I enjoy a lot of things about the River Oaks Community. It is beautifully landscaped with mature trees and the gated entrance offers extra safety. I selected a second floor apt. with only 9 steps up to my living quarters. I have a two bedroom with a gas fireplace and cathedral ceilings! My patio offers a view of the creek flowing through the property. The staff and maintenance representatives are friendly and accommodating! There are a plethora of amenities: a pool, hot tub, gym, sauna, tennis courts, and a clubhouse. My carport protects my vehicle even in the winter. Snow removal of sidewalks and the parking lot are completed in a timely manner. I hope to continue living here for years to come!

River Oaks has been a very nice apartment complex to live in. I've enjoyed having the deck to sit out on during the summer, and it is certainly a bonus to have covered parking for the winter. The community pool and fitness center are well maintained, and the location offers quick access to downtown Rochester, various nearby restaurants and stores, and M59/I75 to travel elsewhere. The River Oaks staff has always been responsive and respectful, and maintenance requests are promptly resolved. As with any apartment, your experience may depend on your neighbors, but I have only had positive experiences with my neighbors at River Oaks.

Been good so far! Maintenance turnaround time is quick. Staff are professional and courteous. We haven't used the amenities yet but excited to. There's only one disposal which is kind of inconvenient.

The community and the staff are great but the condition of the Apartments and updates are questionable. The primary issue is the quality of work completed in some areas. The design is good but the execution is not good in some areas like carpeting, appliance quality and installation.

Great location, close to pharmacies, stores, parks, etc. The apartments are pretty, spacious & well taken care of. All staff is really polite and helpful, everything looks clean and well maintained. Quiet surroundings, really enjoyable walkable routes nearby.

I love the nature around the APT complex. It is in the middle of a beautiful forest with a creek running through it. The management team is second to none with prompt responses to an issue. On the flip side, the building looks old and the heat insulation is not good enough over the harsh winter. The A/C is weak over the hot summer.

The community is safe and clean. The grounds are well taken care of. There has been immediate response to any issues I have had. Would recommend this apartment to anyone. It is a quiet community It is in a good location relative to Rochester Hills Everything need is close by.

I only spent a month here but in general I'm satisfied with the neighborhood and the environment. The apartment is in a good condition, upper levels have high ceiling which is neat (I don't know however how hot it will be during summer). Each unit has one car port. Mine is a bit far from my entrance but it doesn't kill you if you walk a bit. The trash could be closer and it would be nice if 2 gates would be open sometimes. A big section of Butler road (that belongs to Auburn hills) is in a horrible condition. I hope I'm not the only one to write complaints to the city.

Overall, the community is great, very quiet. The common areas are well maintained and in summer are perfect for spending the weekend. The apartments are well kept but very dark especially if you are on the first floor. The apartments are not very well insulated so you can hear everything the neighbor does, especially the one upstairs. As for the equipment, the apartment is well equipped and everything works perfectly.

Great apartment. Beautiful landscape, quiet residents great amenities. Beautiful interior of updated apartments. Ease of access, wish the trash can was a bit closer to each apartment. Rent could be lower I feel it's very expensive.

Very easy.. website was good & staff were very good. The community is quiet with a great pool and. Gym. I especially like the dog park. Our dog is able to get some off leash exercise. The grounds are very well kept, and there are nice areas to walk.

Iv been here a while and I really do like it it feels like home. The area is very convenient and there are many things to do within a few minutes drive. The office staff and maintenance staff have always been friendly fair and prompt and they all remember my name. The price of rent is with current market and sometimes even below, to me it's a good value to live in this nice community. Jim

Staff is great! The community has the potential to be friendlier. The pool is deceiving very low traffic due to the extremely cold temperature even on hot days. My body and my kids would get numb rather than used to it. People are paying a high rent due to all the amenities it has so I expect that I can utilize the pool.
