The property is located near major freeways that make the metro area very accessible. There are many restaurants and shopping options close to the property.The property has very large grounds which give it a feeling of being in a more rural setting

Excellent staff experience. Maintenance is responsive, reliable and efficient for solutions. Community is strong and there are plenty of opportunities to connect with each other. The grounds are beautiful, many areas connected to rolling hills and the woods. Apartment living is quiet in a great way. Can't recommend more!

I think River Oaks is a nice community overall. The grounds are very well kept and the maintenance staff is prompt and does good repairs. It does seem like the ownership group is always trying to improve the community.

Great community and amenities. The few maintenance issues I've had have been handled with efficiency and effectiveness. The gated aspect of the community makes it feel secure knowing only those who live here or know someone who does can enter.

This is my first apartment I've ever lived in and I could not have asked for a better experience. Staff is professional and communication is great. Maintenance staff is very friendly and helpful. The apartment grounds are very well kept and clean. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice quiet place to live.

The community is absolutely beautiful. It does not feel like I'm living in an apartment complex it feels like I am living in a neighborhood. The amenities like the pool and the gym are absolutely amazing and everyone I have come in contact with is so nice. The maintenance team is absolutely amazing. They respond very quickly to any calls but especially emergencies and have always been very respectful and mindful of the fact that I have pets.

Great community. I feel very safe here. Everyone is very friendly. I've lived here for 4 years, the only thing I desire is a renovated apartment. Parking is good, neighbors are quiet. Great area for children.

It is a nice safe gated community. Management and maintenance are very professional. Pool workout room and tennis courts are very nice. Just wish they would put in a pickleball court. The dogvpark is a nice addition for those who have dogs.

We have really enjoyed our stay at river oaks. The staff is very effective and efficient and helpful with our needs. The gated community is a nice safe space for us. We appreciate the newsletters with happenings around the area for fun events and things to do. We've renewed our lease a couple times and have been happy every year we've lived here!

Just moved in Sept 17 though we had the apartment since Aug 25th. We choose this community due to its character of being wooded and serene. Lots of trees and seems pretty secure being gated ( that took sometime getting used too ) It's a major adjustment coming from a house where you can walk in through garage vs apt you have to get your key out to open the door it can be a hassle when you are carrying things . We hope it will all fall into place though in time ..

I've enjoyed living at River Oaks Apartments in Rochester Hills. The community is quiet, well-kept, and feels very safe. Maintenance requests are handled quickly, and the office staff is friendly and helpful. The location is also great because it is close to shopping and downtown Rochester. The apartments are spacious with plenty of storage and feels very cozy inside. Overall, it's been a comfortable and positive place to live.

The grounds are kept immaculately. The pool is like a resort. The area is filled with nature and trees and incredible to walk. Love living in River Oaks. The office staff do a wonderful job communicating any events, work being done in the area, or responding to any needs.

The apartment location, condition and value for what I'm paying is great but on the other hand my neighbors are really loud and the property manger is very unprofessional and not helpful at all so when considering moving here make sure to do your research and ask many questions.

Overall we have been happy with our time here. It would be nice if after almost 10 years, the appliances got updated and the carpets were replaced. Additionally, more ceiling lights would go a long way in the apartment. Otherwise, it has in general been a positive experience.

River Oaks Apartments is not that obvious from the road and is sort of a well kept secret. Buildings are in an expansive wooded area and beautifully landscaped. Apartments are spacious with larger than average bedrooms. Maintenance is friendly and very prompt in responding. Staff are creative and diligent about providing community events.
