We like it here except the fact that the wooden structures are not well isolated. So it's not as quite at the first floor then at the 3rd. The residence is dogs friendly, however, this leads to some smelly experience when leaving from the buildings. Overall the personnel is very professional and helpful.

Overall it is nice. The bathrooms are awful though and the water pressure is terrible. I've had over 5 big leaks in my apartment and they still hiked up my rent by over 100. I can hear everything above my apartment. The walls and floors are extremely thin so you hear everything. The location is the best part about it.

The apartment floor plans are good but the actual fixtures and construction are a bit outdated and poor quality. Maintenance fixes are usually for short term use and their favorite tool seems to be caulk (even if it's not what should be used). Parking is a nightmare if you come home after 5pm. People with garages/driveways do not use them and take up the spots that everyone else needs. There are always people parking in the fire lanes because there's nowhere else to park.

Quiet community with a great clubhouse, pool, and grilling area. Access to shopping and Weatherstone is a great elementary. Valet trash is required but is strictly enforced which is good and bad if you have more that can fit in the can. Maintenance staff is very nice, prompt, and helpful, but repairs are to functionality rather than a complete fix.

The beginning of my stay wasn't bad but it's fluctuated over the next several years. Sadly I can't move out as I'm priced out everywhere else in the community around me. The parking here is a literal nightmare and management absolutely refuses to do anything about it. All they do is a send an email "reminding" people of the rules but they don't enforce any of them and refuse to give people numbers or stickers - just anything to make the situation better. There isn't enough parking for everyone and yet they insist on over selling the apartments. You can always tell when a lot of people move out, suddenly there is enough parking for people (at least in my building) to park near our actual building. The streets aren't well lit so if you're a person having to walk down a blind hill to get to your apartment you could be run over. They've installed these giant way too high speed bumps that make going over them way below normal speed (like just enough to get over the hump itself) dangerous to your car's undercarriage. You hear people daily scraping over them. We have valet garbage pickup and they suddenly changed the times to saying you have to put out your trash by four or it won't be picked up BUT you put it out too soon and they will fine you. I don't get off work until 5pm and won't get back to my apartment until 5:15-5:30 but I can't put it out in the AM. So I will be paying for a service I can't use and I'm very frustrated by that. For me personally, I've had four leaks in my apartment and yet management has not offered once to give me help on rent or anything. All four have caused damage to the unit itself. The damage to the building itself is being fixed but once again not one offer to make it right by taking $ off my rent for the inconvenience. The complex is a nonsmoking area but when you do smell smoke and give them evidence of smoking with a possible apartment number, you're told out right they can't do anything. So you're forced to smell pot on some nights. I wish I could say I've enjoyed my stay here for all 5+ years but it's been going up and down. The people in front office up until September of 2024 haven't been the nicest. I hate calling up to the front because you never know who you will get. Recently they've hired some of the nicest ladies and I was shocked to call up there and not get lectured. They were very sweet and very nice and willing to help. It's honestly not worth the price you're paying as the apartments are out dated. If you have to have a place to stay I guess there are a lot worse places. Just be warned of all of the above.

You have been very supportive of handicap needs and changes to our apartment. This has made living at Bell Preston possible. From the bars you put in the bathrooms to replacing carpet with vinyl flooring in two bathrooms - ou apartment is totally handicap friendly!

I think they work very hard to keep the community lovely and well maintained. The parking situation is not great. However they do send out reminders to residents of the policies on a regular basis, The maintenance techs are prompt and friendly.

My two roommates and I have had a fairly positive experience living at the Bell Preston Reserve since last summer and we have renewed our lease until next summer. The rent is very competitive with nearby complexes although the units and appliances are older as well. The leasing office staff, groundskeepers, and maintenance are all courteous, friendly, and eager to help. The amenities are well maintained and we've made great use of the gym, pool, and roads for walks. Our unit is not as updated as the photos on the website, so it was a surprise to see older counters, cabinets, and fixtures at move-in, but understandable with the lower rent we pay. We've had issues with several of the older appliances but they were quickly remedied by maintenance. There is limited parking which can cause tension between neighbors that do not have parking garages and those that do but do not park their cars in them or in front of them to free up spaces. Otherwise, neighbors are relatively friendly and understanding. Our building is beside the clubhouse and pool which also makes it difficult to find parking when there are several visitors that park on the side of the clubhouse near the 300 building as opposed to the parking lot on the other side close to the gym and mailroom. All in all, we enjoy living here and are understanding that most issues we encounter are out of the hands of the staff and just perks of apartment living. The units are very quiet, great location, and friendly staff!

Enjoy the fact that the pool is open from late April until the end of October. Any maintenance requests are dealt with promptly. Generally a very clean environment. Clubhouse open every day with wifi available. Staff friendly and helpful. Main problem is the lack of parking spaces.

This used to be a beautiful community, however it has not been updated rotting wood by garage, squirrels getting into attic area roof and by windows should be updated. Never power wash the porches. And have no water connection outside to do yourself. My balcony is so dirty from pollen I can not enjoy it. Roaches are so bad, and we now have mice in the attic area and in our garages. Overgrown bushes This property should be updated.

I enjoy living here because I feel safe and comfortable. I like the diversity of my neighbors. One of roughest issues I deal with is as I walk in the afternoons, I want to knock on some doors and ask for samples because the cooking aromas are so wonderful. I have found the staff takes good care of me and maintenence is always promptly addressed.

Respectful, friendly, and diverse residents, great location in Cary, great gym and pool, family-friendly, and walking distance to the elementary school. The property is always clean and feels very safe. Cons: no dog park, there's a lot of grounds work and it can be really loud (leaf blowers, etc.).

My apartment was dirty, needed repairs, and had major pest issues when I moved in. Getting everything resolved was incredibly frustrating and took entirely too long - more than a month. That ordeal really soured my experience here, and I regretted moving to this apartment complex. The office staff was always kind and helpful, though. It took some time, but I do like living here now. The apartment is spacious and my neighbors are generally quiet.

its been a great place to live but rent has went up way too much when I first moved here they said an increase of 3 to 4 % I use to pay 1300 now 2,000 but now its like doubled so sadly ill be moving out this year.
