For the most part, most people are friendly. There are times where you'll get some neighbors that try to run the apartment building. That can present a problem. I think the staff needs to do better with these types of people instead of allowing them to call & complain about every little thing. Another thing I don't care for is, you always have to be eggshells wondering if you violate your lease. Yorkcreek seems like they don't have a problem putting people out. Instead of working with them.

It's not too bad here but maintenance issues happen more often than not in my specific unit not sure if it's one of the older units or what but there's a lot of maintenance issues. Our water get shut off for maintenance quite often which can become an inconvenience as it is for 8 hours of the day.

For the most part we have had minimal issues but I know the whole neighborhood can't say the same. Our neighbors have been quiet and all mostly longer term tenants so we all know each other and leave each other alone but other buildings have alot of riff raff.

I moved here paying $690/ Month, rents currently $1,200/ Month. One constant issue is York Creek is so big they never have adequate staff In maintenance. You will wait for everything. You will not get notifications of work completed or advised whom the job is done by. Sometimes the job will be stated as completed with nothing done at all. Trash can be found just about everywhere because kids run around unattended frequently. Not nearly enough improvements are made to show how the rent can possibly go up more. I've had other people's dishwashers that they complained about put in my unit only to have the same problems with the equipment. Even after complaints I still have this dishwasher that doesn't wash dishes. I still have a air conditioner that doesn't cool the apartment. On a positive note, I have met great people in the community, This location is close to everything, and I enjoy well the landscaping looks when they keep up on it. For the first time this year they fixed all the broken/ damaged curbs in our area. (snow plows cause a lot of damage) Looking forward to seeing the progress on tree clean up after the storm/tornado. The Amazon pick up location is truly wonderful. Especially since the old system lead to so many packages being stolen on a regular basis. When renting remember be a kind neighbor; it goes a long way towards a great community. Have respect for others and that respect will be returned.

It's not bad but not the greatest. I've been here since 2020 and have had a few issues. But it's a great place to start. Other than the rent getting drastically raised every year. I give it 4 stars here

The York Creek employees are all nice. Overall maintenance is not great. My building (699) had a hole in the concrete path to the door way and it was repaired by place a piece of particle board over it. At the time, this seemed like a quick and temporary fix. It has been over a year now and this piece of wood is still in place. A proper fix would be appreciated. Only other complaint is the tenants.. The majority are loud and irresponsibly messy people that will leave their household trash bags outside the building or dump trash from their car into the parking lot.

The area I'm in is quiet, with respectful neighbors. There is a private security company that makes regular rounds in their car. Many apartments come with a garage with electric for doing hobbies or a freezer and apartments have a private private balcony.

Fair. Continual flooding/puddles of water at entrance and around mailboxes, after storms. While reports to the office, have been answered promptly; no resolution to correct the reoccurring problem has taken place.

My experience has been ok!!! Currently dealing with cockroach issue, but they are working diligently on this issues. Rent was $975 in 2020. Fast forward to 2023 it's $1149 with NO Updates. Ridiculous!

The main reason I chose York creek was the garage and the price of the apartment, so far it hasn't been a terrible place to live except for the garbage bins that don't seem to be emptied enough, the laundry rooms are always filthy and a fire hazard with all the stuff behind the dryers, also a laundry payment app would be nice (outdated) my biggest gripe is the air conditioners are 25 years old and cost a fortune to run. On another note our neighbors above us had pets that peed and pooped on the deck above and you can imagine how nice that was especially when it rained, called the office several times and nothing was ever done about it.

