It has been a good experience so far. Grateful for the community and how safe the surroundings are. I have not had any bad experiences. The community have been fairly quiet, I haven't had any problems with my neighbors.

Very good location and value for money. Laundry in the unit would be nice however it is at least available on each floor. Fitness areas are small however they have great outdoor areas for exercise. Overall would recommend.

My experience with the Blairs has improved dramatically in the past year, which I believe comes down to management. Living in the Blairs is a mostly positive experience, especially when it comes to community events and being close to the Metro/downtown. My biggest complaints are the noise levels (you can hear your neighbor through the bathroom vent, as well as inhale whatever cigarettes they're smoking) and the pervasive smell of weed. Love the dog park and Sonny's Green, love that Giant and CVS are right there, love how responsible maintenance is and how friendly and helpful the front desk is. I enjoy living here, and would enjoy to continue to do so if I can afford it. But if you need a weed-free home or a quiet place to live, you'd best look elsewhere.

We are glad we chose this community as our home! Not only does it offer community events, but the response by management to service requests is exceptional. Some of the benefits of living here are its proximity to a Giant grocery store, CVS, restaurants and other retail stores as well as the Silver Spring stop on the Red line.

The Blair's is a nice community. I really appreciate the concierge, cleaning staff, and groundskeepers; they are kind, always willing to help, and are always welcoming. Overall the issues I've had are with property management not following through and being nickeled and dined for every little thing. While I believe some of the issues I've had with the property are related to COVID-19, such as the lack of consistent maintenance, inconsistency with community activities and lack of follow through on concerns brought to the property manager, I still would provide a 6.5-7 out of 10. It is nice that they are adding upgrades to the lobby, but it's kind of like putting lipstick on a pig. The money would be better spent on upgrading the bathrooms and kitchens in the individual apartments. Or even upgrading the hallways on each floor. The carpet is old and looks dirty despite being cleaned weekly, and the dim hall lights are very creepy at night. Overall, not a bad place, but remember you're paying for the location, not the actual space.

Everything's very nice no problem very convenient. Giant food store next door metro station buses all over the place. Lots of community events. Nice and clean. Lots of parking spaces. Except on Blair Mill road you have to pay at the meter ??

Honestly, its not TERRIBLE, but its also not great. The amenities are kinda bare in comparison to other apartments around the area. The walls are thin as hell like I've heard my neighbor above me peeing once around 3am. More noise consist of a dog across the hall I hear consistently, a terrible singer above me, and despite being on an upper floor, I can hear everything on the street after being told the walls are great!

This building is impossible to live in due to how loudly the dogs bark outside. There is an echo effect that makes it seem as though packs of dogs are in your room for hours each day. You cannot relax or work in your apartment. You can hear them even with earplugs in. Although I am normally a dog-lover, this was extremely uncomfortable.

I like the location and the upkeep of the community. The maintenance staff is professional and timely. I am appreciative that the rent did not increase at renewal. I appreciate the Blairs commitment to masking during the pandemic. I hope my unit can have some upgrades since we have been in the apartment for nearly ten years. Overall, I like being close to shopping and transportation, and I am satisfied.

I love it moved from a 3 bedroom to a 2 bedroom and I adore my place on the same floor. 8th from #810 to 804 a AMEN AND Hallelujah.. can walk to several eating locations which is awesome and being right next door to The Giant is icing on the cake. Have recommended The Blairs to several friends who are looking.

The Blairs is a quiet and respectful, pet friendly community. Staff are nice and knowledgeable and will make sure you are taken care of. Apartments are spacious, have lots of closet space, and windows are huge!

Basically, a positive experience. Am concerned about current lack of access to management staff, that is ONLY by appointment. There should be some open office hours for people who work, such as 7-8am and 7-8pm everyday.

This is a great place to live. Close to the red line Metro station and downtown Silver Spring area. Lots of restaurants and cool things to do. Community is quiet and clean. Maintenance staff resolves problems quickly and front staff is professional. Amenities are excellent!! Wish I had this type of service when I lived in a condo. Events are fun and a good way to meet residents.

The apartment is located in a very accessible area, close to DC, grocery stores, pharmacies and public transportation. The building is kept pretty clean and the laundry facilities are on every floor. There's prompt response to maintenance even through some of the maintenance staff can be somewhat rude. There are some great service people at the front desk and have always been pleasant to me. Packaging is handled well and efficiently and the prices are somewhat reasonable for the amount of space one gets.

The location contains many amenities like nearby parks, transit, and shopping. It would almost be idyllic if not for the behavior of some neighbors. Screaming matches, indoor smoking, and throwing trash over balconies is the order of the day here. I do want to give credit to the wonderful maintenance workers who always respond to requests promptly and do excellent work. I've never had a maintenance issue that wasn't addressed almost immediately and resolved in the first attempt. Sadly, it will not be enough to keep me. I will not be renewing my lease due to the repeated quality of life disruptions that have gone unresolved despite reaching out to management multiple times.
