Renting at Breckenridge has been a great experience. I would recommend it so much. It is really a good friend ly neighborhood. I enjoyed the landscaping, seeing nature around well taken care of. Love the vegetable garden, which really called my attention. Love the gym, the swimming pool. To have a tennis court inside Breckenridge is a privilege. It's so easy and encouraging to work out.

Overall I have enjoyed my time in the community. Unfortunately I am underneath very loud neighbors and have to worry about the police being called on me again if my cat jumps to loud or I trip because it may bother or worry the lady below me.

Stable, well kept, and comfortable. Though small issues with neighbors here and there. With more time and opportunity this could be a great growing community. Next to road but not too overwhelming close to food, gas, and schools. Seems placed rather decently.

I love living in this community the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful along with some neighbors just tired of stepping in dog waste and people speeding through the parking lot other than that great place to live

Great place to live, well maintained, just hope they don't raise the rent again. They did a real good job this last winter keeping the sidewalks cleaned and entry ways salted, which helps us old folks stay safe.

I finally have fully moved in. The neighborhood seems of quality, friendly, and fairly quiet. My living space was clean upon move in and appliances work well. I'm very happy with the space and pricing provided and my cat is adjusting more quickly than I would have thought. We especially appreciate the glass doors overlooking the patio. The office staff is also very helpful and communicated efficiently before the move in date. I appreciated the welcome gifts!

I have lived here 3 years and recommend this apartment community. The office staff and maintenance people are always courteous and professional. The apartments are clean and well maintained. The grounds are well cared for in the summer and snow removal in the winter.

I already know I'm going to absolutely love living here! Everyone is so nice and the grounds look beautiful along with the apartment. I also loved the extra touches when I first moved in like the welcome tennis ball for my dog!

Plenty of options around the complex to spend time at. The neighborhood is pretty friendly as well and sometimes I'll be going for a walk and be greeted by my neighbors' furry friends as I'm going. Overall a very pleasant experience this past year.

I rented the single bedroom apartment for several months and enjoyed my stay. Very quiet & friendly community. Never had any problems/disturbances with neighbors or staff. It is also a great location & is within minutes of anything you need.

The office staff are always personable, knowledgeable and any requests/questions/needs are taken care of in a very timely manner. The office staff have made me feel at home here in the community. The only heads up for the complex is that it lists a dog park as an amenity ? this is actually a larger rounded out runoff ditch without fencing. But that hasn't been a deterrent to anyone I've met here.

When I first moved in, everything was peachy. They had even left a pizza in the freezer and toys for my dogs on the kitchen counter for us to find on move-in day. Since then, it's been problem after problem. There was a leak in our bathroom the first couple months we were in the unit, and renovations have been a huge inconvenience. I would not typically have a problem except they allowed the contractors to steal off of my power supply, and offered little help in the matter. Previous contractors had left nails and shards of metal laying around after they had completed the work they were doing, and Breckinridge again was little to no help in resolving the matter when I brought it to their attention. Broken promises are frequent here.

Maintenance always does good work. Quiet place to live, convenient location in a good part of the city. Lots of Law enforcement in the complex to keep car thiefs out. Easy billing methods and a clean pool area in the summer

The office staff is very nice. I appreciate the texting service when I have a package at the leasing office. That's very convenient. The laundry room is not well maintained and could use a lot of upgrades

The apartment is fine if you don't care about masking during a global pandemic, having non-hostile management, actually getting your issues resolved when putting in maintenance requests, having very disruptive work done on your building with little or no notice (it's bad if you work from home), and the list goes on. I'd recommend against living here.

