The only good thing about this apartment is the location that's it! Everything else below par for a downtown apartment... no wonder why a lot of people moved out in recent weeks, it's an old building so infestation is a hobby.

    My move-in experience for this location was horrible. While trying to check-out the move-in cart, the front desk representative verbally assaulted my boyfriend. My boyfriend lost his license the week before and was using a temporary ID. She gave us the cart allowing us to run to the car and load our items. Once we were coming back into the building with items on cart she proceeds to yell about how my boyfriend needed a picture ID. We explained the situation once again on why he did not have his ID while offering my enhanced license. She would not accept my ID and continued to yell at my boyfriend. She would not give us her name but continued to ask where exactly we lived then proceeded to call people asking for our information. While other residents were watching her scream and yell, I was finally able to calm some of the noise. The next morning, my boyfriend and I went to the assistant manager about the situation and we have not heard anything since. I feel uncomfortable knowing that some of the workers in this building have access to all of my information and it could be used to harm me in some way.

      It's been a great experience . The build is located in the heart of downtown silver spring , along many shopping stores, entertainment and the metro . Compared to newer buildings these units are spacious

        I love the view of the sun set, the beautiful trees view ,the mountain view from my bed room and living room window. The floor is clean and wood, easy to clean. The bath rooms are like five stars hotel. Friends and family love it! I enjoy and I thank God for this moment. We live once, so people should enjoy the view. Love the people. The management people give time and manage any problem. I enjoy the past five years in this apartment. My friend move before two years in this buikdin and she really enjoy it too.

        This is the worst building I've ever lived in and the experience has been extremely disappointing. The current management is terrible and very unprofessional. They are never available to speak with and ignore emails and phone calls. Maintenance enters your apartment WITHOUT notice and has stolen from our apartment and management says they have no idea how anyone got it and is standing by that lie. Don't move here. There are plenty of nice apartments in Silver Spring.

          I really love living at this community because I feel safe also if there is a problem in my home.. I can put a work order in and the problem is taking care of right away the building is very clean I tell my friend's and family about Colesville Towers and it is a very nice community to live

            I have been here since 2007, and plan on staying indefinitely, if this latest problem with my living room air conditioner is fixed. Otherwise, the location cannot be beat. People complain a lot about bugs, but you will see them when you live in a building with 300 units. If you store food properly, you won't have such a problem. Also, I wish residents would stop bringing grocery carts home with them. If you don't have your own cart (you can purchase at Strosnider's), then take an Uber.

              You get what you pay for. This rent is very cheap for the location. But with cheap rent comes roaches, aggressive neighbors, rude front desk and management, a fitness center with most of the equipment broken, an office with no working computers or printers, and many mice.

                  When I moved into the one bedroom apt on 02/01/18 the 4th floor apt was really nice and teady. But I moved to 8th floor on 02/01/2019 the apt was not as clean as I was kitchen cabinet was dirty and craked . The refrigerator and the Hood top of the stove are rusty. I'm really disappointed by their attitude by moving to a apartment which was percially clean . The floor (8th) I moved in from elevator to My apartment is really dirty and smelly. I wish they could vacuum everyday.

                    Love that it's so close to downtown where shops and restaurants are located. Will never get bored! Also, its proximity to my work makes it the perfect choice. Staff members are nice, maintenance is prompt in resolving issues.

                      I" ve lived at Colesville Tower apt for almost 2years It is spacious clean and have lots of closets.                         Spacious studio with a lot of daylight. Roaches are everywhere though and kitchen cabinets are very old. A lot of noise from the street even if winsdows are closed. But great location in Downtown Silver Spring at walking distance from everything.

                          The condition of the building is not the best. However, the management team at Colesville tower is working to improve the building, and it still needs more to reach to the top. I think there is a need to care about the common areas such as the residence floors hallways, trash room, and the laundry room. Also, I hope that the parking is included with the rent.

                            It's a nice community, and all the staff is really just terrific. There are a few problems that exist in the building because it is an older building, but they were fixed when mentioned, it was very clean when we moved in, and the staff is very responsive.

                              The front desk attendants (Weekdays and weekends morning /afternoon), leasing agents and manager are awesome and friendly. The maintenance department are very articulate with all the maintenance requests. Overall I believe, weekend evening staff would do better than what she does, she may learn a thing or two from the rest of the front desk staff.

                                Overall it has been a good experience I only complain about the fact that either in the website and in the offer letter it was stated that all the utilities were included instead I was told I have to pay for the water.                                   Price is really competitive, Location is great, customer service is poor. The time between the application fee and the actual approval for the unit took us I think 2 weeks. We had a bad experience in moving-in. (A) we had the service elevator reserved, but when we came, someone was moving-in. The person who was there did not reserve the area, and the management should have advised them that we will come so that we're not the last priority. (B) during the move-in, the service elevator was not working. We have to work with the normal elevator for people, which is tight and also that a lot of people are using it during weekends. (C) the entrance to the normal elevator did not have a ramp whatsoever. Hence we had to unload the contents of our moving cart one-by-one since the wheels won't drive to the steps. I asked if it's possible to use the front entrance but the manager did not allow us to do so even though everything's safe. Overall, not so smooth experience in the moving-in.

                                        This place has improved but the management here is terrible. They do not respond to complaints and a lot of the staff here is disrespectful and do not want to help. Roaches were a huge issue when I moved here, but activity seems to have slowed. Also, it isn't much of a community. Hardly anyone talks to you and I've encountered quite a few miserable people who just give everyone a hard time.

                                          I have lived here for 14 years and have no complaints. The location is fantastic. 2 blocks out the front door is the AFI Silver Theater, and The Fillmore music venue. 1-2 block out the back is a movie 20 plex, (19 +1 IMAX), Whole Foods and the new Silver Spring Library. And... the Silver Spring Metro Station is 4 blocks away.

                                            Colesville leasing office is AWFUL! Maintenance and Front Desk are top notch though and always lovely to have around. Leasing agents know nothing going on with the building and are very slow to respond to their residents. Which, just is upsetting. They also notify you of large changes (such as the garage will be closed for a whole month) a few days before you are required to move your car, get a new parking pass from somewhere else or you will be towed. You also have to pay to use the pool...Leasing Agent Erick lied about the free pool. Don't trust him.

                                              I hate this complex. There is always something wrong. The washing machines don't take debit cards, the back door is broken, the freight elevator is out of order, there is no temporary parking in the front of the building for deliveries and delivery drivers are turned away by the front desk. Water gets turned off in the middle of the night and no one is notified when it's turned back on. Terrible communication and it seems like the building is falling apart piece by piece
