York creek has a great location. It's conveniently placed near your local grocery stores, gas stations, and fitness areas. It is a huge community. York creek also has a small play ground for kids to play. So it if you have kids that's a plus. It's a few changes that I would recommend. A while back I was trying to find a reasonable price on an apartment fast, and I choose York creek. We got a tour of their staged apartment. Our apartment was different from what I saw. I was a renter at York creek before so I trusted whatever apartment we were getting would be okay. I got apartment on the third floor, and it's not something I plan on doing again ever. It a roof over your head but the AC only cools down your living room area. So when it's hot you will need to sleep in the living room. You can't install an air conditioner in your window so you will have to buy an expensive portable air conditioner. During the winter you will need a heater because the heat in the apartment isn't enough. Make sure you get a tour of the actual apartment you will be living in. Another change would be updating the interior being that rent has went up quite a bit. I started paying $960 for rent two years ago, and the current rate is $1160, that's insane!

I think the community is wonderful and quite considering the amount of people on the premises. Of course with the amount of people there will be some noise at times but with that I'm mind it's not terrible at all. There is a park for children, very family friendly in that way. The biggest problem I have is with the office. The communication is not great, I've transfered apartment units and have had a few services done and it was quite the hassle. I do think the amount of units they have there should be more people working in the office than there is to accommodate.

A nice place to rent for a reasonable price. Sometimes neighbors can be overly noisy and not nice, but the front office does their best to work with you and other tenants to reach quiet peace. Maintenance is also very helpful in a timely, nice, and respectful manner.

The community is nice the people in it is always angry birds but I enjoy my apartment and walking around the complex don't recommend speaking to others a lot aren't nice so I just stay to myself would recommend to others a must check out neighborhood

Excellent management

The assistant manager, Morgan, goes above and beyond to make sure my family is comfortable at York Creek. She takes care of all of my concerns and I always leave the office feeling much better than when I came in. I would recommend York Creek apartments solely due to the fact that she handles every situation with care and efficiency.

Honestly, only here because I went through a hard time and these are the most affordable in the area. I know someone who knows the owner and they referred to them as slumlord, I think appropriately. They have so many people packed into the buildings, and the only thing they can provide is one tiny rundown playground. The front door to our unit building barely works, and at one point was completely broken with no door handle for a couple days. When there are bug problems instead of treating the whole building they just want to come spray pesticide the one renters unit. When you need something fixed maintenance sends out a teenager who does a half---- job and you end up having to call them again in a few days to re-fix the problem.

One of the best places to live, good neighbors, easy and fast process to lease, security and police taking care all around the area, Have living for over 3 year, no issues, no problems with other renters, always notices on tima for any change or maintenance working on at building.

Genuinely terrible place to live. Unit fixtures/amenities are so far behind the times its insane. Aggressive dogs, THAT ARE REPORTED, are allowed to stay... IN BUILDINGS THAT DONT ALLOW PETS IN THE FIRST PLACE. Paying rent online is PRICE GOUGED, and rates are set by AI that just make up a number that'll be just high enough you can barely afford it, because they make more money the higher the turnover is (gotta get them deposits). And ALL of that extorted money is used to """"improve""" things nobody cares about, like taking beautiful wooden decks and making them plastic (which they half---- the install on).

I've been living here since 2012.i love my apartment an surrounding .they come every week to clean my building .every morning I get up an see maintenance on there carts going through the parkin lots picking up paper if needed..if I need any repairs done I jus call maintenance an there usually there within that day or the next morning. It's so beautiful an peaceful out here. I jus love it .that's why I've been out here so long..my neighbors are great to..so if u like quietness an clean surrounding n friendly staff York creek apartments is the place to live

I love my location in the apartment community. My patio is a walk out and a view of the woods. I see wild life all time. Recently I seen a mama ?? and her 2 babies just 15 feet from my patio doors. I also like how the team in the office (where you pay your rent) are always friendly and helpful.

The staff is helpful and friendly, however I don't think communication get's across real well from building to building. We've gotten notifications to move things off our porch three times because they had no idea if our building had been power washed yet; our water is constantly being shut off to work on; and when we notified them about cockroaches, we were finally given a date two weeks later to have them sprayed. We couldn't even call to ask questions because they gave us the notice late in the week and the office is closed on weekends. The people in the community are questionable considering there's constantly trash everywhere outside and inside the buildings. Neighbors are quite loud with music until 2 in the morning and letting their kids constantly run and jump in the apartments and on the stairs. We've had to clean fat from someone's supper off the fire extinguisher next to our door. So if you're cool with rowdy neighbors that don't understand quiet, cockroaches, and trash everywhere all the time; it's great.

I don't think I've ever lived at apartments that are like this. I am very satisfied so far with everything. The community is good, nice and quiet. However, they dont have much to engage with their residents. No community clubhouse, no pool, no doggy park, nothing. Would love to have activities here to bring our neighbors closer together. Such a huge property, no enough engagement.

It's a cheap place to live. I'm worried about getting priced out of my apartment though. Rent goes up every year almost $100/month with no upgrades to apartments. The same apartment I used to pay $750/month for now costs $1250. Your experience here also depends on where you live, there are alot of unsupervised children, theft, litering, noise, and dog poop that varies building to building. I'd really love to see more change machines or new laundry machines that take a swipeable card, or laundry in apartments.

It has office staff on both the lease and business sides who are helpful in guiding a resident or potential resident through the leasing process and/or re-lease process. Maintenance Staff are ready to assist as well - all in a timely manner. It is a good place to live.
