Our experience is good. The apartment complex is clean and quiet. However, more attention should be paid to the maintenance requests. It takes a lot of time for the maintenance team to show up after making the request. They do a good job when they show up, though.

My experience at Cooper's Landing overall has been a positive one. We have lived at the Coop for almost 3 years and It's a quiet a complex (at least around where our building is), we like our apartment, and maintenance has always been responsive and helpful! We also really love the dog park. My only issue is that they have been constructing more and more and more buildings which I know has to be a big factor for driving up our rent costs so much every year. The first year it went up by about $20/month, this year it went up by over $40/month?I know most complexes increase rent every year, but that just seems like an excessive amount to me. Not to mention, we used to have a really wonderful view of the sunset, and now we don't because all of the new buildings have obstructed it. Both of these things are clearly not the end of the world to us though, or else we would've left. I just wish if they're going to increase rent that much they would at least create some more amenities instead of more buildings?it's such a huge and growing complex, how is there not a gym or a pool by now??!! It's just frustrating to be paying so much more but to not actually be get anything more. But like I said, overall it's a chill place to live!

Moved here last year (2021) into one of the newer apartments that were built in 2021. Beautiful spacious apartments but I’m not sure if the apartment was inspected correctly. Since 12/26/21, I’ve had to evacuate my apartment six times randomly because of the fire alarm!!! One was recently, at the beginning of Feb ‘22 on a Monday at 6:30am. Tenants call maintenance + management and management does absolutely nothing.

Everything here is adequate. Maintenance is timely and conscientious when there are issues, the leasing office is generally professional and helpful. The apartment itself is reasonably clean and fairly priced.

Nice place but they take forever with work orders because of being short staffed. They are not good about things that are in the contract like smoking on the balcony. Otherwise I like having the garage and in unit laundry. No troubles otherwise.

The leasing manager (Jenny) is very responsive in returning emails and getting any issue resolved. I enjoy the grounds for walking and appreciate that the complex is pet friendly. recently had my air conditioner replaced with a new unit, The speediness of the whole experience was amazing.

The apartment complex was clean, quiet and close to stores. Staff resolved my issues quickly and had an answer if I needed it. Worth the rent amount. Outside of the noise of the city and safe to walk around.

I sold my home in 1 day, which was alot sooner than I imagined. I knew someone that resided at Coopers Landing for several years and they were pleased with living in these apartments. So, I called the apartment and spoke with Jenny Gress and all the information was given and all questions were answered. I was actually able to move in to one of the new apartments sooner than the original moving date which was excellent timing for me. I appreciate Jenny for an awesome job.

I have lived at Cooper's Landing for almost 3 years now and have had a very positive experience overall. The apartments are spacious and there are many layout options to choose from to fit your needs. I haven't had many issues in my time here, but when I have, the office staff - particularly Jenny - has been very prompt in response and shown real concern in resolving the issue. The few times I have had to have maintenance come fix something, it has happened in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend living here to anyone looking.

Great apartment complex overall. I lived for two years in one of the apartments that face the woods in the back of the complex and had a very good experience. The office staff was always prompt to respond to any requests I had during the two years I lived there and Jenny was very helpful during my moving out process.

I've lived in Kalamazoo/Portage for over 10 years as a renter and have had some not so great experiences. However, I was recommended Coopers Landing by a friend and have not been disappointed. The office staff is always available to answer any questions, and the manager Jenny Baxter is quick to respond to any issues either via phone or email, the kind of customer service you don't often see at an apartment complex. Most importantly, she follows through until the issue is resolved. Pros of Coopers Landing: Regular grounds maintenance, always looks nice. Dog owners pick up after their dogs. Fair rent - I have a 2 bedroom with loft (basically 3 bedroom) and 2 bath for less than I've paid for a 2 bedroom/1 bath elsewhere in Kzoo. Also, garage is included. Maintenance is actually skilled and responds quickly to any issues. Safe area to walk or exercise. No issues with insects or bugs, as the grounds are treated regularly. Utilities are fairly low. Modern finishes. Washer/dryer in unit. Neighbors are friendly, look out for each other. No loud partying. Dog park and tennis court available. Online payment is convenient. The only cons I have are that I wish there was a pool :)

At first glance, Cooper's Landing Apartments appears to be a nice community of upper scale apartments. I will say that the apartment community is very quiet and family oriented with well-kept grounds. However, I would not recommend this complex to anyone and would never consider living there again. Firstly, as the first inhabitants of our apartment after a new construction, it was immediately clear that the main priority of the complex was to put up apartments quickly versus correctly. Within a month of moving in, cracks started to form in the dry wall and got progressively worse throughout the year of our lease. When we initially moved in we noted that one of the windows were broken and put in a maintenance request that was never completed while living there. Appliances in general are not very reliable and again, will not get fixed if anything goes wrong. These apartments are severely overpriced for the amount of space that the apartment provides and the quality of the unit as a whole. Staff in the office are always rude when called to pay rent or ask questions and this is definitely the apartment that you want to save your lease, because they will attempt to charge you with fees not listed at time of move out unless you challenge them with your printed lease in hand. All in all, this is the worst apartment complex that I have lived in, and would never recommend this apartment to anyone else.

Coopers Landing is a very quiet and safe community for a family style living situation. The grounds were always very well kept and staff were always very responsive when called. The property manager Jenny was very helpful with moving out of the apartment and we are very grateful for her help.

This is my second time living at Coopers Landing. The staff here is always helpful and very nice. Maintenance requests are always prompt (evening during a pandemic). All of the buildings are well-taken care of and the landscaping is always maintained. The interior of the apartment is finished well and decent sized for a two-bedroom apartment. I have never had any problems with any other tenants, in fact I've made a couple friends here. The only negative comments I have here are that I don't think there is enough lighting in the parking lot/ roads for those of us who have to let animals outside at night. Secondly is that in my opinion for an apartment that is 2 bedrooms at the pricepoint here, I think the refrigerators should be larger than they are. There just simply isn't enough room for me to keep leftovers, additional food and leftovers resulting in multiple trips to the store each week. Overall if I needed to find an apartment again here in Kalamazoo Coopers Landing would be my first choice.

I called the office on 3/16/20 and spoke to Jenny regarding the current pandemic. She ensured me Coopers was taking all necessary precautions to reduce the spread of the virus, she even told me they are sanitizing the office 2-4 times a day. This definitely helped put me at ease.

I looked here for my next apartment. I spoke with Jenny and she was wonderful! She was patient enough with all of my questions, showed me the various layouts, and explained all of the amenities. The apartments are affordable and spacious. The grounds are very well kept and the neighborhood seems very safe. Can't wait to move in!
