The apartment is large for the price you pay. Definitely get a good bang for your buck. We have had several maintenance problems over the year but they were all fixed very quickly and to the best of their ability. We love it here. The only downside is our neighbors are loud

The pros of brandywine are the price and the location. With the complex being right next to the hartland shopping center it is easy to get to kroger and a couple of restaurants. The price is good for what you pay for in a one bedroom apartment and the amenities are an added bonus. The biggest drawback being a lack of a washer/dryer hookup

Nice looking and quiet apartments, people are friendly, close to stores. The rent is high and the TV and internet is not good you can only choose one company. Its a smoke free aprartment but people still smoke and it allows pets so people should take that in mind.

Overall, my husband and I really enjoy our Brandywine Apartment. It is spacious, clean and well-kept. We love the pool in the summer and the maintence team is good at completing regular check ups. We think the price is mostly fair.

I haven't lived in an apartment in 40 years so I wasn't sure what to expect. The apartment is nice and for the most part quiet. The staff has been friendly and very helpful in addressing any issues and concerns that I have had.

This was my first time living on my own, and honestly I just stumbled across this place online but Brandywine has been perfect. The community is composed of mostly young adults, and small families. The staff is extremely friendly and responsive to your needs. They helped me start my adult life, and for they will always have my gratitude.

Brandywine Apartments just comes across as a standard apartment community. They are much better than my last apartment community, and they have some perks that can be taken advantage of, such as the Gym and Pool, etc. But outside of those things, it seems pretty standard.

This is my second apartment in Lexington and I love it. My last apartment was dated, drafty and more expensive just because of the neighborhood it was in. This location is just as convenient and safe. I'm getting 300 extra sq feet and my heating bill is not over $300. Staff is friendly and I hear little from my neighbors. In all Brandywine is a steal in Lexington and you should consider it.

Very nice community with beautiful apartments. Responsive staff and maintenance when needed is quick to fix any issues that might arise. Would like to have a little better parking options. Love being able to have my pets!

It is ok here. Just not sure why the rent goes up every year. The gym has leaks and the equipment sometimes works. The water cooler does not work. The pool needs to be redone. Upstairs neighbors balcony is dirty with junk. Pool was closed the first month of summer.

This community has been a great one to live in during my time in Lexington, Ky. While attending dental school at UK, this apartment community has given me the "nice, clean, fireplace-lit home" feel that has been wonderful to come home to after long days at the hospital. Would definitely recommend to a friend

Never had a problem here. Staff is very friendly and very respondent if I have ever needed anything. It's very close to the Kroger shopping center which is convenient for me considering the fact I just had a baby.

Everyone was very efficient as willing to work with my crazy schedule. The staff was very kind and dropped what they were doing to assist me or answer any questions I had. They all seemed genuinely happy to help!

Great first few months. Inside and outside good upkeep. Maintenance only needed once and were here the next day as it wasn't an emergency. I like that pets are allowed and I don't see any pet waste around the complex. Also the non-smoking policy is really nice, as seeing cigarette buds everywhere just looks trashy.

Pros: In my experience, it is difficult to find a property that is effectively managed. Brandywine's office staff and property manager have been very helpful and friendly. Compared to other places in Lexington, the rent is affordable. I'm happy with the location. I love that I can walk to Hartland Park and it's a beautiful walk. Hartland Kroger and Tates Creek Kroger are also nearby. I live on the Man O' War side of the complex and I have been pleasantly surprised by how little traffic I hear. Maintenance - I have had one issue and it was taken care of promptly. The grounds are well-maintained. The community seems safe. There are community events. I haven't been to one but I think it's really nice that they do that. Cons: You only have two options for internet. At least, this is what I was told when I moved in. Windstream and a small company based in Toledo, OH, called Suite Solutions that services apartment complexes specifically. Windstream offers DSL and Suite Solutions offers high-speed internet (modem). I would normally choose Spectrum (I've dealt with them since the company was Insight) but that wasn't an option. I've been here for 2 months and my experience with Suite Solutions has been terrible (read the online reviews). I know Spectrum can be difficult too, but Suite Solutions is so much worse. I had scheduled setup for my move-in day. I had called two weeks previous to moving in to pay my first bill and schedule this setup. The person I spoke with told me that since I own my own modem that all I had to do was call in to have it turned on. I called in and they were unable to get service started. Three days later, a tech came out and the issue was on their end (not a modem issue). Then billing was a nightmare. I was told different billing due dates and when I asked for a billing credit on the 3 days I didn't have service (which they did provide), they adjusted my billing cycle. I ended up paying twice in October. I've lost service a few times and each time I call to report it, the representative is rude. I need reliable, high speed internet service and Suite Solutions just isn't reliable. This is very important to me in the place I live. I want to be specific about this issue because of that. The space is tiny! (But it's affordable) The cabinets in the kitchen and the bathroom vanity are outdated. Laundry - The 1 bedroom does not offer a W/D hookup. There is a laundry facility on site, however. Recycling - There is not an option for recycling here and I hate it. Currently, I take my recycling to the bins behind the Hartland Kroger. It's not convenient but it's an option. Summary: I will likely renew my lease here. I'm mostly happy. I love the area. I have 3 neighbors and only 1 has been an issue (a dog that won't stop barking). When I walk outside, people who live here are generally friendly. I have been really pleased with management and office staff. I appreciate that the property is non-smoking. Parking is never an issue. I like walking through the complex because the landscaping is well-maintained, so it's a pretty walk and the sidewalks make it easy. The only thing that concerns me is internet. If you are looking for an affordable apartment in a decent location, I would recommend Brandywine Apartments.

It is a quite community with nice pools, has laundry room if you do not have hookups in apartment. Quite inside and out. Has plenty of doggie bags locations with trash bins for used baggies. Over all a good place.

I am not interested in writting a small novel today. I am busy and my multiple choice answers should be sufficient. Further more, forcing me to write this in order to complete the survey is a huge pain.