The neighbors are terrible. They let their kids come out and play from 830pm till when ever they decide to go home, they don't come out any earlier in the day only when people start to go to bed and then they proceed to scream and yell and kick soccer balls against the walls of the building. There are neighbors above that sound like they walk with bricks on their feet stomping 24/7. They apartment when we moved in wasn't cleaned at all dust and cobwebs all over the corners and ceiling. The closet doors fall off every time we open and close them. Rust all over the wire racking in the bathroom. The electric outlets in the wall don't hold cords in them. But trying to get maintenance to come out and fix anything is like the end of the world they never show up or when they do they half --- fix things. Like the wire rack they barely painted 1/3 of it and called it fixed still showing rust on the rest. The electric outlets I told them before I moved in that all of them need to be replaced I tried cords in them and they fell out they came with two and said that's all they are allowed to replace. So to some this all up I plan on moving out at the end of my lease and don't recommend living here at York Creek to anyone.

I hate it here. My rent has gone up 35% in 5 years and my income has remained steady. That's a lot of money for a garden level apartment with no walk out and no perks. My neighbors are pigs. They climb into the apartment from the porch above me. I hate it here. I looked into getting another apartment in the same complex and it's almost like the policy discourages that.

The community itself isn't too bad. The last years management has been an issue having them communicate with you or even reply to you at all which is not okay. We pay a lot in rent to not be ignored..

Really the only good thing about this place is how cheep it is. We've tried reaching matinence multiple times and they have not reached out. They do not inform you of everything until it happens. We've had to call the police several times due to our neighbors fighting(domestic violence) if you are on the very bottom floor all of the windows are covered in bugs because the screens are attached correctly the worst thing is that through the walk through there is dirt along the banisters so, so much for a cleaning fee that you can't refund and the fact that they don't tell you the deposit of 500 is a minimum and can charge you another month's rent for it.

Close and easy access to everything the NW side has to offer. Including schools, churches and restaurants. Easy on and off major roads. Great shopping across the street. Complex 98% of the time is very quiet.

Very slummy
Very nasty, dirty place. I have seen used diapers, condoms and other used personal items in the parking lot for days. After you pass the entrance, it looks equivalent to a city dump. Avoid this place at all cost.

Do not rent at York Creek. Lived here since January 2019 and no upgrade or anything has been done to the apartments. Very NASTY! The front or entrance of complex where people will see in passing looks lovely but when you enter the belly of the complex, it is atrocious. They put on a good face at move in and afterwards you're forgotten about. You can live here for years and wear and tear happens to the apartment and they never come to fix it. And if they do, they charge you for simple things like a broken blind. And mind you, they aren't even quality blinds. Every year my apartment gets flooded for one reason or another and they take forever to make repairs. They never rip up the carpet or vinyl to get all the water so every year I have mold to contest with. One year I had mold all over my things for 4 months straight and I had my baby living with me and I kept calling and they wouldn't send anyone out to my apartment to take care of it. Myself and my child literally started getting sick because of the mold and they didn't take it seriously until I got the city/district involved. I live on the ground floor so whatever anyone who lives above me does, affects me downstairs. And I've had to deal with gurgling and stinky smell in my kitchen sink for the entire duration I've been here due to people above me throwing grease down their drain. I call maintenance out to rectify the situation and they send a contractor out but nothing changes. I still have the gurgling. This year my sink completely backed up and started overflowing and it took them 3 DAYS to come out and look at it. And even after they did, I had to call them back again because by the time I went to get my child from school and get back home, it started backing up again and was about to overflow. And that's just to name a few. Stay clear of this apartment complex. Trust me. You won't regret it.

I am happy with my apartment. In a quiet building w/ good neighbors. My south-facing windows fill the rooms with natural light. The maint. staff is been great at taking care of anything that comes up.

The rent is too high. The premiere came and fixed my ceiling and they broke my lamp and I've been waiting 2 months and I feel like your creature pay for it because you guys contracted them that's your contractor and I really don't want to live there next year because of the rent and because I don't like to fix stuff right away I'll take your time maintenance is very horrible

Overall, I thought this place would help me save some money to buy a house and now I can't even do that because they charge as much as my previous apt did with less amenities. Look elsewhere for better places as the apartments are outdated and not worth the price.

The apartment is affordable for the extra inflated times that we are in. The apartment has all of the amenities; however the apartments can use some remodeling. The office addresses my concerns when I have them.
