I have always rented apartments and river oaks apartments was the best apartment delivered to me. I was impressed with the cleanliness and how everything looked (doors, floor, countertops, walls and appliances). It has been great living here. On top of it, the location is excellent. Within 10-15 minutes of everything, including parks and nature areas.

Quiet community, well maintained grounds. Sometimes maintenance requests are not handled timely/accurately however staff is very kind. Good location in Rochester hills. Feels safe with the gate and overall location.

This is a terrific, first class, well-managed, friendly, safe and beautifully landscaped community. Lots of pine trees, so it's green year-round. Feels more like a northern resort than an apartment complex.

River Oaks has been a great community to live in! Could not have asked for a better apartment complex for the price. My wife and I got an older unit and would have loved some updates, but for the price this is all we could have asked for!

Overall, I've found this to be a very nice place to live. The apartment is very nice, the neighbors friendly, and the staff is very helpful. My only disappointment since moving in was the very large rent increase that I was asked to accept at my last renewal. I anticipated an increase, but the one that I got was more than twice what I was expecting and has put a huge strain on my budget. Beyond that, I've really enjoyed living here.

Very helpful staff. We like the location and setting. Grounds are kept very well and very picturesque. Plenty of parking. We especially like the fact that this is a gated community. In today's world we value the fact that we are safe.

Just liked the overall presentation of the apartments. They had good photos, good details on their web page and some pictures of the model apartment, which helps. Also the user friendly platform helps us navigate easily.

Very quiet and scenic looking apartment. Great paths and routes to walk if you have pets or just enjoy a nice walk. Maintenance requests are handled promptly. Parking can be a bit annoying depending on the building choice.

Staff is great. Lovely grounds. Pricey but it filled my needs for a walk in shower. I do wish we had less carpeting and more tile or sheet vinyl. The snow removal crew is excellent. Keep up the good work.

This is a nice enough gated community offered at or slightly above market rates. Office and maintenance are quick to reply and friendly. The facilities and grounds are usually well kept, but the grounds crew can sometimes come around while you're trying to do a virtual conference and make it difficult to hear what is being said.

I have lived here for about a year and a half. I am very happy with the apartment, the space, the amenities (I love my full-sized washer and dryer AND covered parking is included in rent). The grounds are lovely and well-kept. Before renewing my lease this year, I looked at other places in the area and realized that no other apartment community offered the same quality, space and extras that I have at River Oaks at the same (or even close) price.

Good place to live overall for young families and professionals. But I thought it was utterly atrocious that they raised the rent on everyone during a pandemic. Plus a neighbor told me they charged her nearly $200 for paying her rent a day late. Nice looking neighborhood, but at the end of the day, this place is run with the cold iron fist of a large corporation that does not care about any of the individual that live in this neighborhood.

Beautiful, gated community. Staff is very sweet and helpful on all levels. When the repaving was going on, it was pouring rain one day and there was NO parking. I called the office and one staff member offered to come out and put an umbrella over me because I had some work materials to be carried in. That offer I felt went above and beyond the scope of customer service. I did make her come and do that for me, but the suggestion and offer was priceless.

This is a very friendly and safe community. The proximity to Oakland University's campus is super convenient, and the apartments themselves are very well kept and modern. The one bedroom apartment that I live in is very spacious and comfortable, I would definitely recommend River Oaks apartments!

Excellent place to live. Quiet and safe Dependable. Pet friendly. Family oriented. If there is any issues with the apartment, the staff is making sure done quickly. Great place to live for older generation as well. We are very satisfied with the place. Highly recommended? Excellent place .

River Oaks offers a unique landscape with mature trees and river views. The pool's location and design is also unique comparing to other neighbourhoods, has a vacation resort vibe instead of a boring hole in the ground. The apartment has big rooms and wide windows.

Definitely very quick response and attentive support staff , maintenance request were quickly done. Also pool party, halloween party , shredding event helps kids to enjoy each occasion. Regular newsletter about community provide informations and keep updated tenants.

This is one of the best communities I've ever lived in Michigan. The rent is little bit on higher side but you'll get value for the money. The staff is welcoming, maintenance people are friendly. They keep community very clean and beautiful.

The River Oaks Apartments offer a wonderful housing setup in a great location. The proximity to the Rochester Area is perfect, while still offering a connection to the nearby nature. Apartments are well set up, and the vast amount of parking is something that is hard to find most places. The staff is very helpful and on top of maintenance requests.

I really enjoy living here! There seems to be a great mix of ages here, and it is a pretty quiet, friendly community. The office and maintenance staff are prompt and friendly. And any residents I have come in contact with are kind and friendly. I hope to continue living here for as long as I am able to!