I just want to be clear that I don't keep coming back to post about this place - they keep sending me email after email to take their surveys. It's bizarre since they're doing so much stuff they have to know sucks to be on the receiving end of but hey. So first off, just know, they have pretty blatantly lied in response to about everything I've posted. I've talked to some neighbors who've had that happen to so just...be weary of their responses. Maintenance issues, plumbing issues, staff being shady as hell and generally incompetent - those are all patterns. Having talked to others they seem to exhaust or intimidate folks into not saying much. They never fixed our sink smell issues. It goes away when it's really cold but it starts to come back as it warms up so we'll see how that progresses. They basically just flat out stopped responding to us. Gotta say, I've lived in quiet a few crap places over the years but this has to be the first place to just straight ghost. The new fun thing has been their "improvements". The roofing job was pretty poorly run. None of the exits were marked off for safety so you just had to hope you didn't get hit with shingles. I came down the stairs and saw debris come down right in front of me. They left their trash everywhere for days afterward too and it wasn't safe for our dog at all. We had to carry him to safer places to walk so he wouldn't get hurt by all the nails and staples laying around. The baseboards - THE BASEBOARDS. God it's wild. These people looked at multiple buildings with known plumbing issues, appliances limping along (our dishwasher is trash), and said huh, you know what this place needs? Baseboards. A few things about the install. We did not get a full 48 hours notice. They brought the notices by in the afternoon/evening Thursday and were going to start Saturday. These notices said we had to pull everything out of our living room and hallways and cram all of it into the bedroom so they could install these baseboards. We had to cancel our weekend plans to do this and it took 3 hours. No we did not get a discount on rent - this is apparently just what you're expected to do. Then they rescheduled due to weather that had already been in the forecast when they scheduled the install initially. So the stuff had to stay crammed in there Saturday, Sunday, and Monday when they came back. Now, they know we both work from home and we explained that we had meetings and people couldn't come in because having to suddenly cancel would risk our jobs and make us unable to pay rent - they did not care. Said it could not be rescheduled, they've already given out keys to this group. So they show up and can't get in and we just opt not to help them because like we warned them - my partner was in the middle of meeting. But damn did they try. You'd have thought their life depended on these baseboards. After the meeting we went and talked to them and let them in. And get this - the baseboards don't match, are cut like absolute crap, and they didn't even vacuum before they installed them so just know when you walk in here they left everyone's crud under there. They weren't even thinking about future tenants installing these. Who are they for? It's a mystery. And you know what the best part is? They're not even done. They're gonna have to come back and do the rest of the hallway and the bedroom when we'll have to do this all over AGAIN. It's wild not being able to make reliable plans because my landlord decided baseboard were a necessity. I have sick parents I'm trying to help out that I couldn't because I had to haul furniture instead. You will pay them much more than these places are worth to be their reserve labor and scapegoats. Like you have to wonder - what if someone was sick? Imagine you're sick, trying to recover, and these people just say too bad move it or these people are going to come into your house and physically move it for you. Then you have to hear loud construction all day. For baseboards. What if I'd been away taking care of my parents? They would have just swooped in here doing god knows what to my stuff. I'd come back to find it in some horrendous jumble and just have to hope nothing got broken. I just...I really can't capture how unhinged of an experience it is to live here. Search them on Reddit too, like I am not the only story like this. They're truly wildly shady, but I can only tell my story. TL;DR: Ask yourself - do you want to have to cancel your plans at the drop of a hat to spend hours moving furniture because your landlord is trying save some on baseboards they don't even cut and install right? If the answer is no, I'd skip this place. If you're fine paying $1000+ for a sub par one bedroom once you factor in utilities just to have the honor of being at your landlords beck and call - you're really gonna dig this place.

It has been the worst apartment experience I've ever had out of the 5 different places I've lived. The office staff is rude and incapable of keeping track of your packages and if you work night shift, good luck being able to go get your packages because they are only open 9-6. They give you 2 days notice if that, on major projects like currently installing baseboards in the living room and they will be moving your furniture for you. There is no respect for night shift workers that live here at all. That's also if they even actually show up. I was told back in November and would be having maintenance come in and do a bi-annual inspection like changing the air filter and checking pipes for leaks. Nobody ever came into my apartment and when I asked the office staff, they were confused and tried to tell me maybe it was because it was raining(it wasn't raining that day) and that I would get a follow up email IF it was rescheduled. They didn't even know. Then a few weeks later with no email, I come home and my living room light was left on for who knows how long. So had to pay extra on my electric bill because this place is so inconsiderate in every aspect of their beings. Besides all that, the apartment itself that I rent which is a studio, is not functional at all. Yes I know it is small and not a lot of space, but it should still be functional. I have one drawer in my kitchen that I can't even use unless I open my oven door first. My pantry door and my kitchen door open into each other and cannot open all the way. The best thing about the apartment is that it has a decent sized bathroom and that's about it. I would not recommend this place at all for these multiple reasons. There's much better out there for much less.

It's a really nice neighborhood in Lexington and the price is unbeatable in this area. The apartment units themselves are about what you'd expect for this price point?not stellar, but decent. Great location for commuting to UK, and right next to New Circle for anywhere else in Lexington. There's a CVS and some restaurants next door, and a Kroger just a few minutes down the road. Generally speaking, the local staff are lovely and very responsive whenever you need something. However, the corporate headquarters (located in Oklahoma) are very strict and cutthroat, on the rare occasion they interact with you. Don't expect any leniency on payments. For cable and internet, you're only allowed to use one company (Suite Solutions), and it's the worst one in town. If you try to get Comcast or another competitor, maintenance will come and rip the wires out of the wall. That all seems bad, I know, but honestly living here is pretty nice. I've had far, far worse in Lexington, and paid more for it. Ideal starter place for a young professional.

It has been a great community to live in. My apartment is quiet and I have good neighbors. It is good to see the maintenance occurring on the roof and give me comfort that maintenance is proactive. The location is convenient to my school and access to stores and shopping is great.

This complex is beautiful with very well maintained landscaping and a very welcoming vibe. Breckinridge Court is investing in the buildings and continuing upkeep instead of just letting everything grow old and go downhill like some of the other older apartment complexes. The location is convenient to many parts of the city and the office staff is wonderful!
