so far so good. There are nosiy neighbors above us that constantly jump around and some of the outlet ahve yet to be fixed. other than that very happy with my decision to move here. I think there should be a list of numbers to call posted somewhere or an online weblink to report issues.

Very smooth, staff and residents have always been friendly this is third lease in two appartments. Rachel and Jay are great!! They always help out with positivity no matter what the situation is. My overall experience has been good and my view is great.

The location is good but management needs to be flexible enough to turn on air conditioning when it is very hot, even if this is before May 15. I also have concerns about mold. Apartments should be equipped with washer/dryer.

We are aware the weather can be uncharacteristic here of late. City ordinance mandates that heat must be provided until specific times. The climate control system can only provide heat or AC at one time. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding. COCK ROACH INFESTATION, Management is "attempting to fix the problem"... their attempt is a joke. This is a serious health concern for children and those with asthma. What's worse? The first floor has doctors offices, they have roaches too...

The staff is great at Colesville Towers, but the ancient HVAC system and constant roach problem in almost every room (despite management's multiple attempts at extermination) makes life in this apartment miserable.

poor interiors, no washer and dryer in apartment, poor parking and expensive, management response is not great all the times. Carpets are really bad even if they were added new. Wish the interior paints were white so the home would be bright. Add good cupboads and decent interiors. I will only recommend this to friends as this apartment is way better now than earlier.

Very convenient location...

Very convenient location in Silver Spring downtown and well like office staff and residents. My principal concern is related to the issue of roaches. I woke one night by crawling roaches in my bed.

I have been enjoying a peaceful and pleasant stay in the community since my arrival here in July 2013. There are no major issues other than roach menace. The pest control is not that effective and needs improvement. The community life is OK otherwise.

OVERALL COLESVILLE TOWERS IS DECENT, BUT NOT THE BEST PLACE TO LIVE IN THE DOWNTOWN SILVER SPRING AREA. -------- IS A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH, BUT --- IS NOT THE MOST CUSTOMER FRIENDLY PERSON. THE APARTMENTS ARE ALWAYS HOT AND THE A/C IS CONTROLLED. SO THERE WILL BE A PERIOD WHERE YOU WILL VERY UNCOMFORTABLE WHILE THEY SWITCH THE HEAT OVER TO THE AIR. THE APARTMENTS ARE SO WARM THAT YOU REALLY DON'T NEED THE HEAT ON IN THE WINTER TIME. THAT SOUNDS GOOD UNTIL IT SPRING, THEN THERE IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM. BE PREPARED TO BUY A FAN TO KEEP YOURSELF COMFORTABLE.

If you are looking at...

If you are looking at apartments in downtown Silver Spring, you could definitely find something a lot fancier close by but if you want space and you don't mind not having a washer and dryer or newly upgraded appliances then move in here. There are people from all stages of life in the building, families, seniors, students and professionals and we all manage to coexist. Any time I have a maintenance request, it has always been taken care of promptly - gotta love that. It's as close as you can get to the downtown area and the view is nice as well. Don't be afraid to check it out if youare on the fence, you might be pleasantly surprised - I was and I've been here for almost 5 years now.

The location is good,...

The location is good, but the building really lacking. As soon as I arrived I noticed the speech of hygiene in dependencies. Lack of security both in front and behind the building. Dangerous people drifted in and out of the building, and I have to live with cockroaches in my house every day. I dread to invite anyone to visit me because cockroaches appear in every corner of the house. I have pictures of everything.

All of the staff are...

All of the staff are extremely nice and professional, but unfortunately unable to address certain concerns such as inadequate A/C and building wide pest control. Perhaps these issues are out of their control due to the building being older, but they are reason enough for me to discontinue my lease.
