We really enjoy living at River oaks. Good community and awesome personnel. I believe the driveways and parking area could be improved as well as the equipment in fitness center. Laundry equipment in our unit is outdated. Other than that we are very happy with the service and the apartment.

It is a great place to live, there are a lot of green areas around, it is close from my job, very clean and quiet place. The community has the bus stop but also if you want to take your kids to the school, it is 10 mins from schools.

The community is quite lovely; it is clear that effort was put in to making the complex a nice place on the outside as well as the inside. The gate is a little bit of a hastle, but aside from that I have no complaints.

Nice community and buildings, perfect for a family. I have reported 2 maintenance issues already (no urgency) and they fixed really quick and professional. New furniture in the pool this summer. I have found apartments with better bath and kitchen furniture, but schools are very bad ranked in that neighborhoods. So this is a perfect selection for a family.

Clean apartment exactly as described. Car ports are in good repair and parking is always adequate for guests. Close to all desired amenities including the university and shopping. Would recommend to friends looking for a safe, updated, clean apartment near the university.

We love this community. It's quiet, clean, and very well maintained. Office staff responds to requests quickly and neighbors are very nice. It's also conveniently located, we can access supermarkets, restaurants and other important shops/services easily.

A bit more expensive than comparable apartments in the area but worth the cost. The staff is always attentive. The constant maintenance of the grounds and recreation areas lead to a resort like feel right at home. The apartments are sizable and "nice".

very nice property located in adjacent to Oakland University. There are plenty of shops and places to shop, eat or do whatever is needed. Close to the freeway and not much noise. Staff is very courteous and polite.

Very good location for shopping and expressways. Adams road traffic at rush hours, is hard to make turns left or right. Still a great area to live in. Snow removal is great. Good pool area and workout area.

Love the appearance, staff and my apartment. Very disappointed I have to move due to the cost. It is very expensive and due to my age, handrails are a must. It is unfortunate you don;t offer government assistance or cheaper apartments

Locality is very good with excellent amenities. Maintenance staff is very prompt in addressing the service requests well on time. Also the maintenance staff address the requests when called outside of normal working hours depending on the emergency of the situation.

River Oaks is a very nice gated community in a beautiful semi private setting. Out apartment has been completed refurbished, which includes modern stainless steel appliances. Quiet and peaceful, with a creek running through the property. Mature trees and plants.

Overall my experience has been a good one. The office staff and the maintenance workers have been both accommodating and supportive. The only complaint we have is the ineffective heating during the winter months.

Great apartment, great location. This is a quiet apartment community great for families or professionals. I would recommend living here to anyone looking for an apartment. They have an over sized pool and gym which are great and not usually busy.

Overall this is a very good community to live in. It is a gated community which is quiet isolated from the road noise for most parts. Properly maintained roads and a very helpful and friendly staff. Environment feels safe and neighbors are respectful. Good place to live.

There's a tons of space in the apartment. The landscape and exterior looks great. There's also a couple tennis courts, volleyball court, fitness center, swimming pool, pool table, baby grand piano, and bbq. However, some of the apartments aren't as updated as others and it's a little expensive.
