Careful who you listen to
As I said, be careful who is writing the review. Office staff like to write glowing reviews so they continue to get business. Also note that people who just moved in have not had much time to have to deal with the incompetent staff and the delayed maintenance work. Breckinridge Court a terrible place to live once you get to know it. The buildings are in bad shape, though the fresh paint and spackle would leave to think otherwise (just give it time). Repairs are slow in coming, if at all. The office staff does not care and are not very good at their jobs. Also, be careful with their lease, since it is not very favorable to the renter (some landlords are much more exact in their expectations, as well as more favorable). Still, the tendency across lexington is that most of these apartment complexes are not very trustworthy or interested in providing a good living environment, so choose carefully.

I Love This Place!
I really like it here. My husband and I moved here in May, we had been at another Lexington apt (Kirk...) that was horrible and was very happy to move. This place is wonderful. Repairs get done quickly, office staff are very friendly and helpful, neighbors are great, apartment is perfect. I recommend this place highly, for the price it's just a no-brainer! Come check it out for yourself, I don't think you'll be disappointed. After the nightmare of a place we were at, I believe people deserve a fair review- good or bad. This place just happens to be very good.

It's a decent place to live
I really have few complaints. I've not had a problem getting help from maintenance and I've found the office staff to be very friendly and helpful.

At the same time, it's not exceptional. My apartment was nice and relatively comfortable, but some of the appliances were outdated (although fully functional). I've noticed on some literature that they call themselves "luxury apartment homes" and I would advise you not to be fooled by that.

But still, this place is perfect for students who want a nice place to live. I'd recommend it to you.

Definately worth the money.
Breckinridge Court has been awesome since we moved in. It is the best place in Lexington if you have a dog since 90% of the apts in Lexington either wont allow dogs, or they have age/breed/size restrictions. The apartment we have is a one bedroom, with a fireplace, tons of storage, nice balcony, and very open layout. It seems more like a home than any apartment I have lived in.

Too much money for what you get
I lived in a one bedroom apartment for a year and it was just ok. It was nice but definately not worth it especially since the only perk is a pool. There are nicer places in Lexington for cheaper, or at the same price with more ammentities. The staff is not very helpful. Also, at the time I was living there there was a serious robbery that occurred in the parking lot. It involved someone being held up at gun point.

dont live here
This aparment complex is HORRIBLE in getting repairs done on your apartment. We had a hole in our ceiling since the day we moves in and had it for two years until we moved out. It is overpriced and not worth it. I would NOT recommend living there.

This place is the best around.
The property is really beautiful. and everyone including my neighbors are great. I feel safe & comfortable calling Breckinridge Court home. I would advise friends to live here, even though many of them already do. The pool is a lot of fun in the summer. Also there are many single people to socialize with.

BRECKRINRIDGE COURT ROCKS
My apartment is great. I feel I get what I pay for. The staff has always been friendly and professional to me. They always adderss me by name when I pay my rent, or I need to call in any work. They even call back sometimes to see if the work is completed. Who does that anymore?!!
I would reccoment this place to anyone who wants a safe, quiet, friendly place to live.
Imcompetent Staff
Don't consider moving into this apartment if you are currenly loooking for one. There are other apartment complexes in the city that offer better services. The staff at the office do not return calls and are not friendly.

Not so special
Not worth the price for lack of ammenities, and amount of square footage.

Cabinets, countertops, and other details quite outdated. For price, shoudl be more updated.

Terrible parking, needs revamped so people who pay $ to live there can park closer than 2 miles to apartment.

Should offer more than 1 laundry facility.

Apparently, there are new owners AGAIN, hope they don´t rearrange the rules, leases, etc as in past.

Not bad.... Not great.... just okay.
I lived at Brec. Ct. for two years, from 2000-2002. Overall, my experience was good, however the square footage in these apartments is something to be desired. I had a studio apartment and had to walk sideways to get to and from different parts of the apartment. The washer/dryer situation was an absolute nightmare. The stackable washer dryer "closet" would not even fit the smallest apartment sized washer/dryer. The maintenance had to take the frame off of the door to get the washer/dryer in and out. Parking could have also been better. Parking spots in front of your building would almost never happen. Other than the above things listed, my experience was okay.

Not worth the money
I lived at Breckinridge Court for 2 years from 1998-1999. The parking was an absolute nightmare, and on weekends, you couldn´t park near your building.
The community was dark in the parking lot, when you were walking 200 yards to get to your apartment.
The floorplan was okay, but too expensive for the sq. footage. Also, there is a lack of ammentiies.
Office staff changed constantly, and new company took over, not an improvement to speak of.
The manager back then named Jim would never even work with you if you had questions or concerns.
