Minus a few bad eggs, the community is very peaceful and quiet. It's primarily students or young professionals in my building, so parking is pretty good; especially if your schedule is a bit different than 8am to 2pm classes. It's pet friendly, and most of the dogs here are quite nice, so your furry baby will get plenty of chances to make friends.

I have lived here for 3 years and had not had any issues or complaints. Over the last year, three new residents have moved into the bldg., and now I am starting to have complaints from the office and issues. I do not bother anyone, I go to work and come home into my apartment, take my dog out and clean up after her, and mind my business. However, I get calls from the office about dog feces, smoking, and etc., saying there have been complaints that these things are happening with members of my home, when I know it's my neighbors and can prove it's my neighbors. I was hoping the office staff would recognize that in the last 3 years these things haven't been happening with me, and put two and two together, but apparently that is not the case. Unfortunately, I am going to have to move before things get out of hand. The last thing I want, or need, is to have drama at my one place that I like to have peace!!

Safe, well-managed and a good neighbourhood.I am glad to be here. The staff is courteous and helpful. I have hardly had any unresolved issues. Guest parking can be tricky. I like the location the best, makes it easy to get to any part of town.

With all these 5 * ratings they must have paid some people off. I mean the truth is the place is old and dated. Maintenance is horrible, office staff is rude except when your signing your lease. Most days there was mattresses and broken glass in the parking lot it looked awful. The pool bathrooms are always disgusting. The only good things are the fitness center because it's newer, and a nearby park. Stay away from here there are much better options for students and cheap rent.

It has been peaceful and pretty relaxed. The staff has been wonderful as well as the gym. The pool is nice but the bathrooms need to be replaced. However, that's the only issue I've had and the rent is reasonable for a safe area.

Great apartment space. Affordable and comfortable with great amenities. Newly upgraded appliances and maintenance staff are very responsive. Pool and gym are well kept and in walking distance of any apartment.

I've only been here for a few months, but I really enjoy living here. The staff are very communicative and offer cool community events (door decorating challenge, saw some pretty cool advertising for stuff in the summer, etc), the area is nice and located in a good place (straight shot to downtown, really nice Kroger under 1.5 miles away, 5 minutes to the mall, etc.), the neighbors are polite and not loud and actually clean up after their pets, and the apartments are excellent! They show their age a little bit, but the apartment managers do an excellent job of keeping them up (I actually just got a new stove and dishwasher like a month after I moved in with no rent increase, so that was nice!).

Very friendly neighbors and staff, your right down the road from a lot things, the area normally quiet. And any issues usually get taken care pretty quickly. Staff are always available during the staffed and let you know when office will be closed.

We love the location and amenities! Its also great that pets are allowed and welcomed! The apartments are located nearby restaurants and shopping centers that make it extremely convenient. The grounds at the apartments are well maintained as well.

The property is well-kept. Recently it seems they are slowly updating the place with new washing machines and new kitchen appliances. The staff seems friendly and are willing to help with anything I ask for. Community events such as food trucks, live music, and pool events seem to happen every couple of weeks. Great, quiet place to live.

it has been fine. i like the location and the staff has been inviting. the only thing that i have been unhappy about is the amount of rent increase since i've been here for several years. it's almost as if we long time residents are being penalized.

It's a nice quiet community. The buildings are decent, some issues with windows and doors being pretty drafty, but the walls are thick and you can't hear your neighbors. The gym is a nice bonus. The non-smoking policy is not enforced so don't let that be a selling point for you. And management (well, just one lady in particular) can be difficult to deal with, very aggressive and rude.

Overall a very nice place to live. I feel safe here, there is decent parking, good facilities, and they are pet-friendly. Maintenance is quick and efficient. Rent is a little high but still reasonable. Close to a nice neighborhood and park.

I'm a business executive working in the Lexington Kentucky area on assignment for an indefinite amount of time. I have a home in Ohio and needed an apartment to stay in through the week while working in Kentucky. I look throughout the City of Lexington and found the great place here at Breckinridge Court Apartments. The apartment is clean, the community grounds or nice, they have swimming pool and fitness center, and and the rent is very affordable. I would recommend Breckinridge to anyone looking for an apartment in the Lexington area.

It was a good experinece to live in this community the people are friendly and the buildings have nice looking designs.The only thing that concerns me is the safety and maintenance both needs some work also it would be really helpful if there's a notfications for packages that we get in the office

Good value, can be restrictive community standards strongly upheld. Typically good experiences while living here. 3 apartment inspections per year is excessive. Before personally refering future residents I ask about their current rental experiences and issues they have.

The apartment is great. The space is bigger than it looks on paper. Utilities are not that expensive too. Location is great it is driving distance from major shopping areas and campus. The area is served by the public transportation system too

This community was the least expensive and biggest option for our budget. The apt was clean and tidy. The staff was ok at first but since management has changed it has gotten a LOT better. Maintenance requests get completed in a timely manner depending on the request. The office staff are very nice. Landscaping company comes often to keep the grounds well kept. It's located in a great part of Lexington being close to a lot of necessities while being tucked away. We personally had some bad experiences with some neighbors with them smoking and it seeping in our apt. Seeing as the complex was moving to non smoking but not quite there they tried working with the neighbor who kept smoking in the unit to begin with so they chose not to renew their lease. Now our new neighbor is just loud. You'll get that anywhere. The only one gripe we had was that the parking space lines don't extend out like regular lines, and very faded so you can't see them, and are painted a light blue so you really can't see them. If you are looking for anything between a 1 bedroom apt to a small townhome I'd recommend Breckinridge easily.

It's a nice and quiet community with good facilities like gym, pool, veg garden and laundry room. There is room for improvement as well such as in the cleanness of the stairways, renovation of cabinets and closets and etc.
