This building is straight-forward and no-frills for a very competitive price (as compared to many other buildings in the area), but is a pretty good fit for a student like myself. The apartment looks clean, and the kitchen and bathroom are more than adequate. There is a pool that you pay for, standard-priced laundry room (with plenty of machines), paid underground parking, and a small gym. I've read reviews elsewhere that have mentioned a cockroach problem, but I have never had a problem. I see one occasionally, but that's the case anywhere, and the management is pretty good about annual pest treatments.

Great apartment with lots of space and storage, great location, and low-ish rent for the area. Only one problem: ROACHES. The management is very good about treating the apartment whenever you ask, and they're clearly trying to deal with the problem, but whatever they're doing insn't really working that well.

The location is convenient. The apartments are large and the value of the apartments relative to other communities in the DMV area is great. In order to communicate with the leasing staff requires persistence and resolve to get what you want.

This apartment has a really good location in the silver spring area. The biggest complaint I have is the HUGE roach issue that nobody seems to be doing enough to get rid of. Instead management will tell you that the place is not infested. I keep a clean home and I kill or see atleast 2 roaches per day and they are not confined to one area. I have seen them every where. Two night ago I saw one on the wall in the hall way near the elevators

A resident at Colesville Towers who is very pleased thus far. My newly renovated kitchen and bathrooms are beautiful and my apartment is a very good size with ample closets and beautiful hardwood floors. The location is wonderful, as my balcony faces the pretty residential area, while the building is in walking distance toeverything that downtown has to offer! Most of all, the property managers work very hard to please. Thanks to LaVerne for handling the installation of my new light fixtures in an efficient manner. The concierges are all very service dedicated, especially Karyne and Doreen who have always been very helpful in the receipt of my many recent package deliveries. The maintenance staff keep the grounds and building in very good shape; thanks to Salvador for responding to the needs of my apartment in a very timely manner. This residence and building community have been a wonderful experience for my husband and me! Jean P.

new resident, am generally pleased with apartment and location. the apartment above mine has hardwood floors i think, so it's a bit loud when they walk around, the building is old but maintained relatively well. haven't been here long enough to comment on much else.

I lived for four years in this property and in general it was ok. However, when I decided to move to a bigger and better apt, the experience was terrible. They have new manager and staff in the office and they are very incompetent. They will give us wrong information, no responding our calls and making promises that didn't get done. The problem hasn?t been resolved after two months.

Front desk operator improves image of condo. Pl employ dedicated person and like present assistant who sits in evening with argumentative person who have no desire to even to say a wish.so please save the image of the condo by verifying the facts as stated.Further carpet on the corridor needs to be changed and service elevator frequently go out of service. Parking lots is to be kept neat now it is very dirty.

For almost $1,800 rent you are expecting outstanding customer services and great apartment but this is not the case with Colesville Tower! I lived in this place for 3 years and I left and I'm happy that I'm leaving this place. here are some of the reasons why I was not happy. The kitchen is full of roaches and once you have the yellow roaches there it's nearly impossible to get rid of... We reported to the office several times and Pest Control came but nothing changed Yes it is close to the metro but paying $125 for parking is crazy! Also, when I applied for the apt I didn't see friendly staff (matter fact she had an apt online but she said I don't have any!!!) they barley look at you and make eye contact... The AC and pipes are old so expect noise all day and night long whether you are turning you AC or heat on. Look for a different place and run from here...

Affordable apartment with locational advantage for being near to the down town and necessary outlets like CVS, Safeway and Wholefoods being at a walkable distance. This apartment can be a very good place to live in if Some issues like roaches, old carpets in the corridor etc. are taken care of.

I have had a good experience with Colesville Towers. The apartments are spacious and it is a very quiet building. All maintenance requests have been taken care of same-day. One of the concierges, Karyne, has been very helpful. She has a positive attitude and is always willing to do what she can to help. I have no huge complaints. The premises are kept clean and the staff are friendly. I feel safe and comfortable living here.

I was very disappionted to discover i had moved into a roach infested apartment. Saw tons of roaches the very first day. The management did not ensure this apartment was adequately treated before renting it out. There are roaches in the kitchen , cabinets , dishwasher, bathrooms (even under the toilet seats!), in the carpets, closets etc. I feel very uncomfortable, especially when it come to my food items and don't know what to do at this point. I reported this and was placed on a list for a week later. Roaches are still around., please let me know what Ross Management can do to elimminated this stress. Thanks.

This building is well built in the 50's of the last century... Since it's old building the wall are very thick and you never hear noise from neighborhood and even outside after they upgrade the windows. The only problem is on the small yellow cockroach that available in the kitchen and bathroom (we all know once this type of roaches gets in any apt it's almost impossible to get rid of it!)they tried several ways to deal with it but we still see it no matter (they or we) do. Some apartments of this building has the most wonderful view in the area. Some of the stuff need to be upgraded like the AC... So, it's mix of pro and cons like any other apt complex.

over head neighbors walk real heavy and i sometimes go to bed early thank god for them walking heavy when i me in living room or kitchen. the outside noise is crazy. buthey imnot complaining i just know better the next time. my overall is great i think i will be staying a lil longer

Colesville Towers provides spacious, quiet, apartments at really reasonable rent prices. The staff is attentive and friendly and eager to respond to questions or any needs of the residents. The community feels safe and is in an unbeatable location. The building is a bit older so it does not necessarily attract you right off the street, but it is beautiful inside and very well maintained.

We just moved into Colesville Towers but we have been pleasantly surprised so far! The staff is friendly, professional and productive. The apartment is very spacious and cozy and the amenities are great. Location is awesome too! No complaints so far.

The first year, wonderful with no complaints, the second year the property has went down....increased mice, roaches, water shut-off, air shut off, garages don't shut, brown running water, the staff are not as polite, not sure if new management or just quality of people moving in

The building is good value for the money. However, recently the security of the building has been seriously compromised, because one of the garage doors is left open during the day. Once you are in the garage, you can get in the building, and most burglaries occur during the day. I have emailed management to no avail.

I like this nice and quiet community in Downntown Silver Spring, close to the mall and the metro. The staff is friendly and professional. I really like the fact that we have the laundry facilities on the site. Small but nice fitness center always clean.

My wife and I have lived here for 5 years without any major complaints. A decent apartment for the price in a great location. There is street noise from Colesville Road but you get used to it. We very rarely hear noise from other apartments or our neighbors.
