I relocated to the area for a new job and decided to rent for a year before buying a home. I wanted something newer. clean. safe. Well maintained. Even if I had to pay a little more than normal. And I think Prairie Point delivered on all of that. Overall very good. Excellent service this winter with snow removal and salting sidewalks. I really appreciate that. Maintenance issues sometimes take 3-4 visits to achieve resolution. But they do reply promptly overall. The only complaint I have is that the ice maker in the freezer makes a horrendous noise and maintenance can not seem to fix it.

Prairie Point is a safe high quality and clean place to live. I'm very comfortable living in the community and I am very pleased with the upkeep and professionalism. Any issues I have had Prairie Point has tried their very best to address and satisfy. I highly recommend Prairie Point as one of the best communities to live.

Great apartment complex! This is definitely luxury living! I highly recommend leasing with Praire Point in Merrillville! I appreciate the email updates with any events held in our club house, pool hour updates and any other news!

Worst experience ever with property manager already submitted complaint and seeks a call back from Corp about how they will half the ignorance of there staff. And how Denise the property manager treated me. Going to make sure when we leave we let the world know that Prairie point apartments is anything but luxury. if this matter is not taken care of. Entrepreneurs take care of their job solve problems and make sure their responsibilities are done and hold others accountable as well as themselves. Have yet to see the from the staff the last few months. Figured if we paid 1287 a month and early every month for 15 month we would be Treat properly not like we did something wrong.

If you can afford it, you will love it. Super clean super updated. I enjoyed every day/night being in this place. Get your hand one once, they dont last. It's close to many stores so you dont have to drive far to get most of your daily needs.

This has been a very peaceful living community. Every one is friendly. The grounds are well maintained and the staff are attentive to your requests. There is a true sense of community here. The only complaint I have is the apartments need more noise proofing.

I enjoy living here. But I am disappointed in the quality of maintenance care. It appears that they rushed through my concerns and I don't feel appreciated as a tenant. I hope they rectify the situation and this incomplete work is not an example of how things are changing in my community.

I just moved to the area and this place fit my needs 100%. The ladies in the office were always available to answer and questions or concerns I had before, during and after my move in. I would recommend this community, apartments are very well kept as well as the grounds themselves. Again very happy to have made this my new home.

I've found this to be a safe and peaceful environment, with neighbors respectful of my privacy and comfort. My requests for assistance have always been answered courteously and promptly. I've always felt respected and valued.

The check in process at the beginning was a disorganized but we later learned that this site was short on staff for the peak moving season in such a large apartment complex. However we have had no complaints since we moved in and any repairs or issues that we voiced with maintenance in our moving in form were addressed immediately.

Not very satisfied at this time with maintenance director and his urgency towards residents quality of apartment life. Office manager very compassionate and thorough when it comes to residents issues. However having hard time now justifying paying the rental amout for the quality of service that is being rendered.

I love my apartment community. It's quiet and clean. I like the office staff. It would be perfect if at least 1 parking spot was assigned to apt. The grounds are kept clean and grass is always neat. I love this place.

Very clean and quiet community. Community grounds and units are very well kept and maintained by the maintenance staff. Friendly and courteous office staff which is always a plus. Nice amenities are also available to residents such as the gym and pool.

I've been here for almost 15months and Yes, prairie point apartments are quite expensive but with everything that comes with it it's totally worth it. The office staff and maintenance workers are awesome, location is perfect around plenty of stores and restaurants. You have your own washer and dryer, garage, and also the apartments are fully updated. For these prices you'll find this no where else they actually care about you and designed these apartments how they would want to live as well. I was definitely satisfied with my stay.

I love the Peace and Quiet of my community along with the swift professional maintenance service we receive. The amenities such the pool and Gyms are a very pleasant addition to our stay. The grounds upkeep doing the Summer and winter is Fantastic.

Clean and quiet, condo-like apartment complex. I live in a 1 bedroom by myself, it is the perfect size for 1 person, but I honestly feel that my significant other and I could live here comfortably together.

Community is great, apartment is very nice and spacious. My only complaint is that the rent increases way too much each year, and for no obvious reason. Water fee and pet fee also doubled after my first year, and the total increase for me was about $120/month.

I love the my experience here it has been amazing up until I informed management that I would be moving. The time it took to get my door in the laundry room unstuck was a month. I stopped by the office and reported it twice along with the door handle being put on backwards.

Great place, great helpful staff. The community is clean and aesthetically pleasing. Each different type of unit offers something unique. Open layouts really make the units feel larger. Great place to call home.

The apartmemt rooms are nice and clean. The staffs are all friendly who take care of your need with maintenance of equipment of room. There are multiple parties being held and opened to everyone thru a year, and the pool next to the office is where kids can play in everyday in summer time, which is great!

Moving in was hassle free. Small issues with the apartment were handled very promptly. Very quiet neighborhood and I like the individual entrance of every apartment. Staff is friendly and helpful. And I really like the washer and dryer in each apartment.

Excellent community. I had to complete the process remotely before moving in. Niki and Paula helped a lot and were very prompt in their responses. They provided photos of apartment interior and the impression I got from the photos exactly matched what we finally got. We drove in from NC and I was hoping against hope that I would reach on time before the apartment office closes. The leasing folks were still available at 6PM and we were able to complete the formalities very quickly. We got a very warm welcome and especially neat and clean apartment when we moved in. I would recommend Prairie Point any day to friends.

I have lived here 4 months and it has been pretty decent. For the money I pay, honestly I expected thicker walls so I wouldn't hear my neighbors on the first floor, and the windows could be better but other than that it's not bad.
