This is a great community, with washer/dryer hookups in the units, a large fitness room and pool, and well-maintained grounds. The office staff is amazing and always accommodating. For the location and price of rent, you can't beat it.

Amazing, quiet community. Residents are all extremely pleasant and respectful. We absolutely love the community events for both the residents and the pets! The location is close enough to everything but also far enough away to avoid heavy traffic and noise.

My apartment has been sufficient in every way. The community is quite and clean and my apartment is spacious and has everything I need. The buildings could use some slight upgrades with a more modern paint color and upgraded in carpet and tile in the bathrooms and kitchen. Overall it is a good place to live for an affordable price.

For Breckenridge Apartments, get rid of your current Property Manager. I'm a veteran, work for the Federal Government and have never been treated and disrespected before like this in my life. I'm a single father paying a great amount in child support. I have a 2 bed 2 bath apartment at Breckenridge. I have a family member that does not live there but I allow to keep her clothes there in the extra bedroom. Her car was towed which we completely understand, it was our fault and should have parked in visitor parking. However, I get a letter written in marker, not even pen, and hung on my door. She also came inside the apartment without warning and took a key I had sitting on the coffee table next to the door. The letter, in marker, read "your girlfriend that moved in with you came to the office about her car we towed. I'm giving you 2 weeks to have her move out or you will be evicted." Again, in marker/sharpie. The most unprofessional thing I have EVER seen. She is actually a -------, she has a girlfriend she stays with, and thought this was absolutely prejudice. The next absolute wrong action I noticed was the terrible organization of the office. I had everything in line that they required before moving in. The first thing was giving me the wrong apartment number to put my renters insurance in. The next was them losing the document and charging me extra for renters insurance. I was literally paying double renters insurance for months because they lost paperwork. The next problem was that I was paying rent of $800 for 2 months because of their fault in charging me extra. $800 is my rent but I guess there is extra for water. Even though I had paid them extra for renters insurance because of the documentation they lost, they filed a motion in court because of 2 water bills! Not missing rent, but 2 water bills! I had to pay that plus $200 in court costs to not have to show up to court and miss work. This treat is egregious for a "professional" apartment complex. I get a letter saying I'm not allowed to re-lease as if I were a criminal. This is terrible for a vet that has been literally in combat protecting this country. The property manager of Breckenridge is the most unprofessional person in her position I have ever seen. I would rather not move out with all the work on my part with 2 children and a full time job with the Federal Government. Please do more research on the person you hire as a property manager.

Great Location if you are a Student at UK. Friendly staff and nice accommodations. I would recommend this community to anyone as its safe and easy to navigate. It is also centrally located to nice restaurants and grocery stores.

If you are looking for a quieter apartment style community with friendly staff and great rates, this is a place to look in to for sure. I was looking for an apartment I could both have plenty of space in but also afford on my own and I was able to find that here. I was unhappy with my last living situation and wanted to move out ASAP and the staff at Breckinridge were able to accommodate my needs with no roadblocks. I found the listing online, emailed for more info, scheduled a visit the next day and signed my lease the day after that. The staff is all very helpful and friendly and respectful and I am very happy I was able to move here so quickly.

I have not been treated well at this apartment complex and neither has my fianc?. We submit work orders to be done and they either half way do it or it doesn't get done at all. I will not continue to live here after our lease is up, it is NOT worth it!

It has been great! The apartment is very nice. The community is well kept! And it is very safe. The pool is also very nice. Any maintenance issues I have had have been fixed easily and within a couple days!

Great location for a great price but there are a few ways they could improve. While the inside of the apartment was clean when we moved in, there could be improvements made to the paint color on the walls and carpet -- they really date the place. Also, the back and front of our apartment are very different during the hot and cold days -- our living room is almost uncomfortable to be in during the winter because it gets so cold. However, we have lots of space, including a very spacious kitchen, multiple storage closets, no neighbors except for directly under us, and we always get parking right in front of our apartment. It has been worth the money but with a yearly increase in rent, we plan to find somewhere that is more renovated for the same price. Also, office staff and maintenance seem a bit disorganized and don't really take the time to get to know residents or make it convenient to do anything related to office or maintenance things.

The community is what you would expect for the price. Dated wall colors/features, but comfortable living space. I used the fireplace one time and it instantly made the carpet come up that is attached to the brick by the fireplace.

Breckinridge is a very nice community. Every staff member goes out of their way to meet your needs and expectations. I really like that I can pay my rent online and that my work orders are done within 48 hours. I would highly recommend leasing with them.

The apartment was very clean for the most part, and there are only a couple minor issues that I have found. I have contacted the property management and hope to hear back soon. But those things are minor and do not require immediate attention.
