The maintenance and service staff is super! We like the tennis courts and the outdoor pools. We don't feel good in The fitness room, shower and sauna. The apartment itself looks very nice, but the quality is not, what we are used from Germany! Especially windows and doors. The pavement of the parking lots were renewed, where we would have preferred apartment updates to up to date energy standards (windows, doors heating/cooling)

The location is ideal for me - close to work, shopping and leisure activities. The staff are the best I've ever dealt with as a renter. I recommend the complex to people in my company, and plan on living here for at least the next few years

This complex is an 8/10. It has a good location, nice floor plans, good neighbors, good staff, good landscaped etc.. It is falling behind the competition in the amenity department though. I don't know why it is but the gym, sauna and utilities are sub par in the renovated units. Definitely tour and see for yourself.

Great community with lovely people. The location is extremely beautiful and the amenities are fantastic. In my personal experience, the walls are a little thin and you occassionally hear things through the shared walls. Also, the trash bin is far from most of the buildings, so if you are an elderly person, it might be challenging to throw away weekly trash. Apart from that, the management staff is great; the maintenance staff could be more competent. My overall experience has been fantastic.

RiverOaks appartment is very quiet and relaxing with nature. It feels like a small town because the residents have a variety of family structures, and you can hear the sounds of children playing and the smiles and greetings of neighbors while walking. It's a very comfortable and safe place to live.

Very clean and tidy apartment complex that is maintained very well. The staff is very friendly and available to help at any time. The amenities are also very nice. The pool is beautiful. The gym is average- nothing special but it is large enough. There is a sauna which is also very nice. The price isn't too bad and worth it. I would highly recommend this place.

Returning to the area, I was familiar with and drawn to River Oaks. The close proximity to both M-59 and I-75 make it a convenient location for getting around the SE Michigan area. The property itself is wonderful, the grounds and facilities beautifully maintained, and it's a serene and quiet community. I've only been here a short time, but every team member I've encountered has been responsive, professional, and very friendly. My apartment was renovated just prior to my moving in and everything about it is great! This is simply a great place to live.

Great apartment, maintenance is always done in a timely matter. The apartment is clean, not too many bugs. Glad they spray around the apartment to keep them away. Happy there's an in unit washer and dryer. Would recommend this place to others.

River oaks is a beautiful community with surrounded by lots of nature. There are beautiful walking paths all around. With the units that have been renovated and updated the appliances work great and look nice. The office staff has always been helpful and friendly. Overall I have loved my time living her and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking in the area.

Very nice community. Offers a small gym, nice pool area, allows small pets with a dog park. Apartment is clean but there are a lot of bugs that get inside. People that live here seem very friendly. Gated community is nice for the extra security. Close to the freeways as well.

The staff and everyone are great. Maintenance is so quick. I love the gated community. We would recommend the place of living to friends. It is very quiet and lots of trees and trails near by as well!

River Oaks Apartments is a great place to call home! The amenities are nice and the apartments/townhomes are very spacious. Maintenance responds to service requests in a timely manner. The only thing is that they charge for everything here. I've never lived at a community where they charged for the littlest things.

Beautiful property and best maintenance

This is one of the best run and maintained properties I've lived in out of 10+ years of renting. The staff is extremely responsive and keeps the property looking great and safe all year long. They de-iced and plowed regularily this past winter even through the freak storms. The maintenance staff is quick and has a high level of craftsmanship and responsiveness. The neighborhood is beautiful to walk through and has great events from time to time!

River Oaks Apartments is an urban oasis. It is beautiful every season. It is located in a gated community. The staff is courteous and professional. We enjoy the swimming pool and tennis court in the summer and the gym all year round.

It is a nice, relatively quiet community in a location convenient to expressways, shopping, and local services. The property is in a mature wooded location, so the grounds are attractive. The management staff are great, and the on-site maintenance/emergency support is reliable. The controlled vehicle entry into the property requires a little patience at times and pre-visit instruction to your visitors, but I like it because the nuisance of uninvited door-to-door marketing and scams are largely eliminated.

This apartment complex is a great value. The townhome feels super spacious and I love the layout, especially having a bathtub in both bathrooms. I love the volleyball court and feeling like you're closer to nature than you do living more downtown. I love seeing people walk their dogs and I feel very safe here. They're a gated community and they maintain that gate well so it's always working and only residents/visitors can get in. I would recommend this location!
