I went to York Creek with a few hours ahead of my appointment and I was promptly assisted by Caitlyn. She was extremely helpful and courteous offering me several alternatives and answering all my questions. Explained me the entire process and showed me several units for consideration. I felt valuable as a customer and enjoyed the entire experience. That visit made me want to be part of the community. I am currently waiting for a call regarding open units so I can move as soon as possible. Great experience, awesome staff and very spacefull apartments. The location is also very good.

All of the staff that I have dealt with at York Creek have been very willing to have my problems and questions solved in a timely and professional manner. Most currently I've been working with Caitlyn to get some repairs done in my apartment and she has been doing everything possible to ensure I stay up to date and informed with everything going on. She does a very professional job communicating and getting things done for the residents.

Caitlyn is my leasing advisor, she has always been 100% helpful and easy to work with. She’s answered any questions I’ve had, always makes time for me and has never left without figuring out an issue. The community is good, close to everything you need (food,entertainment,etc.) York creek has treated me well for my first apartment! In would recommend this complex to anyone!

Dealing with the office, specifically Caitlyn, has been better than I expected. Its like a little village that's close to the highway and lots of stores and restaurants. They are great about helping me get my dog to live with me since I wouldn't be able to live without her.

I love this apartment because Stacey Sanchez personally is always there for me whenever I have minor issues, whenever I have maintenance needs she contacted the maintenance team on my behalf and also follow up to make I am satisfied. I have been residing here for over 3 years now and I have had any major issues.

I was part of the apartment fire that happened on Chasseral on Jan. 27. I just want to say that, although they did cancel my contract and move me to a higher rate two months early, I did get a brand new apartment out of it. They did a really great job transferring everything over, they got me into a temporary place same day. This was a really tough time but the people in the office were very professional and did everything they could. I gave them the run around choosing a new apartment and they met me at every turn. My new place has had a few snags, a leaking sink, a backed up dishwasher, a couple small things, but they have gotten someone out so fast each time to fix it so I can move in as smoothly as possible. Shout out to Ashley, Jamie, Marrias, Caitlyn, Olivia, Shawn, Pete and Dawn (Sorry if I forgot anyone). They were in the office helping me and Pete and Shawn were maintenance who came out on the weekend when they didn't have to because my sink was leaking at the new place. But special shout out to Stacy and Shelly in the office who worked with me to get my new place and let me be complicated and stayed really professional when I got a little snippy. They were champs. James was at the apartments to let me get my stuff a couple times and was very patient and understanding and empathetic to our situation. I felt better when speaking to him and knowing he would be available if I had questions. I don't know the names of the security who were there 24 hours a day watching over the place. I wish I did and I would like to thank them. They must have been so very bored but they never strayed while protecting our stuff while so vulnerable in this dilapidated building. But I want to give special mention to one person in particular. Mike. He was there ninety percent of the time, made special trips out to work around my schedule so I could get my stuff. He opened and closed the doors a hundred times or more as I was going out and in with my family and he must have been freezing. He called maintenance on a Saturday to have them make a special trip to my new apartment because of an issue I was having. He called me one day when I was ready to give up on the last of my stuff and encouraged me to go in one last time to look around. He must have made a twenty trips back and forth to that apartment from the office and that was just for me. He was always fun to talk to, made me feel better when I was emotional about my apartment being destroyed. I really appreciated Mike and his assistance. And he just got hired on full time so say hello whenever you stop by the office for something. This situation sucked. I am going to be honest. But everyone was really nice and professional and that made me stay. Besides, I love my apartment. It is the best deal I can find in Grand Rapids/Comstock part and you get a great apartment for the value. My sister pays the same for a loft with no actual bedroom. And I have countertops to spare which I love. I am at the back of the complex so I don't really hear any noise and there isn't a ton of traffic and my neighbors are all very kind. Though, I hadn't met most of them until we were all running out of a burning building, but we were all very nice to each other. I definitely recommend York Creek. Great value, great staff, great area.

