in easy to accomplish. Also, Mr. Derrick this young man, is there for any help you may need in your apartment. Thank you for your help!

Prarie Point is a great place to live.The private entrance is great. The community is very quiet. Every one is nice a friendly. The management office is very professional. The manager Denise is very nice she makes sure if you have any concerns which isn't often that it's taken care of. I have lived here at Prairie Point for many years and feel safe. There isn't any loud noise Every one is professional in this community. You are very close to the mall and restaurants. Prarie Point is a great place to live and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Convenient, nice area, most tenants pleasant, Service issues are responded to quickly Had to wait 7 years to get the apartment painted or even touched up except for damage ie, water leaks. The office staff changes a lot. Hard to develop a relationship when they change so often.

Prairie Point is a beautiful community. The office staff is always very helpful and the maintenance staff is courteous and can usually complete a request within a day. The apartments are clean and very spacious.

On site Management has poor communication. Numerous calls had to be made and it took a lot of effort to complete easy tasks. We were told that our unit was ready to view on Friday, we drove in from WI (over 2 1/2 hours) on Saturday morning to look at and they said they do not a have key for us to get in. Our Lease started Monday and we were unable to view before move in. Had to pay an additional $150 administration fee for my wife to be on the lease too, never once were told she had to be on the original application. It is very disappointing to have a management staff that are not concerned about the residents.

My experience in this community has been overall pleasant. It is mostly peaceful and there's a sense of security and safeness here. The neighbors seem nice yet rather timid and not willing to socialize quite often.

The apartments themselves are nice . I'm on the reserve side and everything is updated , the area is quiet , and I never have problems with my packages . My biggest recommendation is if you move here , do NOT get an apartment where there is a garage under your bedroom . Especially if you're a light sleeper. Your quality of sleep is determined by the resident that uses that garage . The garages are very loud and vibrate the whole floor . I'm constantly woken up out of my sleep daily . Outside of that , I will say that , that is my only complaint for these apartments. The office staff is nice and maintenance is professional, and responsive . The garage is my only issue but it's still a very significant factor .

The staff is disrespectful very short and shows they do not care about their residents and not too helpful with a decent attidude. They do not give much perks. All they care is about money. Thats the staff im referring to.

For the most part, good experience. A little pricey. Nice facilities. Need to do better at policing dog owners that let their dogs out unattended off a leash and enforcing the clean up after your dog. It's nice that the doors shut almost automatically, but they almost slam, so it can be extremely frustrating if neighbors keep slamming doors. Haven't used the pool or exercise facilities.

I'm enjoying living here. It's a pretty area with trees where you can often here the birds singing. They keep up with the landscape and the plants in the hallways are nice. All the staff are friendly. I've had a few maintenance issues that needed addressed but they take care of those items quickly. I recommend this place.

I have had a wonderful experience living here for the past year. The complex is in a great location and is very clean. It is very close to SouthLake Mall as well as The Square in Crown Point, so there always lots of shopping and eating options.

This is my second apartment in this community. Altogether I have lived here ten years. Although there has been some changes over time in office and maintenance staff, they have always been friendly and professional. All maintenance issues receive a rapid response. The grounds are very well maintained summer and winter.

The apartments are nice. You only get a three day window to decide if you're going to renew your lease so I missed getting a free carpet cleaning. Even though I explained to the office that I'm a traveling nurse so I wasn't at home when they left a notice. My carpet is nice but it would've been nice to have the high traffic areas touched up. I don't think that's too much to ask when the rent is nearly $2000 every 30 days. It sucks because I felt like there should've been a little more wiggle room for a renewing resident. The customer service in the office staff is snowballing downhill. Maintenance it's nice when they come in but it's taking too long to have service request carried out. I am super frustrated with the situation regarding my closet. It's been over two weeks and I'm still waiting For the work to be done right. I would really love to get my clothing off of my bed and back into the closet where it belongs.
