Should be called "Crapper's Landing"

this place is horrible. if you are looking for a complex with unsavory vagrants as tenants and an office staff that prides itself on being deceptive then this is definitely the place for you

Cooper's Landing rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cooper's Landing is cool and it's not all prejudice towards college students which is refreshing. I for one am totally quiet which is why I don't want to live on campus. The office staff is nice and the communtiy is affordable, quiet, and well kept unlike some communities. Plus my garage is included, so to make a long story short I don't have to worry about car break-ins which are notorious in every apartment community I have lived in. So I can say that this is by far the most I have ever liked apartment living.I can't comment on maintenance because I haven't had to call yet. -Jason

Cooper's Landing is a great community!

#1 Your garage is included, moving here from Florida I didn't know how much that really meant until last winter! The Manager is very considerate, and understood that I knew nothing about the area except how to get downtown to work and back. She hepled me with directions, and setting up all the neccesaries when moving from another state (daycare, bank, grocery store, and of course--the MALL!lol)The first night I locked myself out of the entercom entry at 2:00 in the morning, and the maintenance man was here within 10 minutes. The lofted ceilings are awesome and make my apartment feel like a house. I shopped many apartments in Kalamazoo and this is the only apartment I found with light oak interior doors and cabinets, it makes the appearance seem fresh and clean. Although I don't have time to use the free gym membership it is a great ammenity to think about for my New Year's resolution, and I can pick it up anytime. I am very pleased with this community and would reccomend it to anyone, it is truley the best bang for your buck!

really cheap apartments

I guess you get what you pay for. Everything in these apartments are cheap. Things break so easily, even with careful use. You´ll end up spending your deposit to replace their cheap stuff. The whole sound damping by using concrete doesn´t hold up either. You can clearly hear people through the floors and walls. Parking got too crazy too. Need to have a pass to park in certain areas or be towed. Rent changed with little to no notice. Aweful.

nice apartment ... but

The landlord is totally not helpful. The leases are altered with little notice. The parking changes and cars are towed. If you can get by with an incompetent landlord then this is the place. The apartments are a little on the small side, but very nice. The price is reasonable for the area. If you don´t have to use the I-94 corridor than this is a great location. However if you have to get to I-94 going West, then you have a long drive (5-8 minutes) down sprinkle road.