I hated it I always got late fees for No reason I paid my rent every month, the place was infested with bed buggs and ants , they evicted me and now tryna sue me for No reason they are very money hungry ppl I wouldn't suggest nobody to move here they are lazy they don't come when u call maintenance go else where to live no here

Caitlyn in the office was super nice and so helpful! She helped me find exactly what I needed! I love my apartment. I had a leaky sink once and maintenance was very quick to come fix it! My particular building is a little noisier than I personally would like, but it’s full of children, including one of my own, so I expected nothing less with apartment living.

We moved into York Creek in August of 2017 and we love our 2 bedroom 1.5 bath apartment. Caitlyn was amazing at assisting us with getting into our apartment as quickly as possible. Also, my kids love to enjoy the park during the spring, summer, and fall, right here at York Creek! I have already recommended York Creek to multiple friends!

Lived here since September 2016, and am on my second lease. Great location, and only minutes to downtown. Maintenance is always quick to respond to a work order, and always friendly. Jamie in the office is great to work with when my girlfriend, or I have any questions. Overall very satisfied living here. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I am very disappointed. I really liked our Leasing person. The one complaint is they have you pay the application fee 30.00 per person, which is understandable, because they have to run credit and such. You get approved, and then you put 100 down to put you on wait list. I had to contact them. I had not heard from them in almost a month. They had an apartment available. We asked to see it, Most people want to see where they will be living. They had us sign a welcome letter before seeing the apartment. The Rent for Loft is supposed to be 725-and up. The Unit they showed us was 775. We were very disappointed, I would have thought for that amount it would have been the newer building, but it was the older part and the units were way smaller then the virtual thing on line. My husband and I just needed temp housing because we sold our house, and we were buying a fixer upper and just needed a place. Well we knew we didn't want it and so we found another place a whole house, so I called the next day and said nope we would not be coming and signing the lease. I said is my 100.00 refundable, and she said NO, I signed the welcome letter. I am like we should not have signed it before seeing the place, and she is like most people don't see their place till they move in. Well I'm sorry sort of like to see where I am living,and what kind of people will be around me. Just be careful when renting from them, they really nice, but then you challenge them, and it big corporation so they got to keep the 100.00 so it is whatever. Also on Welcome letter they charge you Non Refundable 169.00 cleaning on top of the deposit, and then if you have pets another 300. It quite a rip off. Good luck to anyone that rents from them.

My application ran into a few hiccups and when she got wing of this, she exhibited the best qualities you will need from a leasing agent: She is highly professional and astute. My specifications were varied and all over the place; but I must say guys; York Creek for all the negative reviews it gets online is a well constructed and thought out property and agents like Majla make it all the more appealing. I will just name a few aspects. For a techy like me; the apartment has all the wiring in the right places. Mail is well taken care off be it from USPS or UPS/FedEx. I love the garages and the location from everything I need in a city. If you have a big move and need the best help you can get, ask for Maija; You will have a stress-free transaction.

I have lived in Yorkcreek for over a year and I absolutely love living here. The staff is always very helpful always has a smile on their face when you're dropping off your rent on the first of the month and always answering your questions.

I lived there for 2 years and had a broken A.C that they refused to fix, (even tho they showed it was blowing out 80degree air!) my mother was sick and this made it even harder on her. Our one bathroom toilet was clogged for over a year and was never fixed. Then on top of it when we moved out we passed inspection, but months later recieved a court hearing to pay over 500$ to replace the carpet. 1 year has passed and we have been paying monthly faithfully, and now they decided to garnish my wages. PLLLLeeeease don't move here if you dont want to be screwed over by a place that will do anything to steal your money. Please listen to this warning, it is terrible there.

I been living in yorkcreek for 2 1/2 years. To make a long story short I never had not one complaint about any type of bugs. But a few days ago I noticed a little bug on my arm and then noticed like mold looking stuff on the walls in my bedroom. I got out of bed one morning and there was a bed bug on my sheet. We just got new neighbors about 1 month ago. The new neighbors brought the damn nasty bed bugs with them. I had to throw out my box spring but my mattress has a bed bug cover on it. Thank God. I think yorkcreek should buy me a new box spring. They should check people's belongings before move in my goodness. Now I have to stay with relatives until the 26th of October cause that's the only day someone can come out to spray. Ugh but seriously YORKCREEK APARTMENTS I think you should buy my new box spring
