There are people that vandalize the elevators by writing profanity and showing anger towards the office people because of their lack of responsiveness. Hopefully there are better quality residents that will improve the sense of community. I do enjoy that the areas are kept clean and the cleaning staff is very diligent. The freight elevator is constantly not working which makes it a bit challenging since it's the one that has direct access to the laundry facility and back door. There is a large problem with marijuana usage in this building where you can often smell it in the halls and elevators. Which also becomes a safety issue when there is not much control on who comes in and out of this building. Please invest in security cameras and more diligence in security measures.

Roaches roaches, everywhere. No matter how much you clean no matter how much you spray, they don't go away. In the dishwasher, in the cabinets, if you don't think you have roaches their droppings and shedding tell a different story. Stay away.

Pretty good. Wish there weren't so many roaches. I would have a way better experience here if I wasn't worried about cockroaches in my apartment. I am way to comfortable killing roaches. It's really decreasing my QOL.

I like this location. I don't know if others have noticed, but Silver Spring is very walker friendly. There are parked benches everywhere and other styles of seating all over downtown. A good, healthy atmosphere.

This is great community and enjoy the convenience of having nearby necessities at your fingertips. Unit is spacious and presentable. However, the unit walls and cracks needs improvement. The kitchen cabinets are starting to come out of the walls. Carpeting desperately needs replacing i.e., very thin, worn, carpet padding is worn per carpet cleaner vendors. The apartment is maintained nicely and with care. Thank you!

The apartment is attractive because the rent is lower than other apartments in the area but the leasing office staff is pretty terrible, completely unconcerned with resident needs. Worst of all there are roaches! I have heard other residents say that they have had issues with mice but I have never seen evidence of any.

It is very nice place. The service is also good and the staff always respond quickly. I will definitely recommend this apartment to my friends and other people. Also, the fitness center and swimming pool are also good. Maintenance staff is also very nice.

my major concern about this building is the Mice and Roaches issue; somehow this can not be neutralized. The inside of the building is not well maintain especially the hallways, there are cracks and residents sometimes do not keep them clean. Air ventilation has been turned off in the hallways making it unbearable during summer. The exhausting fan in bathrooms and hall ways has been turned off as well.

mice and roaches. it takes longer to resolve the issue. found mice and report to them under hvac. set up trap and very briefly check holes. thry said no holes. next day, mice trapped under the hvac. ask again them to check more carefully, but they checked only whether hvac is new one or not. and send email again but no response for 2 weeks

The size of the apartment is ok. However, there are roaches in the building. Management must disclose this information upfront or take steps to permanently solve the problem. If management cannot resolve this issue, then it must disclose it upfront and consequently charge less rent because of the problem.

This is the filthiest place I have ever lived. The building is infested with roaches. The electrical system has huge problems, and the air conditioning does not work about thirty percent of the time. I would not wish an enemy to move here. Stay away!!!! Don't come here

The cockroaches are everywhere - in the apartments, in the trash room, in the stairways. Repeated treatments haven't made a difference. I'm also told there are mice. The laundry room was closed for nearly two months WITHOUT ADVANCE NOTICE.

So. Many. Roaches. They are literally everywhere. In the cupboard. On the counters. On the stove. In the pantry. In the dishwasher. It's at least confined to the kitchen, but they are literally everywhere in there. I wish I was exaggerating. When you come into the kitchen at night, you will turn on the light and see 10 roaches scatter into various hiding spots. I've seen this issue in multiple apartments on multiple floors. Living high off the ground floor does not help.

I really love the location I work 3 blocks away I feel there are some issues that need to be resolved iPay monthly for a parking space that other people have parked in three times in the 4 months I lived there they don't have a tow company so there is nothing you can do about it you have to find somewhere else to park I feel like they're trying to make changes and the building to make it a nice place to live they're active and spraying Pest Control however there are quite a few really inconsiderate people that live there and hopefully they will be weeded out soon the constant smell of marijuana is also unpleasant to smell consistently throughout the building there was a party 2 units away from mine few days ago the lady at the front desk did everything that she could to calm the noise level down not a party pooper I'm not trying to rain on anybody's parade I refused to call the police which I think was a big mistake when the noise level is keeping up a small child doors slamming people in the hallways cussing using profanity is totally uncalled for

Roaches everywhere! My packages were lost or delivered to other tenant. They are slow to solve maintenance issues. The building has a great location and the size of the apartments is great. That for a good price compare to other buildings in the area.

Experience was great before but not the same anymore! Too much issues: molds on ceilings, AC units, appliance ... Can't open windows anymore because of smell of cigarettes and other stuffs all night long from other balconies ...

Good price with all utilities included, but note that they will start charging you water after the first year is over. Lived there for two years because I was trying to save money. If you can afford a better place please don't bother with this building- there are floors with mice infestations, luckily that wasn't my floor (that I know of). My floor had a roach problem- my apartment had to be treated four times and every single time they came back in bigger numbers. There was nothing I could do to prevent it either since they come out from behind the kitchen cabinets and through the pipes. Had to clean every single dish and utensil before using them because chances were a roach walked all over it after I washed them the first time- other than that being utterly disgusting, it pissed me off since by the second year I was paying for water and having to wash dishes twice didn't help. Luckily I never saw any roaches in the bedroom area, but the fact that they were all around where I prepared my food just made me run out the moment I could afford a new place. It's not that management didn't try, I think it's a building issue- it's housing pests through vents and plumbing so they're going to have to really spend some money in dealing with that. Another problem is that there's two entrances to the building and the number of times I could enter through either of the entrances without a fob because the doors were broken were too many.

it was a nice experience to be a part of the colesville apartment. I mean the ambiance is absolutely amazing and greener than expected. front desk is very nice. community washing area is very neat and tidy. looking forward to recommend my friends too.

It is a convenient place for metro, markets, cinema theaters,schools and downtown etc., Really one can stay very comfortably in all aspects. I definitely recommend this towers to my friends. All the officials working with the Colesville Towers are very attentive !!!

They have mice, if you are uncomfortable with them like me, don't choose here. They uncontrollably come out the air conditioning systems, and then they run to the nearest a/c unit this is how they get all the way to the 11th floor. Good luck...

I am very dissatisfied with the maintenance staff's sloppy work and the office staff's lack of communication regarding requests. This property has mice and the manager is not addressing the issues and the ongoing requests for maintenance go unanswered.
