Pet friendly, but there seems to be a theft problem. I've had my car broken into twice and heard of others. Rent seems reasonable, but they raise your rates every year when you resign. Pretty quiet and clean. Sometimes parking sucks

    Living at Coopers Landing Apartments has been a nightmare since the first day I moved in. The apartment itself is very nice, but that is about it. The buildings are cheaply made so you hear your neighbors constantly. Our bedroom wall is shared with a communal staircase. So hearing people stomp up and down the stairs at all hours of the day and night. Living under the upstairs neighbors has sounded like a constant thunderstorm. The management doesn't do anything to help. The laundry area in the apartment smells like someone died. The sidewalks/streets are lined with broken glass and dog feces. The grounds are terrible maintained. Pretty much have been trying to move out since the day I moved in.

      Love it! Staff is very helpful and maintenance is there when you need them. Like that there are securities in place. I would recommend this place to friends and family. Every time I need to get in touch with the office or maintenance they answer right away or call me back within a few hours or at the very latest the next day.

        The community overall is fairly good. I wish it had better amenities like a pool, basketball court or better tennis courts. The grass cut is cut frequently and snow is plowed frequently in the winter. My maintenance requests have been taken care of in a reasonable time.

          Good quiet area, however most appliances and included items are very very old, some as old as the apartment is itself and needs updating with newer more efficient appliances. A/c and central heating is very loud. I'd recommend living here if they update the apartment to be more modern

            My main concern is the grass around patio has not been replanted! It has been since 11/22/21. Been reported many times and pictures sent! New construction very noisy and starting very early in the morning!

              The location is nice because it's right by gull road but it's also out just enough that's it's quieter than I expected. Pretty well maintained. Only had a few Friday nights I heard people screaming out in the parking lot probably just messing around.

                My complex is family and pet friendly. It is quiet and peaceful. Close and convenient to shopping and dinning. It is safe and patrolled at night by security. The office staff and maintenance are professional and helpful.

                  I have had an overall good experience living in this community. I have noticed that the response rate for maintenance request has gone down. The office staff have changed so much lately there is no consistency with communication. The community is quiet, clean, and welll kept.

                    It's quiet. Maintenance is excellent. ...A minimum of 200 characters... Well, there seems to be a good mix of people. The attached garage is good. You can sign up for AT&T cable. I haven't. What comes over the air is adequate.

                      I moved in to the apartment complex in 20/10/2010 that it was very clean very clean it even has security driving around the neighborhood I moved to another building in 2021 maybe 21 and I've enjoyed every moment of being here

                        It's been okay living here. Problems your having won't get fixed at all, we have asked about the same issue since the week we moved in and it won't get addressed but other then that the property is nice. Neighbors are friendly.

                          Friendly neighbors for the most part. The grounds and apartments are clean. Management and maintenance are slow to respond. Maintenance is overworked, often takes days or longer for your request to be addressed and you get no updates of when they'll come once you put your request in. Some requests, such as power washing my algae covered deck or changing out a door wall screen that had holes in it, took years before it was done.

                            I would say that my experience at coopers landing apartments has been so so. I enjoy the easy drive I have to most of the essential things. As for what I pay in rent verse what my apartment is a little outrageous especially when they keep raising your rent at least 40 to 50 dollars a year even if you have a great track record with paying your rent on time every time. I'm sure my rent for my 800 square foot apartment will be over a thousand this year. Now on to the neighbors, I did have quite the hassle with my upstairs neighbors, letting their pitbull outside with no leash, letting their dogs go poop and pee on the deck which then fell down to my deck (not a very pleasant smell when your trying to enough your deck), they could be heard continuously fighting upstairs at late times, they managed to live here for what seemed like a year for them to leave (not sure if they got evicted or what), now on to the super fun part, my boyfriend had his truck stolen from this apartment complex, when we contacted the police they let us know that there have been several other cars stolen from our apartment complex and that there isn't surveillance cameras around the complex just at the office (even tho there is a sign that says the complex has cameras) we were never notified that there were several other cars stolen, nothing until I called the office to explain how unreal it is that they never called or emailed the residence of this problem considering these people are criminals and who knows what they would do if you witnessed them steal a vehicle. Other than those issues it is a nice place to live you are generally left alone to live your life. One suggestion would be to maybe make a better park for all the children and families at your complex to enjoy since there is a pretty big place for your dogs to enjoy.

                                My apartment is clean and a good size. It is comparable in price to others in the area, but rent is expensive all over. Maintenance standards have decreased. There often is trash on the landing, and lots weren't cleared well in the snow. My neighbors are big pot smokers, so my apartment often smells like pot.

                                  I haves asked 2 times to have my entry door repaired twice, as even when locked you can push it at least a a qtr of an inch and see light from inside apt. No one ever returned to do it?I have now asked a 3rd time. A few yrs back they had a rash of garage break ins and I lost 2000 in tools. Yet they never notified staff to allow a neighborhood watch or so u could remove stuff.

                                    For the cost, this community is great! The location is close to Gull Road for grocery shopping, eating out, and hitting downtown. In-unit laundry and a garage with each unit is a huge plus! It is not without its pitfalls, however. For one, the complex is NOISY. People working on their motorcycles in the parking lot with loud revving, the front door slamming constantly, no enforcement of noise ordinances. The complex is also dirty. There aren't enough dumpsters for the number of people, so trash is overflowing at all times, scattering across the parking lot. People don't clean up after their dogs and there is no enforcement of maintaining cleanliness. They have an employee go around and pick up garbage occasionally, but that is infrequent and there is no poop scooping. Additionally, no one answers when you call. Not the office or emergency maintenance. I was locked out of the building (you don't receive a key to the front door even though there is a lock on it) and emergency maintenance never answered after 20 minutes of calling. Eventually, I resorted to buzzing a neighbor half a dozen times until they came out. Finally, the apartments aren't updated where it counts. Sure, they look nice, they aren't "Landlord special" paint for the past 40 years, but they are baseboard heat and in-the-wall air conditioner, raising your electric bill (the one utility you pay) to ridiculous levels and they are not adequate for the space. I can't turn off heaters in rooms I use less frequently, the air conditioning doesn't reach the bedroom. It's archaic and I would expect better for the cost in the new units.

                                          It has been good but was better when we could have grills. Price is getting very high and would love to have the curbed a bit. I haven't had many problems beyond maintenance being a bit slow. That was partly due to covid issues but parts could have been ordered sooner to make up for the delays caused by covid.

                                            We have had a positive experience. Maintenance has always been prompt. Neighbors have all been nice. No issues to complain about. In the wintertime, the sidewalks have always been cleared promptly and salt put down as necessary.

                                                It started off good but now that they are building new buildings and the existing ones need repairs they don't seem to care. One maintenance man is very attentive (Karl or Kyle) another is nice (drives gray truck) the other in the black truck could care less he even talked about how "foreigners" keep apartments dirty and a few items in my apartment "would just be like that" but the other maintenance crew came after him and fixed it properly. With the new builds maybe they should hire more staff to be efficient. I will not be renewing my lease.
