    I have met many good people who run York Creek Apartments, which has made my experience a good one. The only issue is that some of my fellow residents trash the building at times, and are discourteous when in the hall and outside the building.

      I don't mind it here, I feel the ppl in the office could follow more of the rules they set. The office ppl need to be more strict with ppl who have dogs, and to pick up there dog crap. Fixing things the right way would be a good one also.

        I've really enjoyed live living in York creek! It's a safe community, -and maintenance is quick. Ive had a few things happen either super early in the morning or late at night and they came right out to help me. The office staff have always been friendly and helpful, the garages are awesome in winter and are well made. There have also been some great upgrades on the grounds this past year. There is also ample parking for residents and guests, a playground for the kids. I may have lucked out because I have had great neighbors thru the years who are friendly and quiet in the nighttime hours. Even though the rent does raise a certain % each year, it seems to remain the most affordable place to live in the area. I like being walking distance from everything, a 10 minute drive from downtown, and can be certain that the snow removal will happen in a timely manner in winter.

          Most people keep to themselves. I've seen people in passing, but greetings are rarely exchanged. It is fairly quiet, for the most part. There are dumpster divers that come through the neighborhood. Parking is usually available.

            Not the best place to live. My vehicle has been hit and damaged 3 times in the almost 4 years I lived here. AC unit is horrible and which makes my bill insanely high. Kids are all over unsupervised. They break into cars, garages, and steal what they can. Good luck finding a parking spot.

                Always a prompt and knowledgeable response from maintenance, friendly office employees. Hallways have always been cleaned frequently and grass is cut regularly. In winter the snow is plowed promptly.

                  Ask to see the apartment you are moving in to prior to moving in and verify everything works and is move in ready. Once you are in little gets fixed or replaced. Air condiments are old and only one in living room. Bedrooms and loft remain hot.

                    When we moved in we noticed a lot of damage and reported but nothing has been taken care of. They spend money on trying to make the apartment look nicer on the outside than updating the inside. Would not recommend.

                    I moved here back in April of 2021. My first impression was that how clean the environment is. With my bad credit, I didn't think I would get an apartment but by surprise, with a $35 application fee and an $800 security deposit, I was able to move out here. Moving out here alone was the best decision I've made in 2021. You get free water and gas. You just pay rent and electricity thru Consumers Energy. Rent goes up like $35 per year, which is basically unnoticeable for me. You get a garage for your car which is great because the parking lots can get pretty full. Laundry room in the basement you pay $1.50 per wash and $1.50 per dryer. Have your coins ready as they do not accept card payments which think would be a plus. Overall the neighbor I live in is pretty quiet. On occasion you have those noisy neighbors running thru the hallways but the staff are pretty prompt to get them in order. It's 2025 and I still live here happily. The main downside for me was all the animals that leave poop in your garage or on your balcony ( I had to pay $162 violation) which I had no idea my balcony was covered in poop for I never use my balcony. Overall a good place to stay if you just need something to get by in life.

                      The front door is always broke it does not lock. It got fixed but than people be breaking it to let family and friends. My garage door remote needs a new battery every 3 months. Im having water pressure issues with my shower head and faucet.

                        I wish it was easier to get out of the lease, if you're in a toxic or very dangerous situation. I feel trapped here and have been paying rent, but living in my car. I just want it to be over and the people at the office never answer the phones. If they do, they transfer me to the business side that also never answers the phone. They care more about getting new people to live here than they do about the actual residences that live here.

                          As long as we lived here,if we had a problem, it would be taken care of. Now we're trying to get Handycaped apartment. My wife lost a leg. All the paperwork is handed in, just waiting for the call to look at the apartment.

                            I love my place. I like the fact that I have a garage to go with my apartment. The neighbors are respectful (met a lot of people) and have never had any issues ????. It's also convenient to stores, restaurants and other places to shop.

                              I have been residing in this apartment complex for nearly three years. Throughout my time here, I have felt very safe, comfortable, and at peace within both my apartment and the surrounding community. Maintenance requests have been minimal, limited to normal wear and tear, and each was addressed promptly and efficiently. Overall, my experience with this apartment complex has been highly positive.

                                Maintenance is great at fixing what needs to be fixed. Rooms are spacious and easy to keep clean. Pretty and convenient. Close to Alpine so shopping is convenient. I love it here. I've even seen deer in our yard! Place is great!

                                  It's nice beautiful apartment nice size rooms the price is good sometimes I wish that I could have my air conditioner in the upstairs loaf heat rises and it's like a up there but I'm perfectly fine with my apartment and I feel safe with my kids and my neighbors are all respectful and nice 4 to 5 rating on these apartments if I need a place I would apply again you have shopping very close I would recommend them to my friends and family if I new my friends and family would do right

                                    I'm fortunate and was placed in a good building with good neighbors. Everyone is quiet and keeps to themselves. I've had no issues so far living here. Do however wish the AC was updated or something as one little wall AC doesn't do much in a loft apartment.

                                      This apartment complex is absolutely terrible. My apartment smelled when I moved in. Things are constantly being stolen and broken. My neighbors are not good people. The cops are always there. Not to mention the murder that just happened at York Creek. Worst place can't wait to move out

                                        Rent being raised by 200$ each year is stupid. My paycheck doesn't go up by that much each year. Grounds are kept mostly clean and the lights could be put on the entrances for any person walking. Maybe put in more places for kids to play in instead of the parking lots

                                            I was very surprised at how quiet and peaceful my apartment building is. I have heard many bad opinions of this place but this has not been my experience. I live in a "no dogs allowed" building. My apartments also backs up to a wooded ravine with a stream running below. I'm about 15 feet from the tree-lined. It peaceful here and I enjoy all the nature in my backyard. There are deer, squirrels, birds, a small flock of turkey's, at least 1 woodchuck and I've seen a fox, very early in the morning, several times. I've heard owls and woodpeckers and even coyotes, very late at night. My neighbors have been respectful, for the most part. Yes, I've had to ask one to turn his TV/music down a few times, not long after he moved in, which he did and has not been an issue since the 3rd time. However, I feel the rent is much too high. I am disabled and live on a fixed income. If I did not receive help, I would not be able to afford even the very basic unit in which I live. I know that housing is extremely expensive everywhere, so I'm very grateful for what I have. Maintenance has been very quick and thorough the few times I have had to request them. I have a garage so I don't have to park in the snow which I love! All in all, my experience so far has been very positive in my 2 1/2 years.

                                              It has been great living here. They really seem to care about our well being. The office staff really know their business; neighbors are another story. Office staff do seem to have a hard time convincing everyone to respectfully mind the comfort of their neighbors while enjoying their own living space.

                                                  A: Absolutely, and noise complaints almost always go ignored, OR they take so long to send their rent-a-cop over to check things out people have finally quieted down, leading to a response of "we cant do anything if we dont catch them at it", making me wonder if they arent INTENTIONALLY slow so they dont have to deal with enforcing their rules and the trouble of removing a problem tennant.
